I think this is the best option for an all around great home coffee maker. It is priced right, looks great, and is simple to use. Makes a wonderful pot of coffee... assuming you have the right coffee!
It has all the right features:
Makes up to 12 cups
24 programmability
Has 'brew pause'
Adjustable carafe temp
The simple interface will be easy to use. I think it looks fantastic.

iPad 3 is pretty amazing. The display is beautiful , and it's just so easy and intuitive. I would also recommend Asus transformer, which is very similar to iPad (spec-wise) but is is obviously android.

Not sure if you'll find them a whole lot cheaper.... this is a pretty good price though, and these are excellent headphones. Nice sound and very comfortable.

I suggest something like this. Has Nvidia GeForce GT 520 graphics... pretty good. Fantastic for the price! You're looking at an AMD FX Series Quad Core FX 4100 processor (3.6GHz), 8GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB Hard Drive. Not bad at all for the price.

Not sure how much you are looking to spend here but these are very popular because they are comfortable, high quality and affordable. Definitely a great headset.

I think at this lower price point you might want to consider something from Viewsonic. They make great monitors for someone on a budget.
It's 3D ready and has 1920x1080 full HD. Great deal!

Yo Candice! This one is known for its soft keys and quiet keystrokes. It's great for gaming and has backlighting options and even has 12 programmable g keys. No loud clicks here.

These seem to be pretty nice.... small, but they get the job done. You can't expect a real nice camcorder at this price, but you can find something to take some decent video for you. The thing is it's just so small! But it does record 720p HD video and does 4X optical zoom. Seems like a pretty cool camera to me.

If I were to buy some studio 'phones right now for under $60 it would be these. This is a good company and these will be some excellent headphones. High Quality.

HP's dv7 is probably going to be your best option. They suggest that these computers will go a staggering 10 hours before the battery runs out... and although it's probably a slight exaggeration it still gets some of the best battery life around. It was rated #1 on a cnet list for best laptop battery life, too.

Asus makes great computers. For gaming, I'm assuming? Check out Asus.

For under $500 I would go with their new L class laptops. They have some good specs and should be pretty nice for editing and light gaming. Here's what you get:
- AMD Radeon HD 6520G graphics
- 640GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
- 4GB SO-DIMM RAM
-AMD Quad Core A6 3420M processor 1.5GHz
Sure, it could have a faster processor, but for under $500 you can't expect too much!

I vote Pioneer! They have such a good reputation... everything they make is good. Did look at that Xone and it also looks very nice.. I love the sleek design and lights, but I still think Pioneer is the better choice. Either way it looks like you'll be in good shape!

Tyler I think this is the best deal on the web right now for a gaming/general use type of laptop. Somehow, for under $1000 Asus has crammed in Nvidia GT 630M graphics, 6 GB DIMM RAM, a 750 GB 7200 rpm hard drive, and an Intel Core i7-2670QM processor.
Asus is always a solid way to go, and I think this is the best bang for your buck right now.

Here's a Samsung printer that should work quite well for you. Color, laser, wireless. It has a pretty small footprint which makes it a good bet for home use. Samsung's polyermerized toner process involves a "wax layer and fine fusing," which I guess makes for very clear images.
Should be fairly easy to set and get printing right away!

This is a great budget card. Won't find a much better deal as far as I know of.
EVGA is just a solid company for this stuff.

This is an excellent choice for you. Amazing sound reproduction with this open design, and these have a super soft touch on the earcups. Also get a gold-plated stereo mini jack and 1/4" adapter.
Beyerdynamic makes a seriously nice headphone....you gotta check these out.

Love this monitor. It's totally what you need. 3D capable, full HD, 2ms response time, 120hz...this thing is loaded. The visual integrity is going to be outstanding... built integrity not quite as great, but doable, especially for the low price they are selling it for.

Ever tried JVC headphones? I had a pair like this and they were real nice. Complete ear coverage, nice sound blocking, and really good sound quality.
The best part is you can wear 'em for hours and they're still comfortable. Check it out! Nice headphones.

Don't know if they make 'em faster than this... 1 ms response time should be excellent for gaming, which I would assuming is what you need this for.
Also has full HD. This should be a great monitor for you.

I'm thinking something like this.... medium sized, way under $100, has a little pen clip, capacitive stylus (for all touchscreens). It's got a lightweight aluminum body that you won't even realize you're carrying around. I think spending any more than this on a stylus would be unnecessary!

I have seen this one suggested on this website before, and I'll tell you what, it looks like a killer deal to me. Fantastic specs for the price, and it's actually well below your price point. Looking for something for entertainment/gaming, I am assuming? Check out what's under the hood:
Intel Core i7-2670QM Processor
6 GB DDR3 Memory
500 GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive
Nvidia GT 540 1 GB Graphics
This is a great laptop. Lots of power, and from a reputable brand.
Hope this helps :)

Similar to Jace's suggestion, here is an earbud version of the same thing.
I like these fabric cords because they almost never get tangled. It has a microphone and volume control/track control for iPhone iPod and iPad, all in line. Also has gold-plated connectors, which help sound transfer without losing anything.

Like Angela said, it really is more about your settings than the actual camera, although a nice camera does help. This is a great non-dslr camera that is super easy to get set up with the right settings for whatever you are shooting. (automatic)

This is sort of tough because I don't know what you are trying to record. If you could be more specific as to your intended uses I could probably give you a better suggestion. However, these little Flips are pretty cool. You can get up to 2 hours of HD video (720) and it is pretty high quality stuff. You can buy a little tripod if you need something like that. Videos upload extremely easy, plug it directly into your USB.
I think this is your most affordable option. it doesn't have a ton of features but it will give you HD recording at a great price!

Seems like these would be a good choice for you. Sennheiser is generally a great way to go... I guess some people complained a little bit about the build quality not being great, but sound quality is good and they will be comfortable, too.
It's got the in-line microphone with answer-end button. Just be sure to take good care of them, because they are light and delicate! But good.

Look no farther... this is all you need! It is the "official" PS3 headset. It has 7.1 virtual surround sound and a boat load of gleaming reviews. These will deliver a high quality, almost audiophile type experience. they are well crafted headphones, I'm sure you will like them!
My favorite thing about these (besides the sound quality) is the ability to mute the microphone and control the volume with a tap or slide of the finger on the headset. Cool technology.

Asus is becoming one of my favorite companies... they always seem to offer a solid product at a great price. Though the screen size may not be quite be what you wanted (slightly on the small side...) the performance specs are pretty awesome, especially for the price.
You get...
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 520M 1GB GDDR3 VRAM
Intel Core i5-2430M (2.4-3.0GHz)
750 GB 5400 rpm hard drive
8GB DDR3 1333MHz dual channel memory
I think this will be a solid performer and one of your best options at the under $1000 point.

You could also try Radio Shack. They have a good selection of pretty high quality USB cables, including mini, A/A, A/B. They will definitely have one long enough, too. (I've bought USB from them before)
They also offer a 3 year warranty on them for, get this... $1.

There are not a ton of great options in the under $50 category. If you can manage $65, you could get this awesome logitech keyboard.
Custom color backlit keys, programmable g keys, game mode switching, and generally sleek aesthetics are some cool features that come with this thing that you might not find in the under $50 category.
Very nice stuff from logitech.

I have seen nothing but good reviews for this netbook from Asus.
It looks really nice with its brushed aluminum outside.
It comes with Microsoft Windows 7 Starter 32-bit pre-installed
Also has Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz CPU ,1 GB DDR2 SDRAM, 250 GB hard drive
Obviously no optical drive. Sweet netbook though... worth a look for sure.

Well I was going to recommend the HP Touchpad because it's a bit larger than Fire and has a pretty nice display. Movies would look great on it. However, I then realized that I don't think you can watch Netflix on it! And that's not really good for watching movies... at least for me it would be a deal breaker.
So yeah the Fire doesn't have a huge screen, but it does give you almost unlimited access to millions of movies and tv shows (and books and magazines and games too!) and the screen is actually quite nice and very clear. And you get Netflix! And Hulu!
Fire is an amazing deal, especially if you just want to enjoy some movies from the net.

You will definitely want at least 120 Hz refresh rate, that way none of the action will be blurry. Refresh rate, along with picture resolution, would probably be the most important things to consider when buying a TV on which to enjoy sports. The picture quality will be excellent (full hd at 1080p) and like I mentioned before, 120 Hz is plenty.
It has a contrast ratio of 150,000:1 so you'll see darker blacks and more vibrant colors in general. The TV is nice and thin and can be mounted on your wall, which I suggest doing because it just looks cool!

If you had an unlimited budget I would probably recommend a Nikon D7000.... wow that's a nice camera. So is this Rebel T3i, and I think it's the best option in your price range.
For aviation shots you certainly will want excellent image quality, quick operating speeds, autofocus, maybe some continuous shooting options. This guy totally delivers on all these fronts. It has really fast, accurate autofocus... the same that is on Canon's high end 60D. It has very fast shutter speeds and in genera takes beautiful pictures. Add a zoom lens and you will really be in business. Oh and it also has continuous shooting, at up to 3.7 pictures/second.
If you ask me, this would get some awesome plane shots, and would definitely be worth your money.

I think Logitech is always a good way to go for a solid accessory like a gaming mouse. They make good stuff that always seems to work really well and for a long time... that's been my experience at least.
This thing has 13 programmable buttons that will enable you to be super fast.... if you're into that. Mike A. mentioned he doesn't like those "annoying side buttons" and that's cool, they're certainly not for everyone, but they will help up your gaming speed. It also has really accurate tracking (5700dpi max) to help keep you ahead of the game. And another great thing is you can use rechargeable AA batteries with it.

I would have to suggest this or the Asus Eee Pad, but this one comes in first for Skype because it has slightly better cameras. It has a big 10 inch display with an NVIDIA Tegra Dual Core Mobile Processor and the Android Honeycomb Operating System. Good stuff right there.
Let's see.... trying to think of what in particular would make it great for Skype, besides the 2MP front facing camera (it also has a 5MP rear facing camera with auto focus and LED flash). It has great sound, with its dual analog microphone and dual speakers. It will be great on the internet, as it has It has 802.11b/g/n wireless. Besides these things, it will be an excellent tablet all the way around. The screen is big and bright, and the Honeycomb OS is super fast and easy to use. Also geta great battery life. Check it out!

Unfortunately there aren't many full function tablets available at this price point yet... and what I mean by this is that while you can expect to do many cool things on this tablet, it just won't offer the same all around experience that, say, an iPad will. The main problem with this tablet is that its operating system is really designed for phones, so some apps will default to phone mode, and either have low resolution or be small (phone sized). However, many apps work just fine and will have no problems... you're just going to have to mess around with it.
It will handle your schooling activities pretty well though. You will be able to browse the internet, send emails, and read material online.
Also worth mentioning is it has a big and beautiful screen! Especially impressive for the price. I think this is a good choice for the price.

Viera gets my vote on this one. Excellent television. Big 50 inch plasma screen with 1080p full HD, 600Hz.... I mean what's not to like?
Well, one thing I guess.... according to my research some people experienced fluctuations in the screen brightness, and this is due to an overactive light sensor that is supposed to adjust to the lighting conditions in the room. All you have to do is cover the sensor with tape or something (if you even notice the problem) and viola! problem solved.
Now, for the goods. This thing is internet ready, and you'll be abe to watch Netflix, listen to Pandora, and check your Facebook along with a plethora of other internet options. It's also somewhat environmentally friendly, as there is no lead or mercury used in it at all.
An excellent TV for you.

|
|
This is great option for you, although it is twenty bucks over budget.
I think at this low price for such a large TV you will have to sacrifice some feature that you may want... with this particular one it's going to be your pixel count.... it only offers 720p. To me that's not a huge deal, but to you it might be. I think this is about as nice as you will get at this price point though, new that is. The awesome thing is that it is a plasma screen and has a refresh rate of 600Hz. Impressive... that's why we like plasmas, huh?
The TV itself is really cool and slim... less than an inch thick for most of it.
It has self calibration or you can do it yourself if you're picky. It's also energy star certified.
I mean this is an excellent set that offers a high end viewing experience and size for a low end price. Good deal if you ask me.

I think this Haier would do quite nicely for you, it's got some nice features and a low price ($215). I don't know too much about the brand, but I have heard pretty good things.
It will give you a 26" 720p HD display... pretty good, considering the price. It has an LCD screen, and has an attractive, slim profile.
You can't expect a bunch of bells and whistles, but it will play all your favorite shows and they will look great. I guess some people described the sound as a bit "tinny" but other than that, lots of good reviews on it!

This will be just barely a touch over a thousand and definitely worth the extra couple bucks. Let's see, for gaming a couple different important factors come to mind. Refresh rate is of course very important. The "refresh rate" is how many times per second the image is drawn on the screen. For fast paced games you will need something with a pretty high refresh rate or else the image will be blurry. The same principle is true for sports.... a low refresh rate will yield a blurry picture, and the action will not be as clear.
You also want to consider size vs. picture quality at your price point. If we're at a static price point, (like $1000, for example) you will find that as your screen size gets larger your other specs go down.... like to 720p or maybe it won't internet capabilities or whatever. I think incredible image quality is more important than screen size, so it's important to find a TV that is a nice medium.... Enter the Samsung UN46D6000 (they need to come up with a more accessible model # or name or something!). I think this is a fantastic combination of screen size, picture quality, refresh rate, and all around value.
This thing has a generous 46" screen..... there are bigger screens out there, but like I said you might have to sacrifice picture quality to get one. This guy has a 1080p, full HD, LCD display and 120Hz refresh rate. That should be plenty of oomph for just about any game out there. The smooth motion on this thing is excellent... here's how they describe it on their site: "Auto Motion Plus 120Hz brings action movies and sports to life in the living room, thanks to frame-to-frame smooth motion. This technology eliminates motion blur by calculating the image and inserting it, creating a non-repetitive transition from one frame to the next. Blur is virtually eliminated and clarity enhanced, for smooth, lifelike motion."
Add to that its full gaming connectivity and the fact that it's energy star certified, and I think you have a real winner!

You're probably going to want a digital SLR so you can have the option of switching lenses. This particular option only includes the camera itself, but it will allow plenty of room in your budget to buy some awesome lenses to accompany. At some point you will probably want a telephoto lens, this way you can stay far away from your subject and get a great shot without disturbing them.
If your budget was a bit higher I would recommend a Nikon D3, but at this price point it would leave no room for lenses (the camera itself is at least $3000), and without a lens your camera is useless!
This will be a good way to get an excellent camera and some great lenses.
For wildlife shots you need something portable and quick to use, as nature does not wait for photo ops. You will need fast shutter speeds for moving targets, (plus you don't really need a tripod if your shutter speed is fast enough, which is nice in the field) Also, a 35mm or equivalent lens is easy to move around with, and would be something you would probably want to invest in.
For image quality this camera will be awesome. It's equipped with a 16.2MP DX-format CMOS sensor and EXPEED 2 image processing, so it wil be able to capture beautiful pictures whether taking action shots or low light. CMOS sensors are great for wildlife and lowlight shots, and offer a wide ISO range (100 to 6400) with reduced noise (thanks to the awesome image processor) which will enable you to shoot at faster shutter speeds and capture nature scenes (and subjects) with little to no blur.
It has continuous shooting at nearly 4 frames/second for those very quick shots where you can't afford to miss any of the action. It also has HD video, just in case!

It was a very tough decision to recommend this camera over Canon ELPH or Nikon Coolpix. Canon and Nikon both make excellent cameras, however, for this specific price point and "travel" question, I think this Panasonic might perform better.
Ok, so the picture quality might be ever-so-slightly less than Canon or Nikon, but each of aforementioned models (Elph and Coolpix, respectively) have one seemingly recurring problem that might not make them suitable for heavy travel.
With the Canon it's durability. I have read many reviews complaining that the lens cover is lousy, and also that the metal (plastic?) surrounding the zoom lens is extremely fragile and will dent very easily, even in your pocket or carry on bag. Other people have experienced lens problems and shutter problems, all stemming from the fact that the material is so flimsy. You can't deal with a delicate camera if you're travelling! Just won't do. Other than this durability thing, I am sure this is a fantastic camera (worth a look if you buy a serious case for it!)
The Nikon is also a fantastic camera, but it's big flaw seems to be battery life. I guess after 150 - 200 pics (and a short video) it's gonna need some more juice, and that's just not acceptable if you are on the road. Other owners have also mentioned durability/build problems with this camera.
Like I said, both are great cameras, just maybe not for the road.
This Panasonic has some nice features. It seems to have a solid build, and definitely has some great battery life (according to many reviews I read). Replacement batteries are expensive though! Like around $60 :(
For some other features, it has Optical Image Stabilization (which will be awesome if you're moving/in a vehicle of some sort), 8x zoom, and Intelligent Exposure Light Detection, which is supposed to help detect problem areas and fix them (like with a bright sky in the background it will purposely under expose a little to get the details on the objects in the foreground).
It also has a bunch of different "scene modes" to choose from, and if you don't know what mode to choose there is a mode that will let the camera decide for you!
I think in general this will be really easy to travel with and take quick, quality photos. Speed is important because you never know what to expect! And especially as far as durability and battery life, I would confidently say this is a god choice.

For multimedia at this price I would say Macbook or this ASUS would be a great choice. You're gonna want something with nice specs all around, especially in the graphics and processor areas. With this ASUS you get an Intel Core i7-2670QM processor which is hella fast (and awesome for multi-tasking), at 2.2 GHz and with Turbo Boost you're up to 3.1 GHz. You'll also be getting NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M graphics with 2GB DDR3 VRAM. It will be fast and visually stunning, and the 15" screen is really pretty generous in size.
As far as other statistics, you can look forward to 8GB DDR3 SDRAM and a 750GB 7200RPM hard drive.
As for sound quality, they describe their integrated sound as such: "Co-developed with the audio experts at Bang & Olufsen ICEpower®, ASUS SonicMaster Technology combines software and hardware for improved clarity, volume, and more detailed sound." I haven't experienced it first-hand, but it darn sure sounds impressive:)
This will definitely fit your multimedia needs, and at just $12 over your budget, I think it's a solid choice!

I almost think this laptop was designed for school specifically... it just seems so perfect for everything school related. It's got everything you would need to be successful at university.... things like great battery life, great connectivity, lots of internal power, lightweight/portable design.... they even advertise it with optional external hard drives and custom fit backpacks for your laptop and schoolwork. Add to all this the excellent price of only $830 (I know, slightly over budget...) and you have a worthy college computer.
For power and speed you'll have yourself an Intel i5 processor, 6GB DDR3 1333MHz (max 8GB), and a 750GB hard drive.
You will have a good sized, 15.6 inch LED backlit monitor with TruBrite TFT display (and NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphics) so your Netflix vids (which you will be able to stream on here) will look fantastic.
Add a bunch of connectivity to the mix (1 USB 3 port for ultra-fast data transfer and 3 USB 2.0 ports) plus HDMI high-definition audio/video output that allows for high-definition video to your compatible digital TV or external monitor, and VGA video output... you've definitely got all you need for a good education (and entertainment) experiences.

I keep hearing great things about Qosmio and wanted to recommend this particular one, as it looks like an absolute monster when it comes to gaming.
First, let me just say that this is a very attractive piece of machinery. I love the look of it externally, and I also like the huge screen, and consequently, huge keyboard. Might take a minute to get used the keyboard actually, because it is larger than your average laptop keyboard, but as a guy with pretty big hands, the extra space is welcome.
As for straight up gaming power, this computer is going to rock your world:
6GB ddr3 (up to 8 if you wanna)
640GB hard drive
Intel Core i7-2630QM processor.... 2.0 GHz up to 2.9 GHz with turbo boost
1080p high-definition 18.4-inch TruBrite display with 1680 x 945res
Full Number pad
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M... for amazing graphics and 3D capabilities (with compatible games)
Awesome gaming computer!

When dealing with digital music I think the most important thing to consider is hard drive size….especially at this price point where you might not get everything you want. I think this is the closest to fitting the bill. You can always, of course, purchase an external hard drive if you need more space. This isn’t to say a fast processor and decent amount of RAM isn’t important, but to me they fall 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
So for a touch over $400, I would recommend this Asus. I think it has some respectable stats on the inside which would make it a good computer for some quality audio editing.
Hard drive being important, it has a 500 gb hard drive, that should be enough to get you started. Additionally, you’re going to get 4 gb DDR3 and a respectable AMD Dual-Core E350 (1.60GHz) processor. The 15.6 inch HD LED backlit screen should help with fine tuning your songs. You also will have yourself Windows Home Premium and an AMD HD 6310 graphics card.
One last thing to mention is that this is a surprisingly attractive computer! It has a sleek, streamlined look.
I think this is a respectable computer for the money. Certainly worth a look.

|
|
|
|
I’m thinking for software development you’re going to need a well rounded, all the bases covered sort of machine. I think this is about as good as you will find at this price point. It has 3 gb DDR3 memory which is expandable to 8 gb, a 320GB serial ATA hard drive, and an AMD Athlon II dual-core processor that runs 2.20GHz. It also offers a 15.6 inch High-Def HP BrightView LED Display (at 1366 x 768), and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 for graphics. Also included is Windows 7 Home Premium Edition. For around $400 this isn’t too bad, however you may want an external hard drive to help with some possible overflow!
Understood you will be doing a lot of typing as a programmer…. You will probably appreciate the ‘chicklet’ style keyboard, as they are easy and comfortable to type on. At least I think so!
One thing to be ready for is an annoying amount of bloatware from HP, something that seems to come standard with their computers. Be ready to do some uninstalling I guess.

Wow I know we have seen this computer suggested a lot on this website, but I just see that as a testament to Apple and its fantastic products. It seems like regardless of the category, Apple has a product that would perfectly suit your needs. Your needs on this particular category would include long battery life, small and lightweight, durable, reliable, and of course general computing power.
So as far as battery life goes, I would have to say Robert has a great suggestion. Add a slice battery and you have really long use time. However, I like the overall features (and usability) of the Macbook. Plus, it will get you a solid 6+ hours which should be enough to get you to your next charging station!
I like the 13" for travel. As long as you're not doing anything too visually intense (hardcore gaming, music editing, video editing) it will be plenty.... at least for me it's plenty. Obviously a smaller screen yields a smaller, lighter computer. It only weighs 4.5 pounds and is less than an inch thick.
Durability shouldn't be an issue. These machines are built very solidly and if you buy a nice solid case for it there won't be any issues.
As far as it kicking butt as a computer: 2.8 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7 processor, 4 GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM, 750GB 5400rpm hard drive, and 1280-by-800 resolution (with an Intel HD Graphics 3000). All good stuff! Very competitive!
I think if battery life is #1 for you (which is understandable) go with Vaio, but if ease of use is #1, go Mac.

Well well well I am glad you asked because I happen to LOVE spicy (and I mean SPIIIICYYYYY) peppers and I believe the hottest pepper in the world right now is the Naga Viper pepper. It has a rating of like 1.3 million Scoville Heat Units (or SHU's...the way they rate spiciness) and it is a whopper of a pepper. To make a comparison, a jalapeno pepper measures between 2,500 and 8,000 SHU's. Dang.

I don't know if you can find a Moroccan Oil or FHI Heat blow dryer for under $100, but they are both awesome products. They are actually the same exact product, sold under 2 different names. It's a professional drier and it is awesome. I think the Moroccan Oil brand is a lot cheaper than FHI Heat (not sure why) but I would check there first.

This is my favorite gaming mouse and it will certainly work well with your macbook pro.
I suggest it for a couple of reasons, first being accuracy. It's quick and precise, so you can focus on fighting your enemies instead of fighting with your equipment. It's very comfortable in my hand, not only the shape of it, but also the actual texture of the mouse. The other cool thing is you can use it as a wireless bluetooth mouse OR connect it directly to your computer and use it as a wired mouse. Really cool mouse. If you plan on doing a lot of gaming your should absolutely consider this.

Here's another nice idea for you. This French design won the 2008 JPMA Innovation Award. It not only blends your baby's food, it also can defrost, warm and steam. So it's an all-in-one station. Great if you need to save a little space in the kitchen!
Hmmm.... I will say the price looks a little steep for what it is....so hopefully it works exceptionally well!

I have a couple great things to say about this little guy, as well as a neg.
First and foremost, it actually sounds really good! It's not really loud, but the sound quality is very nice. I would say surprisingly high audio quality.
Another great thing is that you can buy multiple ones and connect them together to get more sound and a surround sound type thing going on. I also like the small size for portability. Oh and the price is way below your price point.... but size might be below your expectations, too.
My only complaint is that the things are not built very well at all. They are delicate! One would think that a product designed to be super portable would also be super tough, right? Wrong!
Just be careful and I think you will enjoy.

Have ya'll seen that video where the husband and wife are screaming at each other through Siri and Siri is trying her hardest to stay out of the fight and suggesting anger management classes and stuff? Holy crap it's really funny. You gotta look it up. I don't know what it's called.

You should totally read this here article. It's very interesting. He talks about how running with shoes on is actually making your feet weaker, as constricting your feet makes it so they can't perform like they were designed to and therefor won't get stronger. They will actually get weaker because they rely on the shoes for support.

This mouse (well...input device) is amazing...if you're gonna be working for 8+ hours, do yourself a favor and pick one of these up.
Yes, it is definitely expensive, but I think it's worth it.
It's worth it for the control and customizability (is that a word?). The device is highly customizable, and also quite comfortable in the hand, even after hours of use.
Great purchase if you can afford it.

I am assuming you are talking about a home theater soundbar, not like a Jeep soundbar?
I have been considering buying this little combo. I was looking at some more expensive soundbars... they sell 'em up to 7, 8 hundred dollars, which is absurd if you ask me! I just want something that's a step up from my crappy built-in Vizio speakers.
I like that it has a woofer, too. TV speakers are often on the 'tinny' side so the woofer should add a little much needed depth.
From reading some reviews it seems the only issue with this bar is that it is a bit directional, in that you have to be more or less in front of it to get the full sound spectrum. This is great for me because my couch is directly in front of the TV, but might not be ideal for every one.
Sony is a good company for stuff like this. I consider them a good mid-range company for sound systems. Not the best, but really good for the price.
Good luck with your search, hope this helps.

This looks like a good choice, too. Amber Sports makes some good gear...I've used their gloves before but not this particular bag.
I'm sure you know this already, but these freestanding bags don't even compare to the heavy hanging bag. They're always moving around, and you'll have to re-adjust the pad as I'm sure it will move, too.
But I understand your need for a non hanging bag.... unfortunately they're just not as good!

I know it's been out for a coupla years now but I am still a huge fan of this mouse. Maybe it's the comfort level that I like, maybe it just feels natural in my hand at this point.... I don't know, but I never want to use anything else! Super comfortable grip, and programmable. Light, fast, accurate. just great, all they way around.

I would say without hesitation that the Kindle Fire is the best android tablet (or any tablet) for kids. I say this for a few reasons, first of all, price. It is going for $199....an amazing deal. It runs Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, a great OS. Of course your child will have access to literally millions of books, and also lots of games, such as the Amazon Game selection. It also provides security and online content restrictions, as determined by the parents. It's small, light, and easy to use.
As a parent you will also enjoy using it for reading books and browsing the net.
For $200 you can't really beat this deal! Don't waste your money on something real expensive! This is all you need.

This is the one I use and I think it's fast enough, and a decent price, too. Programs start up incredibly fast... even larger ones.
HIghly recommended!

If you really want the best one for the money I would have to recommend a refurbished one... don't be afraid of rebuilt units! Most of the time they work absolutely just as well as new ones, and are definitely a better bargain.... just like a used car. You can get a lot of car for cheap if it's used, even just a little used.
It may not look like much, but under the hood it's a real workhorse! This computer will be really fast and should give you a lot of good use!

You should check out this website with some nice comparisons for 2012 editions:

It looks like Norton is rated pretty well, as Sean suggested. Also look into the AVG Anti-virus 2012... it's FREE! And got really good ratings across the board.

My neighbor actually gave me one of these when he moved, so I got it for free! It's great though. Very useful little table. The legs are height adjustable and the table folds down, so it's good for any couch AND can be stored very easily, without taking up much room. Perfect for lazy days or trying to get some work done on the couch!

I don't own this thing but I have played the game a bit.... I think this keyboard seems pretty legit! A little overpriced if you ask me, but if you're really into Starcraft then it would be perfect...I mean it is designed specifically for Starcraft, so duh.
Seems to be built well, with a rubberized feel, rather than a slick plastic coating. It has buttons specific for starcraft, and also has lights that can be set to light up to warn you when your buildings ar being attacked and stuff. Lots of good reviews...check it out!

Sorry, these are slightly over $100, but they are amazing. I got them as a birthday gift after my wife got sick of hearing me complain about the poor quality of the cheap white earbuds I had. I use my iphone for a lot of music listening, so I really needed something with some nice audio quality. These are perfect for me. They are exceptionally comfortable and the sound is fantastic. They have a little mic and a simple three button remote, too.
I will warn you that they are not the most 'well built' headphones ever. They feel a little delicate, and I wouldn't recommend them for working out in, as they might get busted up. Overall a great product though!

I don't know how serious you are about not losing power to your electronic devices, but this is a pretty nice product for you to consider.... it's an uninterruptible power supply. It great for having a little back up power in case of brownouts or power outages. It will show you how many watts you are using and how much backup battery time you have left. It has 8 plugs and of course surge protection. If you are not looking or something this serious, I think most all surge protectors do the same thing.

For slightly over budget you can get this full HD Vizio.... awesome tv! It will give you 1080p for an absolutely beautiful picture. I have a Vizio and so do my parents. We have both noticed the same thing (different models) with our tvs, and that is the picture quality is excellent but the sound is muffled. So, if you do go with this one I wold strongly suggest hooking it up to some sort of home theater or any speakers, as you will get a much more enjoyable movie watching experience.
These are awesome tvs though! You won't be disappointed!

Bridgestone and Michelin wil be priced better, and they will give you outstanding performance....they are also 2 of the 3 best selling tire companies in the world, along with Goodyear.
Pirelli tires are designed for high-end vehicles, and are generally more responsive but also more expensive.
I think for general use you should go with Bridgestone or Michelin, for the lower price.

This is the one I have been using and let me just say it's one of the best I've found. What makes it better than ones I've had in the past? A couple things. First and foremost, the part that rests on your legs is not I repeat is NOT filled with those awful little balls. It is instead a light, airy mesh material that is cushioned but also somewhat sturdy, i.e. it doesn't form to the shape of your leg, but rather stays somewhat rigid, allowing for air flow. This, in turn, keeps it cool on your legs, which is reason number 2 that I like it. I also like the angle at which the table is - ergonomically it is very comfortable.
In addition to functionality, it looks really nice, which is my final reason for saying you need this stand for bed!

This is the stuff I use, Ryan, and I'm happy with it. Maybe not the most professional looking, only because it's a little thin... but for my casual, household needs it's great - and I like the price.

I like this one because the fiberglass handle is fairly light and very strong. The rake part does very well with leaves, although the spines do bend somewhat easily.
I mostly use it on my lawn so it is not really problem.

I have no hope for my future.
Everyone in my family is either bald or balding, and I know I am next in line. I really want to avoid balding at any cost, so I have tried my fair share of hair treatments - seriously about 4 or 5 different ones.
This one is BY FAR the best one. It's a shampoo, conditioner, then spray on treatment after you shower.
It really works.
It makes my hair much thicker and fuller - I mean noticeably. Almost immediately. My girlfriend was awestruck! I don't think it makes you grow tons of new hair, but it will take what you have and add a lot of volume and thickness, and keep it from falling out. Makes it healthy.
I highly suggest trying this product.
I suggested it to my brother, and he uses it religiously now - i saw him two months ago and his hair was DEFINITELY fuller. Great stuff! try it out!

DOT approved!
I have one of these and it's very accurate. It's wild to see how quickly your BAC rises and slow it falls.
It's a good safety device if you're out having a drink. Sometimes it's hard to tell if you are fit to drive. Not for this machine, though!

I am happy with this printer.
Maybe not the fastest, but pretty fast, at 23 black ppm. Enough for my purposes.
Easy to use, no problems running it, and my prints come out looking clean and professional.
One thing I don't like - this thing BURNS through ink cartridges! Be ready to buy a lot if you have a high volume of printing needs.

Blue Buffalo makes a good one.
This is what I give my cat and she seems to like it.
She is an indoor/outdoor cat, and honestly I don't see him all that often, but when I do he looks healthy and his coat has never been shinier!

This is really the car you need. At only $110, it's slightly over your budget, but the performance you get with this car is just outstanding.
The big selling point should be the proportional steering, meaning you can speed up and slow down depending on how far you move the joystick. Also has proportional left/right which works the same way.
It's 4WD! That is amazing right there and gives it an extra burst of power, as well as helps with steering.
It's so awesome because this thing is incredibly easy to control. Isn't that what you need in a good rc car? That and speed, which this also has.
Your brother will definitely be in love with this present.
|
|
|
|
|
This would be an excellent investment in you own future!
So you have 100 extra dollars right now, but who knows where you'll be financially the nest time you get a speeding ticket?
Avoid that scenario entirely with this thing!.
A true investment in your future!

didn't everyone have these, or at least try these when they were young? they taste like candy. I still like to take them sometimes now as an adult because I like that taste! they are definitely not just for kids!
i like that they are small doses, so that I can eat a few through out the day and not worry about getting too much vitamin a, or whatever.
yum yum yum

I would say anything that's cast iron and a skillet will be about the same quality. This is the one I suggest, but I would think that they are all about the same in terms of performance.

Seems like everyone has a pair of Dr. Dre's new Beats headphones. I see them everywhere! I have a pair because after a little research they seemed like some decent headphones. Pricey though. Anyway, here's my take on them: they are very comfortable and light. They also feel a little bit cheap and plastic. They do a great job at noise canceling... this is my first pair of noise canceling headphones and they are awesome. I have to say I am impressed. The sound is good, especially the low end, as I thought would eb the case.
The bad thing that seems to be a common problem with these headphones is while no sound gets in, lots of sound gets out. Meaning everyone around you can hear your music. But who cares, right? This is about your music listening experience, not theirs. Enjoy the big sound of Dr. Dre's Beats... along with everyone around you!

This should do the trick for you.... I've certainly used it to deal with some nasty household drain issues. it's for like medium or small drain problems... nothing too serious here.
Keep in mind it is a manual auger, so you really have to give it some elbow grease to be effective. Lots of shoving involved....shoving it down the pipes. But yeah it will work for any small drain issues like hair or whatever.

I would have to vote Fender on this one. Fender always makes reliable stuf. This is a great practice amp that they offer. Controls for volume, delay/reverb, bass, treble, gain, and more. You will get a good clean sound on this amp... I know I can at least!
Nothing fancy of course, but you don't need anything fancy, right? Just getting started? This is perfect for you.

These sound good! Surprisingly good for being so darn cheap.
I bought them to listen to tunes as I run, and for that they excel. They stay right in place for the whole run without any adjustments whatsoever.
Sound Quality is aout what you would expect for a set of headphones this price.

This is a beautiful Invicta. My kind of watch right here! I like the way these look and function. I have owned a few in my day. Whenever I am in the market for a new watch, I can't make myself buy a different brand because I am too happy with these!
They are very stylish silver and durable.
This one is medium sized, although slightly larger than I thought after seeing the picture.
It works as good as it looks.

Whatever you do, I would advise against using paper towels and multi purpose cleaners. These will do nothing but harm your tv. Also, don't spray any liquid directly on the screen, it might run down into the unit and do some harm.

I think this is about the best deal you will find on over the ear headphones, Valeree. Actually, this is a hell of a deal on these Sennheisers. This company also makes some extremely high quality audio equipment, so you can be sure their lower priced units will be held to certain standard, too.
These are very lightweight and rest very gently on your head and over your ear. They don't have a lot of inward pressure, but they manage to stay put very well.
As far as sound quality, they are GREAT for the price, but only decent when compared to higher priced models. They don't get very loud, which is my only complaint with them, but the sound is full and rich, and for now they are fantastic!

Wow I certainly don't think 'ripping' them out of their home is appropriate for ANY child, but some measures must be taken for the child's own well being, or they will live a difficult life and possibly even die at a young age.
More important than taking the child away is educating the parents. If the child is obese, there's a good possibility that it's because the parents are negligent and simply don't know how to raise/feed their children. They need to be educated so they can teach their children healthy lifestyle choices.
It's so sad...most of the time when these types of problems occur it's the parents fault and the child didn't even stand a chance to begin with.

I think this would be perfect for you. It's really small and really lightweight. Holds 320gb. Compatible with macs or windows.
It's not the fastest one ever, but that doesn't really bother me with an external hard drive. I'm more concerned with performance and portability, and in those two categories it excels.

Here you go Drew this is a great case for you to consider. It will fit your computer and makes traveling with it a lot easier. Messenger style bag, ample space for cords and extras. Plenty of padding to make me feel like my laptop is safe and secure. I definitely recommend this one to you!

This is the perfect-and I mean PERFECT-board for you. If you are a beginner you certainly don't need to waste your money on a real surf board (not that this one isn't real... I should say a normal surfboard).
This will give you the performance you need without breaking the bank. Because it's made of foam it can be big and not too heavy, so as a beginner it will be easier to A) transport, and B) control in the water.
Bigger surface area=easier to stand on.
A great beginner or advanced board. I suggest it very highly.

I had to pay about a thousand dollars for this thing, but to me it was worth it. I had it installed on my ceiling so it is completely out of the way.
The image is very clear for a projector. Big and clear.
Besides the install I did it's basically a plug and play type thing. And if you have white walls you can play it right on there and it will look stunning.
Really good projector... you certainly get what you pay for.

This alarm clock/docking station is wonderfully simple and does everything I could ever want it to do...except make me coffee in the morning (that would be cool). It's just what I wanted, mostly because it is simple and easy to use.
I didn't know what kind of sound quality to expect because I ordered it online, but it turned out to be AWESOME!!!! Big, rich full sounds... almost Bose-esque.
I like all the alarm features... you can set up it up for different wake times for different days, so all you have to do is turn it off in the morning.
It also has a remote, which is convenient. At first I was like,'why would i need a remote for a unit right next to my bed?' but I listen to music when I get ready and stuff and the remote is very handy.
I love this thing! You gotta look into it.

It's truly amazing what we technology has come to where we can watch 3D movies in our house on our own television set. Who could ever have imagined that 40 years ago?
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the 3D aspect of this TV actually does work, and it is really quite amazing. You put on the glasses and the picture pops out at you in full HD quality.
Super cool!!! I wish I could watch football games in 3D.
The image is very clear. The screen it self is narrower than I imagined, and it's a miracle they can fit everything they need to make it work into such a small area.
Also it's a lot heavier than I had anticipated.
Overall I am overwhelmingly satisfied with it and recommend it highly.
Oh and I also wanted to add that I haven't had any problems with 'ghosting', as of yet. I read a few articles here and there that mentioned it could be a problem with 3D TV's but as of yet I am happy to report minimal problems.

Hey I don't know if you've ever used an Acer but these are really nice computers. Reliable, fast and small, it's perfect for my home office situation. Has 4gb RAM, upgradable to 8, and a pentium dual core processor. Comes with windows 7 too.
Great value...a lot of computer for your money.

My girlfriend has this stool, actually she uses it for cutting hair (I get lots of free haircuts in it) but I think it would be an excellent stool for a standing desk. The only neg. is that it doesn't have wheels, but I would imagine at a standing desk that wouldn't be an issue, because if you need to go somewhere it's no problem because you are already standing!
but it is a nice chair. Sturdy enough, as long as you aren't superbly over weight... it might break under high weight situations!
it is comfortable to sit in. nicely cushioned. it is height adjustable, so you will have no problem finding the right height for your desk.
also, it's shaped nicely in the front so you can hang off the front, half standing on the floor and half sitting on the stool... if you follow me. very comfortable desk situation.
this is a good chair and I recommend it without hesitation.

These are awesome for quick oven maneuvers like pulling out the cookie sheet or hot potatoes. Watch out...they work pretty well and I prefer them to a mitt for dexterity reasons but some heat will get through, so you have to be fairly quick!

This is a gorgeous boot! I recently purchased these bad boys for similar reasons as you. They are casual enough but can certainly be dressed up to look very fancy. They are leather so they will provide a nice barrier against the elements, although they are not completely water proof.
I find it is really tough to find anything that is both waterproof AND attractive, so I usually go with the latter.
These truly are some beauties and I can't recommend them highly enough.
Steve Madden makes a great product! A trusted name in footwear... and I know because my girlfriend used to work and DSW (designer shoe warehouse) and always told me to buy Steve Maddens because they are high quality.

This is a terrific product for reducing joint pain! Definitely helped me a lot with my knee joints, and I can tell you why I believe in it and like this company: they don't try to trick you by claiming their product is superior because there's shark cartilage in the pills.
They DO NOT use shark cartilage in these, and I appreciate that because I know it has never been proven to help with joint strength! Other companies try to trick you into buying their stuff because they claim their outrageous ingredients will help you (and I admit it sounds convincing!) but in this case it doesn't.
This will help you relieve joint pain, so definitely check it out!

This is a great looking shoe with a beautiful bicycle toe to make it dashing and sophisticated.
They are leather and have leather linings and are a pleasure to slip on to my feet every time, with or without socks.
The longer toe makes for a more fashion forward look that I appreciate.
A very handsome slip on that you gotta try on!

This is a great product. It's just a little light duty day pack like you can see in the picture, but it folds up and stores in an even smaller sac that comes with it! Awesome idea and perfect for taking on vacation because it hardly takes up any room and I use it on all my day trips.

I don't know if these were created for mere entertainment or just because someone REALLY wanted those bugs in their house to suffer...
What ever the reason, this swatter really does a great job at neutralizing any airborne insect that you deem a threat, and it's awesome because they basically explode when you zap them so have fun and try not to breath in the roasting bug fumes;)

I used this for my last sprained ankle from when I was trying to go Reynaldo all over everyone's ass. I learned my lesson. I'm no Reynaldo.
I also learned that this is a great ankle support. Tightens up real tight and holds your ankle in place while maintaining some comfort as well. I found it to help relieve a lot of pressure for my injury!

I think this stuff works really well and I've only ever seen a couple fleas get by it's powerful defenses in the many years I've used it on my pups. A great defense for walks in dense brush and foliage, especially during those particularly bad flea seasons.
Can also be used on furniture and stuff... any places that ticks and fleas like to hang out.

This is an absolutely incredible story that follows American naval soldiers through two major battles in the Pacific theater in which they were severely outmatched but managed to use their strength and courage to muster up enough gusto to defeat their Japanese counterparts. Also takes the time to profile the Japanese commanders and their side of it.
The aftermath is particularly memorable and heartbreaking as they fight to stay alive in rafts on the open sea as their fellow soldiers struggle to survive and die off around them.
An amazing example of the hell our soldiers go through to keep this country free.

This is a great book that will help you become aware of the triggers and symptoms of common allergies, as well as help you treat them yourself.
It's good to have a deep understanding of why you are having the reactions if you want to be able to take control of it.
I've had allergies my whole life, and this book helped me battle them in a more knowledgeable and effective way.

To me the obvious big selling point is that you don't have to change any filters. It's really hard for me to remember to do that sort of thing with all the other things going on in my life.
It has a washable pre filter, which you should take out and clean up periodically... and for some reason I don't mind doing this, but changing a filter is so hard for me... maybe because I would have to go buy one and I hate that. Anyways it works fantastically and is only slightly loud, as if you had a fan on oh, say, a medium setting.
I really have noticed less sneezing, especially in the morning which is when it hits me worst, so I believe it is doing its job very well.

I am by no means a pro at playing the tambourine, but I do dabble in music and play in a little band. I bought this because we desperately needed a tambourine for this song we were playing, and this one looked the most professional! It's awesome, and the fact that it has a tunable head is really cool. It comes with a tuning key and you can adjust each tuning pin to change the pitch if you so desire.
The head on it gives this tambourine a completely different sound than the type with no head... less rock and roll, more world music. Sounds awesome...we're stoked about the sound!!

carhartt makes real heavy, thick, warm, real man type clothes. industrial strength, I like to say. this will definitely keep you arm... almost like a jacket in itself. flannel is an excellent material for warmth and comfort. go with carhartt. there' no way you won't be impressed.

Butter-soft deerskin leather. Need I say more?
No, but I will. I love these gloves. They are a perfect balance of style and warmth, which I believe is what you are looking for.
Keep in mind that you simply won't find a fashion glove that's anywhere near as warm as a winter glove. But these will keep your hands warm as you drive to work, or hop on the train, or do whatever it is that you need to do.... just don't be having snowball fights with them or anything!
Great gloves, I am sure you will be pleased with them.

I would say this is a traditional style barstool. I like that about it. Simple but elegant. A very stylish stool. I like the dark cherry finish.
There is some assembly required with these guys but it's nothing difficult... I would say I had them together in as little as 10, 15 minutes.
Vinyl coating on the padding makes them a little more resilient than your average stool. I love them. You will too!

i would most definitely recommend a 2012 Honda Accord. I think if you limit your features you can definitely keep it under 25 grand.
it's a wonderful family car for a few reasons. it receives top notch safety reviews year after year. the cabin has been redesigned for more space for the driver and passengers, and I think you will find the captains chair pleasantly spacious and comfortable.
the 4 cylinder gets about 25 mpg, the 6 around 21, which isn't super impressive, but it's not bad for a non hybrid.
I know it's not the most american thing to suggest a honda, but geez it's a great vehicle. if you need economical and reliable, accord is where it's at.

I like my subscription to Esquire. It has good fashion tips but also lots of good lifestyle tips for today's modern gentleman. Lots of good pictures.
i don't know about you, but I certainly don't want to read a whole magazine on fashion, cover to cover. This will mix it up a bit for you.
they have great fashion tips, and best of all it's always up to date, so you'll never feel out of touch!

This is a great set of trucks. They sit a little higher than I'm used to but for this reason they give me way more turning flexibility.
Not ideal for downhill or high speeds, as they do wobble a little. Great for carving, though. I absolutely love them for navigating my way to class.

I love that this is a smoke alarm/CO2 warning system, all in one. It is very easy to install. It actually has a voice warning system that tells you if the alarm is for smoke or CO2, and even tells you when the battery is going dead.
The battery is of course just there for back up incase your power goes out, when there high risk of danger.
Great hard wired system!

ok so I haven't read it personally but my bud did and said it's pretty interesting. deals a lot with your general brain health and assumes that the healthier your brain, the more effectively it works. so it attempts go get you to run your brain at its optimum performance level.
but you still gotta do some reading/learning on your own!

in my humble opinion this is the ideal game for a wii, in fact all shooter games (especially zombie games) should be on wii, because it just makes sense! you point the remote and aim it at the tv, just like it should be, instead of fiddling around with a joystick or something. it's awesome.
the only thing is that to compensate for the fact that it's MUCH easier to aim at the zombies, they have made them move much faster! so be alert because it can be tricky, although in general it's easier than other versions of the game. also more fun.

i wish this thing was higher quality because then it woud be the best buckle ever. it looks really cool and i get so many compliments on it! but it isn't made all that well... sort of cheap metal, and it actually bends pretty easily.
also, it's not all that comfortable, but I expected that given the shape and size (it's about real size!)
looks great though! people love it.

too soon? it might be too soon. my wife wore this last year though and it was awesome! looks just like her.
as with all of these party wigs, it's not the highest quality, but it's only designed for costume use so that should be expected.
the huge bump is a little bit lopsided so good luck making it stay in place...that was the only issue we had. once we figured it out though it was smooth sailing. lot's of fun and everyone knew exactly who she was!

This is a helluva warm winter boot from a helluva company. I love Sorel boots and have relied on them for years to keep my feet warm in the rough New York winters. This is my favorite pair to date in terms of comfort and durability. They are also very warm and water resistant as well.
They have great traction and great support around your foot. When you put them on you know they will keep your feet warm and dry.
Great for nasty, cold, awful weather. It will give your feet a little hope!

This wine is going to be right up in the 20 dollar region, but it's worth the price! The taste is fantastic, and it feels wonderful in my mouth.
My new favorite wine. I'm always on the lookout for tasty cheap wines! I'll let you know if I hear of any other good ones.

These are amazing they take undies to the net level. Forget about hanes... you haven't lived until you've tried these!!!
They seem to small to put on at first because they are stretchy. As you pull them up you will see how amazingly light and stretchy the material is and how it just tightens up real nice around you.
Most comfortable underwear I've ever owned!

this may be on the pricey side, but this is like the ultimate couple's gift! imagine how fun it would be to zip around town on one of these with your sweetheart! fun fun fun.

i remember getting one of these from my unce when i was like 13, 14 years old. he got it for the whole family for christmas and we all went out on christmas day and went sledding together for HOURS! it is to this day one of the fondest christmas memories i have! so much fun. family bonding to the max.
like i said, i remember it to this day, so i'm sure you will have a similar lasting impression.

these are pretty awesome! i use them now instead of coffee in the morning because I guess I just got sick of coffee!
they are surprisingly uplifting! I only drink half at first then the rest about and hour later... a more reasonable 'high' that way. less jittery. if i drink a whole one i get jittery and my face flushes!
the seriously do the trick though. you will notice a difference in brain activity!

this is a very cool skate. just got mine at the beginning of the summer. surprisingly comfortable fit.... almost feels like a nice pair of boots. superbly comfortable ride for this reason.

this little sleeve here is all i ever need for my travel needs. either my laptop is in my house or being carried somewhere in this thing. it is made of a very cushiony neoprene material and I feel like it absolutely protects my computer adequately. i take my laptop on the plane with me all the time and all i need is this sleeve. i can fit the power cord and headphones in it no problem. That's all i need! love it.

I would definitely recommend a lightweight long sleeve light colored button up for hiking. it's the perfect hiking shirt if you ask me, for many different reasons.
the long sleeves are good for sun protection. long as it's a light cotton material and a light color it will reflect sun and keep you at a reasonable temperature. if you get way too hot, take the shirt off and make a turban out of it.
this shirt is the ultimate in temperature regulation. roll the sleeves up or down depending on how hot you are. unbutton a few buttons or button it up. do what ever you need to do to stay comfortable.
think about bear grylls or whatever his name is. you always see him in somehting like this!
cotton is a must! lightest and most breathable material, and easy to care for.

I assume you're talking about American IPA's? they tend to be very hoppy and middle range to high alcohol content... that's why I love IPAs... definitely my favorite type of beer. I'm the same, always looking for a good one.
Overboard IPA from Hawaii got rated Best American IPA in the 2011 open beer championship. So I had to try it and it's a BOMB IPPA. Lots of intense hops. Lots of flavor. I am a huge fan now! One of the best I've had.
I've never had Bell's IPA. I've heard of them but never had the IPA... this I will have to try sometime.

i'm not into twitter.... I think it gets sorta boring. I wanna see picture albums and stuff.
i like the idea of google plus, and i hope facebook takes on a similar system, where you can choose your circles of friends and who you share things with.
One big advantage of twitter for me is i can share things with my friends that i don't want my grandma or boss to see.

BUY THESE! THEY'RE AWESOME!!!!
cutters are the best if you ask me. they're less bulky than some other gloves... just a simple, effective, streamlined, snug glove. I like the simplicity of the design and how it feels on my hands. they stay on well and perform in just about any condition.
definitely my glove of choice for years back and years to come.

I would say this is a superior system for bed lining, as compared to the spray on or paint on version. It protects your bed just as well as the spray ons but isn't as permanent or labor intensive.
If you're going to get it sprayed I would definitely recommend a professional application like rhino lining. You will get much better results.
This thing is so easy to put in there and it does a great job and padding/protecting the bed and the things I put in it.
Obviously there's no protection on the walls, so if that's important to you go ahead and spray it or paint it. I just think it's kind of risky... you first have to sand you bed! I can't come to do that to my nice new truck, so this mat works great.
as long as you buy for the right vehicle it will fit perfectly.
|
|
|

this thing is obviously somewhat military in its look, and let me tell you it is tough like a military bag should be.
it's awesome. i love this bag... it's super heavy duty. tough materials. easy to pack, easy to carry around. what else could i ask for?

I think these are pretty cool. I love the 5 spoke design and the black on silver. I also like the rivets going around it. At this price I feel like quality could be an issue down the road, but you'll get a good couple of years out of it.

I love old friends! I think these and Minnetonkas are equally amazing and both companies make equally soft and plush yet durable shoes. You slide your foot in there and its seriously the softest thing you've ever felt.
So soft!! So comfortable.
Just look at those pics and you'll be sold.

This stuff works pretty well if you follow the directions right. It really only works for smaller sized scratches, but it will conceal them, or at least make them less noticeable.

This is nice for parking in the city (especially NY where people are not afraid to bump your car a little to make theirs fit) and also helps for youngsters learning how to park. It didn't matter to me when I had the crappy car and was bumping other people's nice cars, but now that I have a new car the tides have turned, and nobody better touch my car!!!!
It's awesome.... just hangs out in your trunk and you just flip it out over the side when you want to use it. Great product...who knows how many bumps and scrapes this will get you out of!?
|
|
|
|
|
This coat is bomb! Rugged and outdoorsy, and warm as hell. You will look cool in this jacket.(actually you will look very warm!!)
It's wind proof and warm until the super cold temps hit... then you might need a couple more layers. fall, spring... this thing is perfect.

Don't look any farther, this belt is awesome. It stretches a little bit plus you can make it ANY length you need because there are no holes, you just buckle wherever you want to. Actually, that's what drew me to the belt originally, then I found out it was stretchy and I was like, 'SOLD!"
I like that it's a woven cloth belt that doesn't look like a cargo short belt. It's actually somewhat professional looking.
Awesome..... it's my fave belt.

I would suggest Oil Eater. It's great because it's a non-caustic product that is also biodegradable. This makes me feel a little better about using this stuff outside and washing it down the gutter.
This isn't the most powerful cleaner out there, but it's the best non-caustic one I've found.
|
|

|
|
Well, there are lots of different types of bags out there, but I'm going to go ahead and suggest this one, because I own one and it's fabulous.
I like the messenger bag style because I think it is the most versatile in terms of look and function. It can be dressed up or down to be worn to various events. Looks perfectly at home on the shoulder of a man in a suit in an office or slung over the shoulder of a guy on a bike wearing shorts and a tee.
You can fill it with all of your important work documents and books or fill it with a change of clothes an zip on over to the beach.
Mmmm versatility.
This particular bag is quite attractive leather (although, I will say, not the highest quality I've seen.... but not bad either) and has an easy and effective button snap to hold the flap closed.
My one complaint with the bag is that the strap has no padding on it, so heavy loads can get quite uncomfortable after a while.
Other than that this thing is a real winner.

WICKED NICE HEADPHONES FROM DR. DRE!
I am definitely a big fan of good headphones, and have tried/owned a few different varieties. These are, in my estimation, the best as far as SOUND QUALITY goes.
They were designed to give the listener the ultimate studio experience. What I mean by this is that a lot of the cool effects and techniques they use in the studio to make songs sound radical are lost to the listener due to cheap listening equipment, in the form of speakers or headphones.
I guess Dr. Dre realized this and wanted to provide the public with the same quality phones they use in the studio, so everyone could experience the music they way it was designed to be heard.
They've done a great job with this product, and like I said the sound quality is exceptional...some of the best I've heard.
Nice rich lows, balanced well with mids and highs that aren't 'tinny'.
The only downfalls to these phones are 1)comfort and 2) noise canceling.
They're not horribly uncomfortable, but after a CD's worth of music you're going to want a break from them on your head. Just a little tight.
Also, the noise canceling works pretty well - not bad at all. I'm just used to Bose which by far has the best noise canceling technology in the business.
However, these Beats headphones produce a much higher sound quality, and that is why I think they are the best. I buy headphones for top notch sound quality, and Beats delivers. Highly recommended!

best bug/tar cleaner out there. specifically designed for dirt and bugs!
I don't know why they only market it for rv's, because it obviously works the same on all automobiles. my only though is maybe they give you a bigger bottle because rv's are bigger and have more square footage to clean. if that's the case, awesome! i'll take more product.
it works really well for me, for any sort of bug, dirt, or tar sticking to my grill or exterior.

This is a very classy bag that's perfect for business trips and interviews. Easily fits two suits and two pairs of shoes. Show up in mad style with completely non-wrinkled suits. What else could you need?
I like the rolling garment bag. Way easier to tote around the airport and cities, especially after a long days travel.

If you're a member of Cost Co the Kirkland brand car battery is rated among the best, even when compared to high end, more expensive batteries. Don't think that just because it's so inexpensive it is also crappy!
These are great batteries, and they excel even in really cold weather starts... which is why I buy them. Winter can make batteries unreliable, but not these batts. They'll power through more winters that you can even imagine.

Anything by gold toe will be high quality and stay up well. I happen to like their argyle sock, but they have many more options available, too.

I think this is a very adult looking sleek as heck bag. Fits my 17" laptop and my books and stuff no problem. Cushioned straps help deal with heavy loads. Tons of room for everything you could ever need.
Right away you will see it's quality and be happy with your purchase!

|
The real thing is way more polished and shiny than the picture illustrates, but you can at least see the cool shape. It's slanted, too.
I love this tip, it really adds a lot to my car and looks 1000X better than what I had before. It's resonated, which means it's supposed to make your exhaust sound louder. This kind of works I guess.... not super noticeable, but there's a difference. I mostly like it because of its looks, though. Very cool looking. Easy to attach, too.

This is a great looking sunglass from a great company in optics. I love the square rims and the tortoise shell look is classic. Nice thick legs on it, too.
Very fashionable and not at all aviator.

You won't believe how freakin soft and warm these mittens are, almost too good to be true. But not quite because they are true! Expensive, though.
made with 100% pure shearling, these are designed for ridiculously cold conditions and your hand will feel warm even in negative temperatures.
The inside lining is incredibly soft, and they cinch closed on the sides. Great Mitten for extreme conditions.

I felt better knowing my daughter had one of these in her car when she first started driving around by herself. It's not much, but it is nice to have around and who knows? maybe she'll use it to save somebodies life or something!

This will work for you. This is a very solid tow hitch, ball mounted. Easy to install and remove (5/8" pin holds it in place NO problem). It won't go anywhere.
A word to the wise, though: in my previous vehicle I made the mistake of leaving the hitch in the mount year round and it ended up rusting itself in there...permanently! I couldn't ever get it out and I'm sure it's still in there today. Remove when not in use!

This is the greatest invention of all time. THE BEARDSKI.
ok, so not only is it awesome and hilarious and suuuuper funny looking, but it's actually functional and warmer than any other mask I've worn. You will have to combine it with a warm hat, but it's worth it to see people's reactions!! The beard actually acts as a wind barrier and extra layer of protection on the slopes.
I consider this a necessary part of my ski wardrobe these days. I can't wait to pull it out again this winter!
Also, they have more designs, like a prospector beardski and others. So fun, you have to get one.
|
|
|

|
I like this partition a lot. It works just like I want it to... creates a barrier without restricting my vision as the driver. It was very easy to put up in my car due to the fact that it is adjustable. It went right in there.... took maybe 5 minutes.
I will complain a little bit about the material quality. It works...get's the job done. It does feel kind of cheap, though. Looks ok, feels cheap. If it got roughed up too much it might just fall apart. Maybe just try to be gentle with it! Try telling that to your dog!

|
|
|
|
I would say this is your best bet for a nice men's belt. It's perfect because it has an attractive buckle and is reversible, so he'll never be caught without the right belt.
This is for real the only type of belt I buy because it's the only one I need! Every man should have one of these around.
|
|
|
|
|
This is a great boot right here. It's really more of a western boot than a cowboy boot... but I happen to like that about it. It has that square toe, which is a more attractive look than the pointy toe, if you ask me.
I like cowboy boots but I always feel funny wearing them with that long pointy toe, and I find it weird to walk around like that.
That's where these boots come in. They are the perfect alternative to the average cowboot. The square toe gives it the look of a work boot, but it has the appeal and attitude of a cowboy boot.
The upper is a beautiful, tough leather, and the sole is a super durable rubber type thing. great boot.... I use them for work, could also be used for play!

This is generally regarded as a top notch oil filter. As always, make sure it will fit your vehicle before you buy it (amazon will tell you if it will fit). It's a superior product (compared to Fram, especially) because it not only cleans more contaminants from your engine, but it also is able to store far more contaminants than the competitors' filters, so they're not floating free in your engine.
It is built well all the way around. You will get more performance out of this than anything else!
However...... it's also more expensive! worth it though if you really care about your car.
|
|
|
|
|
i think armorall makes a superior product all the way around the board. i use this leather protectant on my car seats after a deep clean and it definitely leaves the looking rich and softer than before. there is a noticeable difference in the leather... there does appear to be some sort of protectant seal on there when you're done (after a couple of coats) but don't worry it doesn't get greasy or anything. great for sunlight protection, as well. it seals in all the good stuff and blocks out the bad. like sunscreen for our seat:)
|
|
|
|
|
I would certainly recommend cleaning your glass very well before trying to put any sort of protectant on it. Definitely at least try to get rid of those water stains and spots. This stuff works very well for bringing a gorgeous shine to your whole windshield, and you will notice the difference immediately.

I like this little unit a lot! it works great for me. Plugs into cigarette lighter, looks great, very sleek, way better than the belkin i used to have. super easy to use, of course, because it really only does one thing - transmit radio signals! The sound quality from this little thing is great! I was actually a little surprised. I expected to hear lots of static and disturbances, but no! Sound came through nice and clear. I am very pleased with my Coby. Be warned - there is no power switch, so you gotta unplug it if you don't want it sucking all the juice from that battery of yours!

this company is great:
http://www.customeuropeanplates.com/
i ordered a new german plate from them for my bmw. i recommend them because they actually use the same materials that are used for government licence plates in europe. they are also made in germany! awesome product, you will love it.

|
I like this one for its simplicity. I, personally, like the look of copper, so this is right up my ally. I would say it improves my game and mood in general in some way or another. Maybe all the hype about these things got to my head or something.... I don't care, though! I like it!

|
This is a super solid bike rack...the only way to transport a bike if you ask me. Attaches directly into your trailer hitch. Stays put unless you move it. Easily fits 4 bikes, safely and securely.
Folds down, too. Highly recommended!
|
|
|
|
|
I recommend this jacket without any reservations. It's a glorious leather jacket for biking. Almost too heavy and thick, and that's the way I like 'em.
Zippers work nice and smooth. Feels good to wear, comfortable inner lining and also it's cut rather well.
But the best part is the thickness. You will feel safe and secure in this jacket. Don't compromise with your riding jacket - you need something as tough as the pavement.

Awesome awesome awesome if you're into golf like me. Such a cool idea! I got this as a gift and was thrilled! Still am!
Easy to attach. looks great... durable, too. die cast metal frame.
Such a clever design.

I had great luck with this stuff. When I was done I felt like my car ran smoother in general and felt 'healthier' for a lack of better term. This kit cleans deep in the recesses of your car, in places that you don't even know exist!
It's like using mouthwash for your teeth.
Fairly simple procedure, although it helps to have some mechanical knowledge. Mostly involves adding solution or spraying something and wiping it off.
Directions are easy to follow and there' even a DVD that comes with it.
For $35 bucks it a great investment and will definitely help clean up your engine, even if you don't really notice it.

I love how this hoodie looks and feels. It's got the typical, soft fleece-like material inside that feels suuuper soft until you wash it.
I like that it zips up the front. This may sound silly, but I hate hoodies that don't zip like this because it's impossible to put on/take off without ruining my hair!
I don't care if it sounds lame, I need my 'do' to stay put.
Perfect hoodie for me as far as functionality and style.

This is the one you need right here. Does everything you could ever need, great radio. 40 channels. Only complaint is it could be a little louder. Sometimes when the windows are down it can be hard to hear it. Other than that it's awesome.

This is a must have for electricians and car mechanics. Also good for people that play instruments like bass that you don't want to scratch. Very attractive, functional belt.

i would say it's as accurate if not more accurate than your car's speedometer, for one simple reason: it's a third party object, taking an unbiased distance/time measurement.
your car's speedometer, however, is directly connected to your engine and can be affected by wear and tear just like anything else can.
go with the gps for sure.

i find this to be a very useful chrome cleaner for me - i like that it's in a spray bottle because it's super easy to apply. i find that it works much better when you put a little effort into it and scrub with a sponge, but you can just spray it on and rinse and you'll probably see a difference. you gotta work for better results, though.

Alright this isn't the right model for you - I think you need part # MC-020-99. You can find it on this website:
http://racingairfilters.eu/?ids=kop3/sub4
These are fantastic, high performance vehicle air filters that deliver low noise and high output performance for your bike.
The thing that's so great about this is filter is it delivers an equal amount of air to your inlets regardless of speed or wind. I don't know of any other filter sthat do that, although I'm sure they're out there.

It is tough but possible. You gotta get your vehicle elevated if you want a thorough wash. Either use a high quality jack or some auto ramps, and try to get your car at least like a foot higher, if you can.
I wouldn't personally recommend crawling underneath it, so you're going to need some sort of long brush.
First, rinse with high pressure hose.
Next, apply cleaning solution with brush. Some undercarriage specific cleaner will be ideal. Spray it on there or brush as well as you can, keeping in mind the car is elevated and shouldn't be nudged to hard!
Rinse it off, and repeat soaping where necessary.
This is a tough job. Be careful and also patient!
|
|
|
|
|
I would say any engine cleaner would do a good job. It's a good idea to try to brush all the loose debris off of there, give it a little brush down prior to soaking. Get rid of all that unnecessary extra crap.
Let the cleaner sit for a few minutes...it will continue to eat away at grime for a few minutes, so don't interrupt it!

In general they are just about the same exact thing. The big difference is that with an AWD you're not going to get that 4Low setting which is so crucial to off road driving. AWD is like a more passive version of 4WD.
I would suggest something with 2WD and the option of 4WD. Way more versatile and can really get down and dirty if you need it to.
I find that AWD and full time 4WD are unnecessary about 75% of the time, so i like the ability to switch between them at my discretion.

jordan's definitely right about considering all those factors... this will certainly determine what type of tire is best for you. i think BFG AT's are fantastic all terrain tires, though. i had some on my jeep a while and they were freakin awesome. handled great on the road and off it, perfect for my medium intensity romping adventures. they aren't the best for gas mileage, but i challenge you to show me one that increases gas mileage... just doesn't happen.

You can buy a pretty nice car emergency kit online and in some stores. Get one with a first aid kit, flashlight, whistle, jumper cables, etc. Nice to have around. Blanket is a good idea for the winter time for sure.

If you ask me, this is the pinnacle of lightweight hiking shoe engineering. It is the culmination of decades of shoe design knowledge and is unsurpassed it it's comfort and functionality. Amazingly supportive yet flexible and really light. Grips the trail or pavement like glue. Also very attractive.

I've definitely always been a Henckels type guy.... been working as a chef most of my life in the Chicago area. Their Classic Cutlery set is amazing. So is this set, and basically anything they make. Very strong, perfectly weighted, carbon no-stain steel that's hand honed to perfection. Great knives!
At the most basic level, they just feel the best in my hands... from the grip to the weight of it. Great looking block comes with it, too!

I think this is the ultimate men's fashion boot. It's rugged enough to be considered 'manly' but sophisticated enough to be considered a fashion boot. It has a big solid sole and durable material throughout.... although all man made. Sorry no leather here.
Steve Madden consistently makes great products throughout the years, so this boot will be no exception.
What I really like about these boots is the versatility. I am equally comfortable wearing these in the city at a nice bar or in the woods at a cabin with my friends around a campfire. Great shoe... highly suggested by ME!

Hydraulic jacks are probably the easiest to use all the way around. They're a little more expensive than scissor jacks, but worth it for a far superior product.

I would use a razor blade. Just make sure it's straight and sharp because a bent one will destroy your glass like whoa. Really annoying though - ton's of flakes will go everywhere. Do it someplace that can handle a mess.

Check out the PIAA super silicones. amazing silicone blades. no sound, no streaks. I think they're the best on the market, personally, especially for streaking. The silicone rubs off, onto the windshield adding a layer of streak free protection. check it out!

Yeah I agree with Ryan above. If you have one you should leave it on. Might as well protect it from the elements. I mean, I realize the other tires on your car are never cover and they do fine, but they have to be replaced somewhat consistently. Your spare is there for emergencies, and when you have an emergency you want your equipment to work like it's supposed to.
You can get a really cool jack mount for the back exterior, too. Looks awesome and gets that jack out of your interior, which I know is small.

I think you should definitely be looking at an all-terrain tire, rather than an all-purpose tire. All-purpose are ok for snow and rain and pavement, but are much less practical in off-road situations. An all-terrain tire is going to have a slightly larger, more wide set tread which is much better suited for off-roading. It will give you more aggressive off-road handling capabilities but still ride smooth and soft on pavement.

Actually I would say the amp quality is more important than the subwoofer quality. You can make a crap woofer sound decent if you have a solid, high powered amp. If you don't buy a good amp it won't be able to put enough power through the woofers. Even if you have a really nice subwoofer and a crappy amp you will get bad results.

I would want a watch but it would have to be a really cool one.... made of titanium or something with a big, simple face and probably a leather band. I feel like sunglasses are cool but you can get a great pair for 20 bucks, and that's really all I need.
A good watch, though... that's something special. You can feel the quality, the weight. Very nice.

I just wanna say man any leak in your radiator is a big deal and you should probably take it in to be looked at. Stop Leak is a good product, but like harry said, it's temporary and you'll have to get it fixed for real eventually. Having a leaky radiator is dangerous. High pressure in the radiator means the coolant will be squirting out of the hole at a pretty high rate. Now, there's a bunch of electronics under that hood (like a massive battery) that really don't need radiator fluid all over them.
I would take it in asap!
|
|
|

I would say this completely depends on your car situation. If you have a small car it's probably also lightweight and has less space for storage. In this situation I would definitely recommend a scissor jack. They are pretty small so you can keep them in the trunk and completely out of the way. They also tend to be easier to use and faster to raise up than a bottle jack.
However, if you have a truck or suv or anything seriously heavy, a bottle jack might be for you. Some of these things can lift like 20,000 pounds or more.
I would say first you should check the weight of your vehicle if you can and see if there is a scissor jack rated at being able to lift the weight. If not, go with a bottle.

Dude if you get a big, solid, high quality sub in there you will be able to hear it from down the block, so don't worry 'bout a thing.

Once you get into the 300 dollar price range you start to see some really great stuff. This is a fantastic radar detector from cobra also looks great in my car.
It covers all 15 bands used by law enforcement. Has a 1.5" touch screen with easy navigation and is a slightly more informative display than usual. Also has an 8 point digital compas, voice alert and of course a VG-2 cloaking device. I also like that it shows me relatively the proximity of my target.
It's kind of big and obvious, so if you are worried about cops seeing it, you may want to look elsewhere. But it does a hell of a job detecting, usually before I do. On the flipside, it does seem to beep an awful lot, and doesn't seen to have a very good false alarm filter system. This is very annoying is busy areas, but the overall effectiveness is so good I try not to complain too much.
|
|
|
|
|
I think Cobra makes a great detector. Over all not too many false alarms. It is a 12 band detector that covers basically every band used my law enforcement today. Also has safety alerts to let you know about emergency vehicles and such... makes you feel a little more responsible!
I really like the 8 point electronic compass, it helps me get around. I really appreciate the new tones they have chosen for the warning beeps! They are much less abrasive than units I have owned previously. Works great over all.... very happy with it!

These are super cool - the newest addition to my large assortment of biking gear. I got them because they are aesthetically pleasing and I always want to look as cool as possible when I ride :)
They only come with clear lenses which is kind of a bummer, but they do fit small sunglasses underneath, so if you don't mind looking silly, you can do that. The materials are unfortunately kind of cheap, as is usually the case with novelty gear like this. But they do fit very comfortably and securely and I can wear them for a long time without any issues.... EXCEPT when I wear them on a hot day, Whoa it gets hot in there. The mask takes up a decent portion of your face, so on hot days it can get sweaty in there.
However, on cold days it's awesome because it keeps a lot of your face warm and protected.
I would suggest them to anyone who lives in a colder climate and wants to look as cool as the temperature.....

I love knowing that this is always in my truck. It just has all this random, useful stuff. everything from a 45 piece first aid kit to duct tape. I'm a guy, of course I like having duct tape available. Also has jumper cables, rain poncho, a screwdriver, a bungee cord... see? all this random stuff that, as you can imagine, is only useful every so often, but when you need it, you REALLY need it. (Especially the duct tape.)
I recommend this to any person who owns a vehicle. Definitely a must have. I also recommend this to any new driver or as a gift for any new driver. They, especially, need to have one of these around.
|
|
|

This is not a car specific product, but a great first aid kit all the way around, and I certainly believe a car is the first place anyone should have a first aid kit! It only makes sense. It has 61 pieces of first aid equipment: scissors, gloves, bandages, standard bandaids, antibiotic and anti-burn ointments, gauze pads, etc. Everything you need in a basic first aid kit. Comes in a nice small plastic case that's easy to store in your car or home. It's always good to be prepared! You never know what might happen.

This is a tricky one to suggest because it has lots of pros and cons, but it has worked really well for me, so i have to defend its honor! The thing works really well, just like it's supposed to. The problems we run into here are reliability and customer service. This company has a reputation of not answering phone calls and taking forever to get back to you... so hope you don't need to contact them. Even one of the install places I went wouldn't do it for me because they didn't like the company that much.
HOWEVER..... the product itself is awesome. After the install, I have had no problems with it and love what it can do.
It has remote keyless entry, remote starter, multi vehicle capable, comes with 2 remotes, has panic alarm and car finder. I love the remote starter for cold mornings and hot afternoons. don't like the cheap plastic remote...but I guess you can't win them all.
|
|
|
|
|
For automatic transmissions only!!! Don't buy this for your manual, because it won't work. This is a nice set up... I have the same one. You get two 4-button remotes with remote starting and keyless entry. Getting two of these is definitely a good idea, because when you loose one your system is useless. Also comes with glass mounted antenna.
They claim it has a 1400 foot range but that's way off! I wouldn't even say half that. But it doesn't matter it's not like I need to start my car from a quarter mile away. I just want to be able to look out my window in the wintertime and push a button and VOILA! my car is started and heat is on. That's exactly what this thing does.
I'm pretty comfortable with this sort of thing so I installed it my self in under two hours and had no problems with it so far.... I just love getting into a warm car in the morning!

This is a 13" monster from JL Audio... you can't go wrong with this company! They make amazing stuff. It has a 4000W peak output (which is HUGE) and extra long voice coils. It has a 1.5 ohm impedance, and a sensitivity of about 86.3 dB. So what all this means is that it rocks.
If you haven't owned a JL, you should certainly check it out. If you're looking in this price range you could get a sick woofer from this company. But they have lots of different models to chose from, so you should go on their website and check them all out.
Once you hear how great it is, you'll be sold and never use anything else again!
|
|
|
|
|
Is this the best kicker EVER? I think it might actually be. This thing will definitely take your car audio to a whole new level of performance. The amount of sound that this unit produces is unbelievable.... however when you see the size of it and the price tag, you will understand. Worth every penny though!
This 15 inch woofer is all about it's massive one piece injection molded cone complete with back brace. This is really what enables it to produce such a large, clear sound. It has a 1000W RMS an 2000W peak.
This thing will add a ton of sound and a huge punch (get it?) to your audio system.

designed for hauling atvs and watercraft, these are sure to get the job done for you. they are very heavy duty straps and i like them because they are super easy to use and very effective. They are adjustable from 4 -5 feet of webbing and feature an auto lock ratchet system. The 8mm steel hooks are rubber coated, so don't worry about them ruining your paint job.
I will say that after a couple years of use the edges have begun to fray a bit. this is to be expected, i guess, after awhile, but they seemed way more heavy duty than this on the website. But they work well over all and would be perfect for your purposes.

Every serious Ford enthusiast must have one of these in their garage. They're awesome. Not only are they totally kitch and cool looking, but pretty comfortable and even quite durable. The thick padding on top is covered in 12 mil. vinyl so it won't rip and is easily wiped off. It has an officially licensed Ford Logo design right smack in the middle, and those silver legs are chrome, baby. Fun chair... you'll get a lot of use out of it.

I like this machine because it is both a vehicle jump starter and an air compressor, although I will say it's definitely more of jumper than a compressor. In case you're looking for a heavy duty compressor, I should tell you know that this one only maxes out at 60 psi. So it's not for trucks or rigs or anything. But it is nice for bike tires, sports balls, and adding air to already inflated car tires.
It's primary function is jumping cars, and at that it succeeds, in fact exceeds my expectations. Here's the real kicker: 1700 peak/425 cranking amps! Awesome - instantly jumpstarts just about any vehicle. Als0 has nice long 68" cables, making connecting a breeze. No complaints here... except I do sort of wish it had a better air compressor. All around very pleased with it's performance, though.

I am very happy with this product and wanted to share some of my experiences with you. It works very well, just as advertised. Plug into any standard 120v wall outlet, and start filling tires! It is very quiet compared to other devices I've used because there are no moving parts.... also no vibrating for this reason. You can actually completely inflate a mid size tire in about 3 1/2 minutes. It also comes with inflation adapters so you can blow up a variety of inflatables from tires to soccer balls to whatever you can think of.
It beats the hell outta going to the gas station when my tires are running low, and I find myself using it more than I ever thought I would on random things. I will say that durability may be an issue in the future. There are some questionable parts on this device, durability wise, that I could see breaking rather easily. But, as of now, it works like it should. No problems.

I love suggesting anything Harley Davidson because their stuff is so rugged and so American!
This is an awesome half helmet that sits nice and low on the head for a lower profile look. It's very light, too, with a fiberglass/aramid mixture of some sort that results in a 17% lighter helmet overall than fiberglass. The double d ring chin strap offers a superbly comfortable experience that doesn't pinch or dig into your skin at all.
The lining has moisture wicking capabilities that don't let you sweat all over.... not that you will with the double air vents. If you don't buy this for the lightweight, low profile, buy it for the fact that it's from Harley Davidson.... one of the greatest motorcycle companies ever.
|
|
|
|
|
This is a cool halfer to consider... and don't worry, it comes in many different colors and graphics, so you're not stuck with this shiny one if you don't want it. I like it because it's very light and small. The lining is pretty thin (thinnest I've seen) to enable it to be smaller, so take that into consideration. Obviously safety is a little compromised, but it's still DOT approved and does a solid job. It certainly feels solid.
It has a fiberglass shell, adjustable chin straps, and even comes with a cool helmet bag. It's available naked or with the visor... I prefer the visor.
The thing that really sold me on this was the compact size. I'm sick of helmets that make me look like a mushroom head, and this one certainly does not. For my easy commutes around the city, this is all I need to feel safe, secure, and stylish.
|
|
|
|
|
When they designed this helmet they were focused on making it as lightweight as possible without effecting safety.... and they have certainly delivered. If I am not mistaken, this is about as light a full face helmet as you can get, right around 1200 grams, which is incredibly light. Also super tough with its carbon fiber shell. This company has always had the highest of safety standards, so light weight doesn't mean less protection.
The inside is made of Nexx's own Coolmax material, designed to help keep the rider cool (duh) and the breath guard is removable for much needed cleaning. Sometimes noise can be an issue, but only at high speeds. Also has a nice ventilation system built in.
Visibility is outstanding in this piece... you can see how wide it is by the pic. I love this helmet and you will too!
|
|
|
|
|
This helmet is really cool looking.... you'll look like a freakin wasp when you wear it. It's nice wearing a bright color like this, especially if you're going to be riding at night time. But actually any time is a good time for people to be able to see you on your bike! I live in a big city where it's really difficult sometimes to see motorcyclists weaving through the traffic, so I feel way more confident with my ride when I have a bright, noticeable color that everyone can see on my head.
The helmet is constructed of kevlar, carbon and fiberglass, and is superbly lightweight. Almost feels like it's too light to protect me.... but I trust this company too much to actually feel like that!
My one complaint with this helmet, I have to say, is the noise factor. At higher speeds it tends to get a little noisy in this thing, which I kind of hate. Just at speeds over 60 I would say.
Other than that, a high performance, beautiful helmet!
|
|
|
|
|
I was pretty surprised at the over all quality of this helmet. Not having heard of this brand before, I was a little skeptical at first.. but all fir not! It turned out to be an amazing buy. The whole front face plate flips up with the push of a button which is SUPER COOL. Over all it has a clean, strong looking construction. It fits excellently and is an amazing deal for this price. The shell is a tough as nails fiber composite that looks and feels like it can take some serious heat. It even comes with a nice little cloth carry bag so you can keep it shiny all the time!

|
fabulous helmet. i love it. it looks like it came here from the future to protect our heads from concrete. this piece is very comfortable and fitted exactly as it should be. also has a sunshield with an anti-scratch coating that pops back up with the touch of a button.
it's made of a somewhat different material than a lot of newer helmets - a polycarbonate composite tat is very resilient. this is an awesome purchase for anyone with a bike.

Every time I wear this I feel like a Russian Cosmonaut.... right? It looks just like the helmets they wore. This one is way cooler though, and certainly more durable. hahaha.
But really I think this is a fantastic helmet, especially if you are into the aesthetic value of scooter riding.... like I am. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about the fun and freedom of the ride, but it doesn't hurt to look badass while your riding!
This is a european style helmet, so it represents the utmost in fashion. It has EPS foam and an impact absorbing liner, so it's gonna keep your head safe. Also has a scratch resistant liner.
I found that it fits really well and was sized correctly, although it's a little snug in the forehead area. But all around I love it and get a bunch of compliments when I wear it.
|
|
|
|
|
I like this helmet for its comfort and versatility.... I mean look at that pic and you can see how much padding surrounds your face in this thing. It's pretty aerodynamic, too.
This helmet has some cool features that are hard to find in this price range: a pivoting chin bar so it's easier to talk to other riders; forehead air vents that allow for air to flow over your head and out through the two rear exhaust vents; also has a breath deflector that deflects your breath down and away from your mouth.
Very well designed all the way around and durable feeling, although i haven't tested that part out if you know what I mean. It also feels really good and secure on hy head.
The only thing I don't like is that it is really big! And really heavy! So you should try it on before you buy to make sure it's something you can deal with!
|
|

it looks like a thermometer, but I assure you it's a tire gauge!! This thing is great and is even programmable... it remembers what levels you want you front and back psi to be at. It measures your psi from 5 - 99lbs, should be enough for any standard tire. These are really easy to use and very accurate.
One problem has been getting a good seal with the tire... I get an accurate reading every time but seem to lose a bit of air. Seems like it should come with an o ring or some such device to create a better seal, but oh well. It works quickly and accurately, and for that O say thank you.

Pioneer always comes up as top picks for things like this because they always produce a high end, affordable product, and this is certainly one of them (except for one thing that I will certainly get to). This has a 6.1" beautiful widescreen touchscreen display. It puts on a show, visually and aurally. It can of course play DVD's with the right equipment, which you should be sure to get or you're not getting everything you can out of it.
Here are the good things first of all: it has built in blue tooth which works pretty well... not amazing but good enough, it has nice sound quality for your audio (this is really where this unit excels as far as I'm concerned... beautiful audio), it's a great ipod interface and shows your album art and everything, and even plays music through your phone via bluetooth. All great features.
Notice how I haven't mentioned the navigation system yet? Well that's because it's not very good. It wil get you where you're going.... eventually. It definitely doesn't always find you the quickest way, and the maps are impossible to interact with on the touch screen.
I would buy this for its looks and audio quality, but certainly not for the navigation.

These are really effective at home in my closets and stuff... how effective they'd be in a car I don't know, but definitely worth a try.
It has a bamboo charcoal filter in there that absorbs harmful elements in the air like chemicals and exhaust, and eliminates odors as well. It's a very absorbant material and should work in your car... I put it next to my hamper and my closet smells like fresh cloths all the time now.

This is a great multi media player/dvd player with built in, usable bluetooth and a 5.8" Lcd touchscreen that takes your console to the next level! The resolution on that little guy isn't bad, and at 1440 X 240 you can actually see a little detail.
Let me say right off the bat, though, don't think your getting a dvd/cd player included or anything. Those are additional products yo can buy from pioneer, as well as the iPod direct connect (but it will play your ipod/iphone, as well as flash memory devices.)
Yeah it's a really cool interface, but it needs some other hardware to get the full effect... this is just the bare bones.
I love the sound it produces, as I always do with pioneer products. They can build a nice car radio! I never really been disappointed with one of their products, so I invite you to try one as well!

I am always impressed with pioneer products. With this receiver you can pretty much play anything: CD's, iPods, USB flash drives (mp3.wma,etc.). The iPod aux. in is right on the front face plate (which is detachable) for easy accessibility, and it pretty much plays anything that has stored memory on it, from flash drives to iphones. It's like the ultimate digital age receiver!
It has a nice sleek design and a simple display screen, so you won't get distracted when your trying to drive and watch the screen at the same time. It has a max power of 50W for four speakers... and a decent built in amp for a good amount of sound for any vehicle.
I would recommend buying the iPod cord that pioneer offers with it. That way you can leave your iPod cord in the house, and this one in the car.... don't worry about them getting lost.

Satellite radio is a pretty cool option that you should check out. I don't have it personally but but good friend does... we cruise around in his Nissan Z all the time and listen to everything you could ever imagine. My favorite is totally the mariachi music.
It's a sweet deal because it's super cheap, super easy to use, and you get hundreds of stations. It's a great way to listen to new stuff you've never heard before.
This one comes with a car kit which makes it easy to attach to your dash, and I know my buddy has had his on there for at least a couple of years, so it stays on pretty well... also has an antenna. This also gets FM channels... so your possibilities are endless.
Keep in mind that if you do go with satellite, you also have to pay a monthly subscription. I don't know exactly how much it is, but I know it's real cheap... right around $10.

THIS IS NOT THE PRODUCT I WANT TO SUGGEST! I couldn't post the link to the product I like for some reason, which is called SCRATCH PRO, and you can get it on Amazon. It's an awesome scratch removal system that actually uses like crushed diamonds or something, because they advertise it as having diamond power, which apparently makes it stronger.
Well I don;t know or care what they put in it because it is amazing and almost instantly takes my small scratches out.... no buffing required. I don't know how they do it (must be the diamonds) but really, you don't have to buff, just rub it on there for like 10 - 20 seconds. Included are 3 color syringes, 3 color coded buffing pads, and a foam gripper. Basically just follow those directions and you'll be golden!

This product is awesome and will totally get you out of a jam. i've been using it for years to cover up scratches on mine and friends. Notice I said 'cover up' because you can't remove a scratch... let's get real here. You can only cover it up! But this stuff is great for light scratches and getting rid of contaminants, oxidations and build ups. It is not, however, an abrasive cleaner, so you need another product for that sort of thing. This is for fine detailing and scratch cover up. basically if your scratch isn't through your base coat, this will absolutely cover it up, no problem... you just have to follow the directions properly:
First of all, make sure you are using a microfiber cloth otherwise you might scratch your car even more. Put a penny sized glob on your cloth and find your scratch. Start rubbing, pretty hard at first, perpendicular to the direction of the scratch. Keep going and going... if you start running out of goo, put more on... don't rub dry. As you get further you can start rubbing softer and softer, until voila! your scratch is gone. Repeat if necessary.

This is the total package... I mean everything you need to clean your car. If this system doesn't work for you, you're doing something wrong! With this set you get 8oz wax, 16oz shampoo, 16oz cleansing lotion, 16oz detail spray, 16oz leather and vinyl dressing, and even a few more items. That's a lot of stuff. Included is of course the industry standard Carnauba wax... a wax from brazil that outshines pretty much everything else on the market. The shampoo is actually like a duel action type thing.... it washes your car and also has coconut oils in it (that smell reeeeally good) that are supposed to lubricate your exterior and make it difficult for dirt and grime to attach to. I don't know how well it works at this ridiculous, molecular level, but it definitely washes well.
The natural cleanser is used just before the wax goes on, as a last second rinse.
Also included is a detail spray that also contains Carnauba wax and is better than armor all (as far as I'm concerned), and the leather cleaner not inly cleans but shines.
Everything smells delicious, so don't try ingesting any of it. This stuff is expensive, and like anything else, you will get your money's worth!

This is a really good starter kit that has a little bit of everything you need. This is all around a great company to buy car care products from. Everything they make is good. Also, they have a less toxic approach to washing and cleaning than some other companies I've bought from.
The wash included is biodegradable and is gentle yet effective on your paint. The Wheel cleaner is pH balanced so it's better for you and your tires. The clay included is the real workhorse out of the bunch and will definitely remove those dirty contaminants that get into your paint job and ruin it. The wax leaves your car looking wet, wich is usually how you can tell if it's a good wax or not, and the vinyl dressing is sure to shine up your interior so it can look as nice as the exterior. Also, the spray bottles are good enough to be reused, so if you like it you can actually buy more in bulk and fill up the bottles.
Over all this is an amazing deal for such a great product, and I recommend it for anyone who owns a vehicle, period.

This is a cool all in one sort of thing - it's an eight piece cleaning package that is sure to impress. Meguiar makes some great cleaning products, and this set in particular struck me as a really good deal. (You actually get all of the stuff pictured...imagine that!)
The cleaner wax works surprisingly well with it's dual action deep cleanser and wax capabilities... I thought combining cleaner and wax was a ridiculously sill idea, but it cleans and shines, so I am satisfied. The wash gel is a great cleaner and a little bit goes a long way. The quick detailer is the best part by far, as it removes all those contaminants embedded deep in your finish. This stuff really does gets those contaminants out, and that's really important because they can do a lot of damage deep in there. I would say it's a good idea while you're on here to also purchase some extra microfiber cloths, because you will need a lot to efficiently clean your car like you want to!

This is a great emergency jumper to keep in your vehicle. It not only can jump you car, it provides power to any three prong, light duty electronics, and has a light duty air compressor. It comes with 3, three pronged AC outlets. You can plug in your cell phone, laptop, or whatever (like I said - light duty.... it can pull 480W continuously for not very long) and charge 'em all up. not for use with microwaves or coffee makers or any appliances. It has some nice safety features like a built in flashlight, overload/overheat protection, and a non-spillable battery. (Keep your battery charged even when you're not using it, or it will eventually just die completely)
The air compressor is really only for bike tires and small air mattresses and stuff... certainly not car tires.
Like I keep saying... this thing is great for emergencies, but is really only for that and light duty charging/appliances.
Oh yeah... the jumping thing. It can jump cars pretty well and has detachable alligator clips, but it's not really designed for more than 6 cylinders on a full charge, so keep that in mind when you're watching movies on your laptop!
Also - make sure you get one that hasn't been siting on a shelf for a super long time. This causes sulfation in the battery and it won't hold a charge anymore! If you can test it out first, do it!

This thing is a monster and if it doesn't fit all your stuff, nothing will! It's really big and really long - long enough to hold my snowboards and skis. It can hold anything. However, it's size is both a blessing and a curse. First of all, it is quite heavy (I'm not sure but I would guess around 30 - 40 pounds) so installing it up there is definitely a two man job. It's got an extra thick lid for extra security and weather protection, but it also means extra weight. This also means worse gas mileage... but that's a given with one of these.
The lid fastens to the bottom using Yakima's Super Latch Security. This ensures your lid will stay connected and makes it very much water tight. I would say it's about 100% waterproof actually, which is an amazing feature.
This thing is real sturdy and high quality and I highly recommend it.

I bought this Rola for a recent road trip and it performed wonderfully for me.... just what I wanted out a cargo carrier. It's very light and easy to install, (comes with universal mounting hardware that is supposed to fit most factory racks) and can fold flat when empty to reduce drag up there. Installing it is actually a one man job. It adds over 13 cubic feet of extra room, and holds it quite securely to my roof.
The durability comes in the form of an aluminum frame that runs along the bottom in a separate compartment from your stuff. It also comes with a rain cover, so don't worry about your stuff getting wet!
The best part about this thing is the flexi-soft side panels which allow for oddly shaped items as well as over stuffing..... although I don't recommend this. The paneling, though durable, will definitely rip if pushed too far! But you can fit a lot of stuff in there and let it overflow a little, if necessary.
Getting in and out of the bag couldn't be easier, as the zippers are on the sides and back instead of the front. I guess to sum it all up I will say this: this is a great medium duty bag for medium distance road trips and medium bad weather!
|
|
|
|
|
This is a slightly different way of expanding your cargo capacity that doesn't involve strapping a flimsy sack to your roof. It's made of lightweight aluminum that won't ever rust, and has lots of adjustable straps and hooks to lock down your valuables (although I don't recommend putting valuables up there at all!). This is a nice way to take coolers, bags, and small furniture like lawn chairs and stuff with you. If you need waterproofing I suggest wrapping your things in garbage bags... not the most attractive option but it works.
My only gripes with this thing is that it was kind of difficult to figure out how to securely attach it to my roof (although it was completely done in under half an hour), and also the legs that it rests on and that the straps attach to are kind of cheap and mad of plastic... so durability may be an issue in the near future. But it lasted through my fourth of July travels to the lake with zero problems, so as of now I am a satisfied customer!

I'm a Garmin man, and have been for years... so I will always recommend these products. Some people complain that they allow ads to pop onto the screen (don't worry - they don't block the screen or anything...just a small icon in the corner) but I don't mind it because it navigates 1000X better than a tomtom.... and gets me some good deals on local pizza ;)
The big 5" screen is great for people like me with larger hands. I simply can't type on the smaller screens. So for me, bigger is better. Bigger is also better when it comes to map selection. This unit comes with lifetime map and traffic updates (for free) that you download. I wil say that it takes quite a long time to load these updates (almost too long) but it's worth the wait in the end.
The map updates are awesome because roads change a lot more than we're aware of, and you certainly don't want your gps telling you to drive on a road that doesn't exist any more! The traffic updates are also amazing, and can help steer you clear of construction and anything else that might slow you down.
The junction view is the coolest and most useful feature for me. It switches to junction view when the roads get stacked up and confusing and shows you exactly where you need to go. Also, this thing can track up to 10,000 of your destinations, so you can see exactly where you have been on your adventures.
This thing is fun, functional and sleek and everyone needs one!

I love my garmin for its absolute simplicity and ease of use. It's screen is only 3.5" so you're just getting the bare minimum.... but for some of us that is all that's required!
This thing does everything I need it to and nothing I don't. It has preloaded maps of North America, Hawaii and Puerto Rico (an odd , random addition... must be for selling it to people that live there...). It also has turn by turn spoken directions, so you don't even really need to look at the screen to navigate.
It has a car navigation and a pedestrian option for when you are not in your car and still need directions - this is a great feature for such a portable device! Makes so much sense.
The unit is way smaller and simpler than others, but if you just need GPS navigation, this is really all you need.
One complaint I have is that there are only 6 million points of interest on here. That sonds like a ton, but it really is not that many and it seems to miss a lot of places that should be on there, like walmarts and stuff.

Just got this installed about 4 months ago and I'm pretty happy with it so far. I love the 7 inch widescreen touchscreen, if for nothing else than the fact that it looks sweet! It has lots of great features like of course blue tooth capabilities, a low reflection screen, and it even acts as a 4 X 50w audio interface. Yeah... you can connect 4 speakers to it and get really nice audio quality, and it works with an external USB as well as mp3's and a whole list of supported audio formats. It comes with maps of the U.S., Canada, and randomly Puerto Rico as well. (?)
The screen is pretty nice... the resolution isn't super high but it's not bad. The screen is detachable which is a really nice feature for sketchy areas of town.
Now, my complaints. The bluetooth works pretty well for me on my side of the conversation, but I get a lot of complaints about it breaking up on the other side of the line... so it sucks for whoever I'm talking to. I guess it's possible this is my phone or a connection or something, but I never have this problem except when I'm in the car. Also... when I am flipping through the menu and scroll across my iPhone, it will turn it on and start playing music! Just by scrolling by! Annoying.
I general this is a nice navigation unit, and I am happy to have it!

This thing guarantees to impress. It comes ready outfitted as a receiver for your AM/FM, CD player, mp3, wma,wav and aac files. It has a 4 X 50W max power output with its little amp and has a decent audio quality all the way around. This is a seriously great all around unit to put in your vehicle. The 4.3" touchscreen isn't super impressive, but gets the job done. It also has an aux input, USB port, and iPod direct control. No blue tooth is included, but can of course by purchased and used with your iPhones. I had someone install it for me and it took about an hour and a half. Easy.
I can't say that this is an amazing unit or anything.... I mean it definitely gets the job done, but it's sort of a jack of all trades and doesn't necessarily do any one thing particularly well. So if you only want GPS ability, this may not be for you. It's a personal thing.

Ok so this is not in dash, but it is a pretty nice gps unit that mounts super easily on your front window... so it's like an in dash! This little garmin comes with a pre loaded City Navigator for North America. This is a nice feature to have, as sometimes gps units tend to get a little confused in large urban areas, especially when there are lots of levels of roads. This helps a bit with keeping your gps on the sam page as you!
The 4.3" display is nice and bright and very easy to see and follow directions. It also comes with bluetooth technology for hands free calling.
The big issue with this unit is that it's very difficult for me to type on it! The letters and numbers are so close together, it's very difficult to type in where I need to go! I would recommend this only for small fingered travelers!

These sennheisers are the new standard! I use them for my live music endeavors and they are the ultimate in clarity and sensitivity.... completely different than Shure...different in a way I like! They just seem to recreate my voice more accurately than any shure microphones I've used, not to say I don't like shure, too. This is a nice change of pace.
The cardioid pick up patterns have a small area of pickup, so you're safe from other sounds on stage, yet you can hold the mic a solid 2 - 3" away from your face and still get a good, clear sound. It's made of metal, so it's nice 'n rugged, and to prove it they slap on a ten year warranty. Try this mic out for yourself!

|
|
|
|
This is one of the best all around microphones in the business. This would be perfect for you if you also wanted to record other instruments, as it's design basically as an all around microphone. It has a frequency response of 40 to 15,00 Hz, and is a cardioid dynamic mic, making it unidirectional. This is important because it is designed only to pick up what is directly in front of it. As all shure mics are, this this is incredibly durable so it's perfect for the stage and your studio.

I was really impressed with this Casio. I don't own one myself, but my friend does and I play on it all the time. I'm one of those who can't walk by a piano without testing it out and playing a little bit. I've played piano pretty decently my whole life, but nothing super serious. Just lessons when I was a kid and some casual stuff. I say this because, though not a pro, I do know what a piano should feel and sound like, and this Casio is very realistic.
It features a full 88 key keyboard and hammer action, weighted keys. It's very light and sleek looking, and doesn't have all those buttons and fancy things that tend to clutter up other pianos. It is made of pretty cheap plastic - the one crappy thing about it. I mean if you look at it wrong it's liable to break.
That being said, this keyboard creates some incredibly realistic sounds and has 16 different tones and reverb and chorus adjustments.
A very nice product from Casio.

Onkyo is cool because they make these 7.1 channel systems that blow you out of the water! The 10" cone woofer is under my couch and when I watch a war movie it almost shakes my couch apart! Cool stuff. For even more fire power, the front and center speakers each have 2 5' subs and one 1' tweeter. The speakers also use 2 way bass reflex for clarity.
This is a lot of speaker, so setting it all up in a royal pain the butt. There are lots of wires to connect and cable hiding to do, so the set-up is not what I would call easy.... but you can definitely do it if you know anything about audio equipment.
I think with certain types of music the surround sound actually distracts from the listening experience. It almost covers itself up with all the layers of sound and gets a little cloudy and less clear. Over all, though, a nice solid system for the money.

Polk has really come out of nowhere to start producing some very nice sounding equipment! I have never owned one before this, and if i could go back in time and save money by ONLY buying pols, I would! I just think this product compares to lots of far more expensive systems, and makes me wonder why I've been wasting my money!
I will say I use this primarily for tv/movie watching, but I also love Steely Dan DVD's and rock in general and it all sounds good on these speakers... to me at least!
It comes with 6 pieces 2 front, 2 surrounds, one center, and one subwoofer. The mid rangers have a polymer composite cone construction for less distortion, the tweeters have a silk and polymer composite, and the 8" woofer has a polymer composite cone with 'dynamic balace' technology... whatever that means. To me, it means rich lows and a full spectrum of sound.
It fills out my living room pretty well, even with my chalet style ceilings, but sometimes I will say the low end can get fuzzy when it gets too loud. Fuzzy may be a bad word... more like distorted. Usually i don't have it turned up so loud, and it's business as usual.
I think there are better home audio systems out there, but certainly not at this price.

This is an outstanding set of on ear headphones from the very best in noise cancellation. i prefer the on ear style because my ears tend to get over heated and sweaty in those around ear things. Awful. The sound is outstanding and the bass, for once, isn't overwhelming. One of the best features that sort of sets these apart is the rechargeable lithium ion battery - most noise cancelers require AAA's and I'll tell you what you will go through a tons of them, especially on long flights. I think bose is pretty much the best in the world. Anyone agree?

Sony always impresses me with their products. I think they are a great company to buy sound equipment from, and I have never been disappointed with something I bought from them.
These boast an 85% ambient sound reduction capability, adjustable and foldable design, and a cool feature for the airport - a mute button right there on the phones... so you won't miss any important flight information! Aslo comes with a little case.
Now the negs. My only issue is the bass. It's not that it doesn't have a good bass sound, it's that the bass is actually too powerful for itself and rattles inside the phones when turned up too loud. Obviously you shouldn't be listening to music at super high levels, bu even at a moderate volume sometimes this happens. A big design flaw that I'm surprised Sony didn't pick up on. However, due to their noise canceling capabilities, you shouldn't need to turn it up too loud, so it's not really an issue.

I am definitely a coffee addict who is sick and tired of the outrageous prices at coffee houses! (I know fair trade is expensive and I surely support it, but I'm not made of money here!)
So I finally decided to just start doing it myself. Awesome decision! It's really fun and inexpensive (once you pay the initial investment) and it's nice being able to control every step and make the perfect custom coffee for you. I'm a latte kind of guy, and I can now make one helluva latte!
Like most similar products, this espresso maker offers 15 bars of pressure. this is plenty of pressure for you and is a great system. You can make 1 or two cups at a time. The reservoir is 53 ounces... about enough for 4 espressos and the frothing. Also comes with a scooper/tamping device and an instructional DVD, which I would recommend watching. Barista-ing is a very touchy process, so make sure you are doing it right!
The two drawbacks I saw immediately were 1) the steam nozzle is awfully low, forcing you to tilt the steam cup an awful lot, and 2) if you over tamp you will end up with a mess! Just takes some playing around with,

My wife uses this straightener and the only reason i am suggesting it is because she speaks so highly of it, I couldn't help but become a fan... and a knowledgeable one at that. I listen when she talks to me! It's all about negative ions with these high quality straighteners. I guess more negative ions is better. I'm not sure why, but it is the case. it's also the case that this unit has a high negative ion production which supposedly makes your hair silkier. all I know is that my wife raves about it to all of her friends and they all end up buying one. she can be very persuasive :)

This is a really cool little camcorder from panasonic... it's really small and rugged but has a couple of issues. The good stuff first: It's waterproof to 5 feet (not much, but still very fun!) and shock proof tested up to 4 ft, so drop it if you want.... just not from above your head! This thing has an impressive 10X optical zoom to get up close and personal, and a 2.7" LCD screen to look at all those images on. The one touch navigation is very easy to get around and operate, and is quite intuitive. It's also easy to save your files to a hard disk, and of course it has flash memory.
The problems come in to play with the underwater capabilities, and it almost seems like it's effectiveness depends on the actual one you get. Mine has had no issues underwater, albeit I don't use it much underwater. But I know lots of people have issues with it shorting out when the submerge it. So make sure you have a warranty, and if the screen fogs up or flat out stops working, sent it back!
Like I said, no such problems with mine. I love it!

|
|
This is right at the top of your price range, but I've done my research and this is a great camcorder for you! Flips have become almost like the standard for this type of thing... so let's break it down....
It's called a flip for the flip out USB drive which conveniently plugs directly into your computer (obviously). This makes it super easy to dump onto your computer and share, and enables you to erase it from the camera, which you must do, as there are only 4 gigs on this thing. That's not a lot, but it's enough for about 2 hours of VGA quality video. Remember though - this is not Hi Def!
The 2" LCD screen is very clear and pretty big considering the size of the unit. Bigger is better because there's no viewfinder... you look at the screen to film.
This camera is very easy to use and great for casual, fun recording.
The downfalls - the thing requires 2 AA batteries are not rechargeable. Bummer. I would think they could make it charge via USB cuz it's built right in there... I guess not. Also, if you use a mac, beware. The software for mac seems to downgrade video quality quite a bit for some reason, so look into this before you buy.
Another ongoing issue with these is general durability. They are small and delicate, sometimes to a fault. People seem to receive broken ones in the mail or drop it once and its a gonner... So be careful!

Go with the official AVP ball and you can be sure it's the correct size and weight and made well! This ball is hand sewn with a micro fiber composite leather outer shell.
These pro outdoor balls are a little bigger than the indoor balls, so it's a good idea to buy and outdoor specific ball. They are also built to last better and tend to be more durable. The outer shell has a nice padded feel to it and is a pleasure to smack around!

This is a great cover and they make em for a wide variety of jet skis... make sure you get the right one! All the stress seams have been over lapped and double stitched to ensure a solid seal. The tie down handles are superbly strong, and the cover unzips over the gas cap you can refuel on the trailer.
Around the whole bottom runs an elastic cord, helping hold it in place, as you can kind of see in the picture. This cover is really durable and well built, and is easy to put on and, more importantly, take off, so it won't slow you down when you're aching to get in that water!

While you're at it, you should try making some spring rolls as well! They're pretty easy and all you need is these, fresh veggies, and sauces. (eel sauce is bomb) These papers are crazy because once you soak them in water they become very pliable and untearable!

I like the feeling of putting in a little hard work for my ice cream - makes it taste better when you're done! This machine requires no salt, no ice, and best of all no electricity. If you could figure out how to keep the bucket frozen, you could even tak it camping!
I love mine. It's really small and so easy. Also comes with a recipe book with some fantastic ideas and delectable desserts.

Don't take any risks when your diving... get a reliable watch! I love my oceanic diving watch. It's exactly what I wanted: small, understated, easy to use, and functional. Can even be worn as a normal watch due to its simplistic design.
Enjoy features like being able to switch between gauge and free diving mode, and a buddy check system where you can keep an eye on your dive buddy's air pressure, and they can keep an eye on yours! That feels good.
This is very easy to read underwater, which I think is the best feature!

I don't think U.S. divers actually use this glove! More like it's derived from their gloves, or vice versa or something. But these are great for cold water kayaking, and i'm sure they'd be great for kite surfing as well.... very similar needs.
I use them a lot in northern Michigan where I play all summer and the water can be freakin cold. Now, my hands still get cold, but it's far more manageable. It's got 3mm of neoprene to keep to you warm. Another thing I like is the pre curved fingers. Holding onto a paddle all day (or a bar, in your case) can be exhausting. This help to reduce the fatigue.
In general I would say these gloves improved my performance in the water and so I am glad I purchased them! I will say to, though, that they're not designed for ultra cold water, like below freezing. So that I can't comment on!

I'm no pro fisherman or anything, but I do enjoy an occasional day on the lake with a fishing pole. I was trying to pull out a bass a few weeks ago and someone recommended I try one of these on my line. Spinners are supposed to be a very versatile lure because a lot of fish are attracted to the flashing lights they produce, including bass.
Well I'll be darned I pulled out a largemouth bass within 20 minutes of my line hitting the water!
So i'll definitely recommend this lure to you... I would think it would do nicely in the great lakes.

This is a fantastic rookie ball. It is 3X lighter than the standard ball and helps your kid work on control of passing and shooting. A lot easier for youngsters due to its incredible lightweight design. The integrity of the ball isn't compromised by the lightweight design though. It is a machine stitched, long lasting ball that's perfect for the eager soccer fan!

Smartwool dude! These are the best wool socks I have found. They are designed for the avid hiker needing superior warmth and comfort in freezing conditions. They are also good for anyone who just wants their feet to stay warm!
They are a comfortable blend of 75% wol, 24% nylon and 1% spandex. This allows them to keep you warm while staying put on your foot. This particular sock is made with heavy cushioning throughout....but you should check out other smart wool socks to find the exact one you need. They have all sorts of different types.

For vehicle like yours, it's definitely best to go with just a plain old plug, like a champion or an autolite. Putting a platinum or any such high performance plug in your jeep ain't nothin but a waste of money, because that jeep isn't a high performance vehicle! Save some money and get something like this... only like 5 bucks a pop. These are pretty durable and you'll get a solid 5 years out of it.

Fisheye lenses are really cool if you get a good one. This is a great lens that I use a lot for cityscape photos.... like skylines and even up close on big buildings. It features a 180 degree aspherical lens that is super complex and confusing! But it gets great shots.
The multi layer coating they put on this thing reduces flare ups and flat out gets rid of ghosts. It has a minimum focus of 12'' so you can get up close and personal with your target. This lens has been nothing but great for me!

This is a great system to try out. before i bought this I had everything kind of under control with twisty ties, but there were so many different cords that when I had to move them or unplug anything it took forever to figure out what was what. Especially with L/R speaker wire... what a hassle.
This is a really simple and easy system and has color coded labels... by far my favorite part. You can bunch everything together to hide them and still are able to easily decipher what is what.

Glob free is the way to be! A great pen for anyone who needs smooth flowing ink and zero globs. I use these exclusively in my small office. I'm not into super fancy pens, but I also don't like cheap pieces of crap, so this is a nice in between pen for someone who cares about quality penmanship.

These bad boys are just as rugged as they look! The monster treads will keep you romping all day, and the dimpled tread surface guarantees a controlled ride. These tires are huge and can take on just about anything mother nature throws at it.

With this your little guy will be riding pro when he's 12! That's probably not what a parent wants to hear, though..... hahaha. This is a really cool electric mini bike that actually has accurate quad rations in its design. It has a 350 watt motor and goes an exhilarating 10 mph!
An eight hour charge will get you around 40 minutes of riding time, and it's approved for anyone under 120 lbs. Featuring large pneumatic tires and rear disc brakes, this bike is about as close as you can get to the real thing without going up generously in price and size.

This almost too smart paper shredder measure the thickness of the paper you put in it to avoid getting itself into a jam. The safety device closes the paper slot if touched by human hand.. an amazing safety feature. It would be impossible to get hurt. It is very quiet, efficient and easy to use. Also has a slightly larger, 6 gallon basket. This is a very high quality shredder, though, and comes with a hefty price tag.

This is a really simple and easy way to stay hydrated. It's certainly not the fanciest hydration pack ever, buy I think you will find it does the job as well as anything else. The waffleweave material is light and breathable, and of course it is outfitted with the hands free hydration tube. It has a small compartment on the front for keys and stuff, but storage in general is at a minimum.
Great for runs and quick bike trips.

I think this is a great alternative to the standard looking filing cabinet. I like having physical, printed out copies of my important papers (scanners are not for me) so this is perfect for my needs. I like it because filing cabinets are generally quite ugly, and this is a nice sleek, black, sophisticated looking piece of furniture!

This is a pretty nice little device for window safety, if you have the right window for it. I have some on a couple of windows in my apartment. I live on the first floor so I need to take some extra safety precautions.
They work really well... it would be almost impossible to lift the window past this thing, and for that I am grateful! The only issue is that I can't open the window past the wedge, either! It's slightly adjustable - you can move it up and down the 8 inch velcro strip the wedge attaches to, but that all the movement you'll get out of it. So I only put it on a couple of windows that I don't mind being unable to open all the way!

Soaks up bad smells like a sponge soaks up water.
This thing really works like they say it will... just open the lid and set it in your problem area and it will capture and neutralize all those nasty smells. I have one in my laundry room by my cat's litter box. It really helps... I can hardly smell the box anymore (the smell isn't completely gone, but it's way more under control and you have to be close up to actually smell it) and it releases a very subtle scent. It's not the greatest scent in the world (not the worst, either) but the point is it gets rid of the bad smell. I like that you don't have to spray anything, just set it there and let it go to work!

When I bought this for my bedroom it took it to a whole new level! This is great for books and anything else you need to set on something! You can set it up vertically or horizontally depending on your needs. Mine is up like in the picture, but I tried it on its side and it looks equally appealing. This design creates such an interesting shape for your wall.
It is made of engineered wood and covered with a wood grain finish. So it's not all real, but you can't even really tell. I had no problem assembling it by myself.

I don't know if you're going for a table and chairs set up or if something like this would suffice. This is a very handsome chair and would look beautiful in any front or back yard. It's a great place to lounge and have a cocktail, or your morning cuppa jo! You could buy a separate table, as well, to complete the set.
This chair is a solid all weather wood that doesn't require any maintenance... it's actually designed to weather into a gorgeous grey color. It's cool that they thought of that... purposely figuring out how to make it age well with no maintenance. The pillows are removable, too, so they can be washed.
This chair will add a great touch of class to any yard.

This workout is insane! it took me like 5 -6 times to even be able to get all the way through it! But now that I can, I am definitely stronger and more toned. The ab ripper 200 has you doing ten different sets of 20 sit ups in all sorts of postions. It's by the p90x guy, so you know it's hard. I really only have great things to say about this routine. It really pushes you to the limit, and if you do it correctly you will get that 6 pack!

I am a big fan of the wrap around style lens. It just means more protection from the scorching sunlight, especially important when you're on the lake! These polarized lenses provide 100% UVA and UVB protection and are light, durable and comfortable. The accutint technology provides added contrast of the world without distorting the colors. Great for any outdoor activity.

I think these would be perfect for your purposes. They're more designed for sound quality than sound quantity, which, in my humble opinion, is the only way to go. Anything louder than this is just absurd and unnecessary.
These handle 1200 watts with ease, and the polypropylene cone helps with wear and tear, extending the life of your investment. These woofers come with mounting hardware, a manual, and a warranty card (make sure you fill it out and send it back right away!)
These are sure to add a beautiful low presence to your car stereo system.

This is the only sauce I eat any more! It's really cheap and really tasty! I love the combination of sweet and hot, so honey chipotle is right up my ally. I think this is available at most any grocery store, and it's seriously like 1 or two dollars. I don't know how it's so cheap and so darn good.
I use it on my BBQ chicken and my bonzai burgers (with pineapple slices..mmmmmm). It's awesome! The sauce is the boss!

I think this is a must have for any serious jeep owner. You gotta be able to bump a little bit when your off roading! These are pretty nice speakers that put out a generous amount of sound. It sits above you, right behind the center hoop. Wiring it might be tricky if you have no prior experience with it, so look into getting it installed.

I think this is just a really fun hobby for any guy who loves beer. With this kit you can make 5 gallons of delicious, American style lager (and other beer, too but it comes with the ingredients for the lager. It comes with al the hops, malt, and specialty grains you need get brewin' right away, using a traditional process that's hundreds of years in the making. Great for anyone who is passionate about beer!

This book is wonderful for any style of creative writing. Covers lots of tactics and ideas involving character development, plotting and drafting. Assumes the same outline as 'The Art of War' with sections on reconnaissance, tactics, and strategy, but your enemy is the page and you own mind. A very interesting read for anyone diving into the endless pool of writing.

This vacuum sucks! In a good way! It is really small and lightweight (only 7 1/4 lbs) and cordless - perfect for small spaces. It has an energy star rated 18 volt lithium ion battery that doesn't mess around, and doesn't slowly die out. It keeps going full strength until it dies. It can do carpet and bare floors and even has edge cleaning bristles. The only difficult thing is cleaning stairs. i don't know what t is about this thing, but it's really hard to maneuver up and down my stairs! Other than that it's an A+ Vacuum.

Wow this is another great first album. It's almost smooth jazz, but not like Kenny G or anything. It's actually high quality jazz music with amazing musicians, just on the lighter side. Stan Getz is one of the all time greatest, and on this recording he plays with legendary vocalist Joao Gilberto (Girl from Ipanema), whose seductive, Brazilian voice pulls you in and you can't do anything until the album is over!

This is waaaaaay more than just a panini press! First of all, this thing makes a mean panini. It has adjustable temperature settings and a floating style cover to adjust to the thickness of the food that you put in there. It's stainless steel, and the cooking plates are removeable and dishwasher safe. The coolest part is that it comes with a bunch of different style cooking plates and opens up flat, so you can switch between an open grill, panini press, pancake griddle, full flat griddle, and more. This is a great piece of equipment!

I like the old style carbonator, and I'm not changing any time soon! I've used these for a while now... I love my carbonated water and need a steady supply, but buying them all the time is far too expensive. All you do is fill this guy with really cold water, screw in the charger, shake for like 10 - 12 seconds, and put it in your fridge for awhile to let the carbonation happen (about an hour). It's really easy, but you do have to plan ahead a little bit. The only problem is that when you run out, you have to wait for some time till the next batch is ready. Not good for entertaining, but good for just me! You get about 32 oz of water from each charger, and can order more online for like 34 cents each (you can find 100 chargers for $34), so it's very affordable!

This would be a sweet gift if he doesn't have one yet. It's really easy to use, all you need is a wireless internet connection and a $9/month subscription to netflix and you can stream almost any movie you can think of directly on your tv. You need an HDMI cord, too... find one at Walmart for 40 bucks.

Look no further, my friend! i have the same problem, though mostly in the winter time. This thing is super loud (113 db, in case you care), vibrates violently, and flashes red lights all over your room. If you sleep through this you have a serious problem. It has all the normal alarm clock features, too. You will not sleep through this!

This game is surprisingly fun for kids and adults. I'm sort of against psp's and gaming consoles and such because it takes away from family time so much. That's why I always recommend games like this. You look for items out the window like certain road signs and buildings and stuff. Each board is unique, so you won't have the same answers as the person sitting next to you. Lots of fun on a budget!

This is a really nice "just in case" tool to have on you at all times. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a leatherman, so it's not a good replacement for one, rather it's a good addition. It has a larger knife than your typical leatherman or swiss army knife, and has a magnesium fire starter... a must for emergency situations. The fire starter rod is tough to use at first, though. Might require a little practice.

Buy this before you buy an overrated razor! It's perfect for beginners and pros alike. Beginners features include: extra wide deck for stability, front and back breaks for safety, and big wheels so you don't have to worry about crashing on small rises. Pro features include: solid magnesium deck for ultimate durability, extra low deck for the fastest possible ride, and the dual brakes are nice for doing tricks and in case you get going too fast! It's also pretty compact and is foldable for ultimate portability!

This is a great universal system. I have an Explorer that they seem to fit nicely on, I'm sure an expedition would be the same. I'm not super tech savvy, so I ended up paying like 140 bucks to have someone come install it for me... no big deal. You can do it yourself, but you have to connect it to a power source, which was trickier than I thought! But the unit is awesome, with its hi def, 8.8 inch touchscreen technology (touchscreen isn't for in-play functions like play/pause, but for menu functions like brightness... there is a remote for play/pause stuff). I think the headrest style dvd player is a better option than the fold up style screen that hangs from the ceiling because it doesn't create any obstruction of the road. I also like the wireless headphones. This is a great road trip saver!

Ha ha ha I know this is super outdated and soooo ten years ago or whatever, but this stuff pumps me up! I listen to Linkin Park when I'm fightin' my punching bag or jogging. It's kind of heavy and intense, but not over the top. I don't even generally listen to this type of music, but it's great for working out!

I highly suggest buying this bike... you'll never have to worry about training wheels... ever! It's such a great concept for youngsters. The bike has no pedals or chains or even spokes to get your shoelaces caught in. It's just a sturdy wooden frame with wheels, a seat and handlebars. The reason it's so great is that your child will learn acute balance and motor skill immediately upon using it (you push it along with your feet... they describe it as 'Flintstone style'). It is possible that your child will be a little too small for it right away, but I still highly suggest it, as they will be eager to grow into it! Also, it's made of wood, unlike the cheap plastic I know some of these kids bikes are made of.

All I did in the summertime when I was young (and embarassingly enough still sometimes to this day) is have super soaker battles! They are so much fun for hours and hours. We used to gather a bunch of buddies and go in the forest in my backyard (not too far from a water source...) and set up capture the flag games with super soakers. There are so many new versions now! This one shoots 25 feet and looks really cool... it's one huuuge blast of water instead of a little useless stream. You can't go wrong with these toys!

This is a great little unit for a smaller space, especially if you are trying to save water (which we should all be doing), whether it be for environmental or financial reasons! I put this dishwasher in my home after my ancient one finally quit on me... and thank god it did! It's only 18" wide so just going by the smaller size it's going to save some water. It is energy start compliant, and has 7 different wash cycles and 4 temperature settings. This is key when looking to save water/energy because you don't want to be using a heavy wash cycle for a light load... this is a huge waste. I have also noticed that it is very quiet (especially compared to my old one!)

If you have any outdoor space, I would highly recommend this grill. It has all the features of a full size power house grill at the right price and size for the urban dweller. It's sleek design is very desirable for anyone with style in mind, and includes a stainless steel lid and face plate. It utilizes infrared technologies, so basically there is a heat plate above the flame to disperse the heat evenly and catch dripping to prevent flare ups. Also good for putting wood on to customize your flavor. Each burner has its own thermometer to ensure even cooking. This thing is the real deal and is a much used addition to my apartment.

It's important to find a unit that is built with high quality materials. This Denon is built really well, with a solid, heavy base that minimizes vibrations and disturbances in your listening session. It plays 33's and 45's, and has push button start, so you don't have to worry about putting the super delicate needle down on your super delicate record (you can do it manually too, if you want to). This unit is nice because it has a built in pre-amp and a built in phono equalizer, so you can plug it into any receiver input in case there is no phono input. You can also turn off the pre-amp if you already have one. I think in general this turntable is great for the things I listen to, like jazz and light rock. Probably not ideal for big noise or parties or anything, but the sound quality is quite high at low volume levels.

For right around your price range you can get a petty decent set of phones! These are awesome. I use them on my business travels. I consider myself a music enthusiast, so I need a headphone that can deliver high sound quality and little to no external sound pollution. These boast an 85% noise reduction, due not only to their noise canceling function, but their double housing foam insulated ear cushions (which happen to be very comfortable). The noise cancellation has an on/off switch, runs on one AAA battery, and can go about 50 hours before you need to change it (which is good because changing the battery actually involves taking one headphone slightly apart..). Comes with a four foot detachable cord, an airline adaptor and a 1/4 inch adaptor... really nice if you have an electric piano like I do that needs the 1/4 inch! These are great headphones, but keep in mind they are over ear phones, not surround phones. They don't make a complete seal around you ear, so the noise canceling isn't quite as effective!

Sleek and sophisticated are some adjectives that come to mind here! I have one of these and it works great and is very quiet. Also, it doesn't require any coolants, so I like to think it's a little more eco friendly.

This offers a slightly different way to open a can. It cuts around the edge instead of inside the rim, leaving no sharp edges. Nothing's worse that a sharp can slice on your finger! Ouch! Has a nice coating for ultimate comfort and grip.

I love how the picture looks like the computer is falling and about to crash into the ground... hopefully this won't happen to yours! It's made of magnesium-aluminum, so it shouldn't break, even if dropped. This ultra sleek, lightweight computer was designed specifically for travelling. Even has 4 Gb whole of memory... ha it's not a ton but it's good enough for a man on the go!

I guess this bed is somehow supposed to cool your dog... it's actually a water bed for dogs! Don't worry... it won't pop, it's extremely durable and can even be used outside. I like it because it's understated and not even noticeable in the corner.

This isn't really a recipe book as much as it's a lifestyle change. Knowing about whole foods and actually eating them can drastically improve your health and weight, as you will get rid of all those toxins and poisons found in processed foods. Reading this book will change the way you think about food.

These are sweet tables. This one is three-goalie style, which is nice because it eliminates the need for the ramps in the corners (so the ball doesn't get stuck). I can't tell you how many hours I have wasted at this table... but oh man is it fun.

We've been using this one for about a year in my small office (for real estate) and we love it! Kodak claims that it has the lowest ink replacement cost in its class. They also say their patented ink with pigments in it (instead of dye) makes for richer, more beautiful colors. I can't really say if that is true or not, but the pictures it prints are of very high quality.

I got this vizio system to go with my vizio flatscreen. Now, I'm no acoustics expert or anything but I can recognize a good sounding system when I hear one, and this one definitely sounds great. I mounted the two satellite speakers behind me on either side of the couch, put the sound bar under the TV and stuck the wireless woofer under my couch. I love watching movies like this! Especially loud stuff... it just enhances the viewing so much.

My girlfriend has this gps and we live in Chicago. We use it almost everyday to get where we need to go... supermarket, movie theater, restaurants, etc. You can even look up topics if you don't know the address. For example, if you want to find a Best Buy you just type it in and it will find it! The ONLY downside is that sometimes in a big city, where there are tons of roads in close proximity, it can get confused and think you are on a road nearby that you're not actually on! So you have to pay attention!

If you're talking about all weather bags, it sounds like you're maybe getting into some nasty weather and exciting stories. The last this you want is to be under-equipped out in the wilderness! This bag is good up to -50 degrees, stuffed with 750 premium fill down. Its Tactel nylon shell is water/weather resistant, and its light 5 lb design makes it great for exploring!

North face just makes fantastic outdoor products. This is a three season mummy bag for kids, but was made with all the same design specifications for the adult bag, so you know it's rugged. The inside liner is really soft and it even has a kid friendly easy-zip feature.

Lionel makes one heck of a model train... I like this one because I've always thought the Wild West theme was really cool....takes me back to my childhood! This particular train was modeled after the 4-4-0 steam locomotive from around 1850. It goes forwards, backwards, has smoke, and an array of sound effects, including a whistle and a steam chugging sound that is synchronized with the speed of the train. And, of course, what wild west train would be complete without a shootout? None! This train has a shootout train featuring the lone ranger.

If you are into Gran Turismo (like me and anyone who appreciates good driving games) you need this wheel. It's perfect for GT because it was designed for it! You gotta go with a mac! I just made the big switch from pc to mac and haven't looked back. Macs are so easy to use, they're worth the slightly higher price tag. Why? Super easy, super fast, no viruses, don't have to deal with windows, and if anything goes wrong, the apple store will gladly help you out, whether it be online or at the physical store. Absolutely worth the money!

This thing is real heavy and real powerful. It gets all sorts of stains out of your floor. It's great at my house, which is a ranch style home and I don't have to lug it up and down any stairs. I also have kids, so I know how tough those stains can be! This thing is the real deal, though, so I only recommend it if you are real serious about getting your carpet clean.

Ok try to describe to someone the word 'baseball' without using the words batter, pitcher, umpire, outfielder, short stop or the words 'base' or 'ball'.... aaaaaahhh it's really hard! That's pretty much how this game goes, but their clues are a lot harder than mine. Super fun and intense because a timer is involved...

If you're in the market for sturdy, outdoor, weather resistant furniture, aluminum is always a good bet. Aluminum in it's very nature is rust proof, and the fact that it is relatively light weight (compared to similar cast iron or steel models) is a huge plus. This particular set has beautiful, thin lines and large comfy cushions. I love my set... be ready, though... assembly required!

I run 2-4 miles on this machine everyday and and it's been incredibly dependable. You can't get a better machine for the price. It has a large belt (60X20), up to 15% incline and speeds of up to 11 MPH. It also comes with an outstanding two year warranty, and easily folds for storage. This being said, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone trying to do serious, hard core training. Though the frame IS sturdy (I have had no issues with it), overusing a less expensive model can cause it to wear down over time. If you are training for marathons, invest in a commercial grade unit. Also, keep in mind that the older Sole F80 models have been discontinued, as they have come out with a brand new model for 2011.
