Skyrim when it goes on sale on steam or get it used at a game store for ps3 or xbox360. This game is great for RPG fans and can keep you entertained for hours on end. The only thing is that its 60$ so you have to get it on sale.

Left 4 Dead and Portal 2; like the others said. I would also suggest Borderlands and Trine 2. Trine 2 being only 15$, therefore the cheapest.

I highly suggest half life 1/2, terraria, magicka, limbo, Garry's mod (you must own at least one valve title to play this one). Apparently shank 2 is fun... Tf2 and APB reloaded are free and very fun. Out of the ones i gave you that cost money, i would suggest either terraria or magicka to last for quite a while and have a lot of fun with it. If you like minecraft than get terraria over magicka to begin with.
