I love to hike and camp. Can't stand to run but it helps me clear my head so I do it 5 days a week. I love to read and write and have made every attempt to make it a living, even in this over saturated market.

What's the Fastest black and white laser printer for printing photos?
  Oki B431DN
If you're looking for speed and quality, this is definitely the printer for you. It boasts 40 pages per minute and for graphics/photos at least 33 pages per minute. It also features an auto-duplexer for double sided printing and a tray that holds 350 pages. It's a very impressive device to say the least.

Looking for the best inkjet printer for photos. Advice? Under $100?
  Canon PIXMA MP495
You certainly don't have to spend a fortune to get a really good photo printer. As far as printing documents, it's as any other printer goes, efficient and clean but nothing too terribly special. Photo printing on the other hand is very fast and high quality, out-performing even the toughest competition. You won't be disappointed here, not in the price let alone the quality.

What would you say is the best all-in-one printer for photos?
  Lexmark Platinum Pro905
I love Canon's for printing photos. I've had many and love them all, however, as all in ones go this one is a few steps ahead. Your photos will look professional as will your documents, coming out clean and sharp. The Lexmark's ability to fax, copy, and scan is also a step above the competition in speed and dependability. You'll love having double trays for extra paper and its ability to print on both sides. Use high quality photo paper and you'll worry less about cost of ink because it really does make it last so much longer.

What is the best printer for photos under $250?
  Epson WorkForce 610
I rarely buy a machine or device for only one feature so I thought I would suggest this printer. It is priced very well under $250 and prints beautiful images from your camera, memory card, or computer. It is not fast but it is quality. It is also dependable for use in a small business or at home for printing documents, faxing, copying, can scanning. I highly recommend it for all of its versatility but especially for its print quality.

Best printer for photos?
  Lexmark Platinum Pro905
This printer creates some top rated photos....definitely professional quality. It's also very useful for other activities such as faxing, scanning, and copying. Your documents will look clean and sharp. It's nice to have an all in one machine that excels at photos. Ink usage is pretty standard but you can help with longevity by using higher quality paper, which might also seem expensive at the time but will help your pocketbook in the long run. You'll be impressed by the quality and performance.

In the 45-50 inch category, what is the best TV for watching movies?
  Sony BRAVIA XBR46HX929
My brother has this TV and I love to watch movies when I go over. The colors are amazing with deep, dark blacks and vibrant, bright colors. The picture quality is amazing. The design of the TV really makes it stand out. It has a very nice, thin profile, is made with Gorilla Glass, and streaming services as well as built in WiFi. I've not watch a 3D movie on it yet but I'm guessing it's pretty sweet and at least it has the option. The only downside I see is that it seems pretty expensive. I guess with this kind of quality, though it's expected to be a bit more than most.

What is the best 35 - 39 inch TV?
  Samsung Ln37d550
This is a great looking TV, both in design and picture quality. It has some really great shadow detail, deep black levels, and and vivid color schemes. It has a matte screen for anti-glare in your brighter rooms but still can be well viewed when it is dim. It offers a lot of connectivity options and a user friendly menu. All of this and it's inexpensive. High performance for a low price. Awesome.

Trying to find the easiest to use tablet under $500, any advice?
  Barnes & Noble NOOK Color
My husband bought me a Nook Tablet for Christmas and I'm so happy about it. It has 16GB of storage space which is a bit more that the Kindle Fire, other wise they are very similar. The screen resolution is impeccable, selections are varied but well organized, settings are all customizable, the B&N store is well stocked and easy to use, etc. I read constantly on this. There is nothing easier. It has one button on the side that powers it on and off, two on another side for volume, and one below the screen to wake it up or for options such as the web, library, etc. Navigation is a breeze. It's perfect. Highly recommended.

  HP ENVY 14-3010NR Spectre
This laptop is very unique with a glass covered design and it packs a lot of features in its 14 inch body. I think I'm most fascinated by it multi-touch response system, its thin frame, and powerful operating system. It's an excellent launch to begin 2012.

What are some of your favorite monitors?
  NEC MultiSync PA271W-BK-SV
The NEC monitors don't always have the best in connectivity but what they lack there they make up for in quality and often features. This one is a dynamite performer and has an amazing onscreen display. It's sharp and the very color accurate. I'd recommend it to anyone but it would be great for a graphic artist.

Would like to buy a good vertical alignment monitor.
  NEC MultiSync P221W
VA panels are really good alternatives to more expensive models. This one will perform really well much like its professional brothers. It has very good viewing angles, accurate color, and a very classic design. I generally prefer a more feature rich display but that doesn't always make it better. This monitor will provide value, speed, and quality.

  Samsung P2370-1
Unfortunately, this monitor only has one HDMI and there are zero s-video connections. I say unfortunately because it other wise has a ton of connection options, great image quality, built in speakers, and is best overall performance wise. It's a really good deal if you can get past the lack of HDMI.

What is the best 40 inch (or bigger!) monitor for watching movies?
  TCL L40FHDF12TA
This monitor might be a bargain but it is certainly a jewel in disguise. It has to be. The reviews are really great and for a monitor this size to be under $500 is amazing. I hear that the detail is rich and colors are dynamic but the best is in cinematic mode because everything is deep and performance is one of the best. There are tons of connection opportunities and 178 degree viewing angles. I honestly doesn't get much better than this. Entertainment experience of a lifetime at a great value.

  HP ZR30w
This is an outstanding monitor. IPS monitors are so much better for viewing photos, editing, and movies because of the picture quality. You're getting amazing color that stands out brightly, vivid, sharp, and accurate. I've had friends who have gamed on it and talk about incredible it is for that even, and the response time isn't as fast as another type of panel but certainly keeps up and impresses many. I think it would be a great option for you.

Basic specs show that you get great game audio and clear voice chat that can be used on your PS3 or Xbox 360. Batteries are rechargeable and there is an estimated 10 hours of playing time on a single charge...or you can charge while you play.   General Dynamics Itronix Corporation, Duo-Touch Tablet PC - US
If you're talking seriously durable, it doesn't get more so than this. Made of die-cast magnesium casing and is dust and water resistant. The screen is viewable from outside and weighs in at less than 4 pounds. There are some that are more durable than this and have been drop tested but some are military tested and approved making them weight similar to that of a laptop (6-8 pounds). I'm not sure it's exactly what you might want to consider, it's certainly not thin like an iPad, but definitely durable.

Is wireless backup on your external hard drives worth the extra price under $350?
Apple Time Capsule 2TB (4TH GENERATION)
I don't know if this is exactly what you're talking about but this is a great external hard drive and network device. Your computer can connect to it wirelessly or wired but you can also connect other devices to it as well and connect to them wirelessly as well. It has a huge amount of memory so you'll be able to use it for a very long time or save multiple computers to it. I have an older version that is 1TB and I run/save 3 computers worth to it. I use it to backup and to save music, movies, pictures, etc. that I have saved to my computer in the event anything should happen. I think external hard drives are a very good idea. I didn't think they were necessary until something happened to my computer and when I got it back up and running, everything was lost. They are very beneficial.

Which one is better Canon 550D or 600D?
If your intention is to shoot still images as opposed to video, I would recommend the 550D. Its less expensive and aside from a few upgrades, is basically the same camera, however, if you have intentions of doing more with video and stills you will want to go with the 600D. You will get the addition of Basic +, creative filter effects, built in flash control, video snapshot, and movie digital zoom. As upgrades go, though, if you're considering the 600D because of its added features, I would recommend you skip it and go straight to the 60D.

  Apple iPad 3 MC705LL/A
This is definitely the best tablet for them. It has a large 10 inch screen and is definitely the easiest to use or learn to use. It also offers the most useful apps for both children and adults, alike. It is thin and has a front and rear camera for pictures and video or for FaceTime chatting. The Amazon market has an impressive collection of music, video, books and magazines, and Android apps to choose from. It also features Netflix, Pandora, and Hulu. It's not as technologically advanced as many others, lacking a GPS, camera, etc., but it is easily the most outstanding entertainment tablet in this price range.

The polarized 3D glasses really made things jump out. The look is amazing and they are so light you'll forget that they're on. 3D picture quality really stood out just as much as the 2D quality. The images were striking and the color was very clear. I'd really like to get one like this for the kids.

Best 21 to 24 inch TV for Sports under $350?
  Philips 22PFL4505D/F7
I don't know about it being the best for sports but when my husband and I watch I like to see rich deep colors and this TV can provide that. It's a great design but best of all the picture is clear and the contrast is awesome. Connectivity is good with lots of options to add devices for movies or gaming. You can also view photos or play music, not to mention use it as a PC monitor. There are a lot of viable options to purchasing this, especially the price.

Best 21 to 24 inch Internet-Ready TV $350?
  Vizio M221NV
VIZIO Internet Apps
Built-in WiFi 802.11n
1080p Full HD with Razor LED backlighting
50,000 to 1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio
SRS TruVolume and SRS TruSurroundHDTM audio
This one looks like a great option. LED backlit with HDTV and high def resolution. The picture is very clear and offers sharp detail. The design is very nice looking and I love the ambient lighting. You can connect to the Internet by WiFi or Ethernet and the offered apps are plentiful including Amazon Instant, Netflix, VUDU, yahoo, etc. You can also stream movies, TV shows, listen to music, and check out the stats for sports and weather. It's a great deal.
