Super powerful. It will blend up anything! I also love the classic look of it.

40-ounce, ribbed-and-tapered glass container
Classic beehive-shaped base with rubber feet for stability

5 speed with fast engine. Can handle a lot of heavy duty blending work. Durable as well. I've had it for a year, and it is holding up nicely.

I am really a big fan of the foldable options. They fold up nicely, but then give you a full size keyboard to type on when unfolded (for some reason, I just don't feel right typing on those mini keyboards). Runs on 3 AAA batteries, and has some handy quick launch keys to help with productivity.
I really like the fold-up keyboard. Fold out to full size, but folds up nice and small, and comes with carrying case for portabliity. Charges via USB, so you never need batteries. Feels good to type on.
Nice feel to it. Up to 7 mos of battery life. Comfortable and compact. Supports tablets running iOS, Windows and Android operating systems.

I have to agree. 7 inches is a great size. Easy to read. Huge collection of books, mags, and video. Great web browser and lots of easy to access must have apps.

Gets great marks in consumer reviews for color and definition. You even get great quality 3D with this thing (glasses sold separately) if that's your thing. For me, I like to show off Sunday games on a giant screen over some cold brews. For that, it's pretty darn perfect.

I had a nephew get an Advent and was beyond disappointed. It may be cheap, but spend a little bit more, and get yourself a reliable machine.

A Nvidia graphics card, a lot of RAM, and as fast a processor as you can get. :)

Really depends on your use. If it's general use but maybe you run a lot of programs simultaneously and want to video and photo edit. If that's the case, in my opinion, you can't beat a Mac Book. If you are into gaming though, you may prefer to get a Windows based PC. Either way, that's a nice budget to get what you want.
High quality 3D. Swivel screen. 100,000:1 contrast ratio. 2ms response time, great for gaming. I've been satisfied with it.

This is really a killer monitor. Broad color support, rich visual quality. Great for Photoshop and watching films. Overall fantastic monitor.
First of all, these are super dope looking. Secondly, you are going to get killer sound. built-in Apple AirPlay audio-streaming capabilities. Ample speaker drivers--two 1-inch tweeters, two 3-inch midrange drivers, and one 5-inch woofer. You can most DEFINITELY ROCK OUT! A bit pricey, but if you have the cash to spare, a great system!

These are solid. Sound good. Comfortable, and stay in ears! You can also choose your own color.

My girlfriend bought one of these for the keyboard. It gets top marks in the keyboard department, and she really likes it.

I just recently got an iPhone, and god I love it. If you're a big app person, I don't know how you can be disappointed.

A touching Big Boss story. Big Boss has to investigate the reappearance of his dead mentor. You can replay levels to make your army better/ stronger. Can play with friends via ad hoc play... a really cool game all around.

Fullmetal Alchemist.

I love my Macs... each one has lasted me over about five years without having to upgrade... I do have an Acer though for gaming, but I have also run Windows on some of my older Macs... if you think you are ever going to edit video or sound, I do think you've got a step up with Mac, as well as software only compatible with Mac. Add'l you have to worry less about viruses and hacking on a Mac. And Brandon is right, I've probably put mine through too much hell (and they're fairly expensive to repair) but I've kept them going for years.

Dell's a decent option... if you could bump your budge even slightly you might want to consider an Acer Aspire, but if this is where you gotta live, Dell is pretty good. Check out the tech details:
Processor Speed 1.0 GHz
Processor Type Intel Pentium
Memory Size 1.0 GB
Hard Drive Size 160 GB
Display Size 14.1"
Operating System Windows XP Pro, Windows XP Home

They stay on well, are comfortable, and the sound quality is excellent.

When gaming I have to say I really prefer to play with headphones with a mic attached. These will do the trick if you don't have a full on headset. When I play with ear buds I use an external mic attached to my desktop or PC.
Awesome surround sound. Awesome noise canceling mic. Really comfortable ear cups as well.

If you are in the market for Honeycomb, the Transfomer is an awesome tablet. The Honeycomb now also has many many apps, so social networking is easy. I love how thin and light this tab is, as well as the slick keyboard accessory.

I really love my iPad. As far as photo and video display, I would say it's a great option. Also, check out the Portfolio app, it's a great way to display and archive visual work. Good luck!

I like my IPad for music because it so easy to integrate with iTunes and all my other devices. Also compatible with so many speaker systems. Just plug and play. For me, ti was a no brainer, but I'm also a Mac junkie.

Lenovo gets top marks for speed and reliability--basically what you need most in a general purpose all-use laptop. Great energy saving features, and up to 30 hours of battery life. Also, easy to carry. Pretty much ideal for office, home, work, school, whatever you may need.

Sony Vaio is really nice and fast for the price. Also has a nice combo of monitor size and portability. You also get 4 USB ports and SATA connections, so you are ready to design quickly without your eyes getting too strained on a small screen.
Great cooling and streaming technology--so you can use it with your entertainment system in your dorm. Also nice and fast and portable. Great for every day use, and the added entertainment features, a bonus.

Sony Bravia has "motion flow technology" which does help with lag times in FPS games. It comes loaded with high quality digital video processors which help back up their "motion flow" tech claims. All the inputs you'll need to hook up gaming systems: 4 HDMI, 2 component, 2 composite, 1 PC, 1 USB, 1 optical digital audio output, and a nice price.
Just about the best zoom you can get on a pocket camera. Cool setting for indoor and outdoor subject matter. Super high pixel rate. Cool panorama setting as well. I also like the old school viewfinder on the camera. Nice 720p with sound at 30 frames per second HD movie function. Kind of a cool in between of a point and shoot and major DSLR.

I'd say if you a big Sonic Fan and have a yearning for nostalgia, it is worth it. The levels are super fast paced, and the music is really cool. I personally think it is one of the best Sonics in years, and haven't gotten bored yet, also if you found it for just $15 that is a good price!

Remove spyware, do a disk clean-up and a defrag, if you don't have Windows 7 yet, upgrading would also help.

I feel like Kindle Fire has to be on the list. While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of an iPad, it is a great machine with an amazing app selection, at a great price.
The curated Amazon app store is pretty cool. Pretty much any app you could ever ask for. Great price as well. You do have to be okay without extra bells and whistles ala camera, mic, and GPS, but otherwise a great tablet!
Really fast. Big, beautiful 8.9-inch capacitive screen. Light and thinner than the iPad, but with all the bells and whistles.
Nice viewing angle and looks good if you calibrate it right. Sounds is ok, you might want to invest in add'l speakers. Doesn't come with an HDMI cable, but has HDMI hook-up capabilities. Really nice TV for the price.
Ebay has some decent nice options in that price range, mainly custom built. Lots of memory. Dual core fast processor. Onboard 3D graphics accelerator. There are other options in addition to this on eBay custom built for gaming, so seems it might be a good way to go for your price range.
A fun little basic point and shoot. 14MP of resolution, a 2.7-inch LCD screen, and 720p HD video recording. Comes in various body colors.
Has a great zoom and a fantastic zeiss lens (what Sony is known for). A 10-megapixel back-illuminated sensor, a 10x zoom, a built-in GPS, and a very clever way of capturing stable images in low light, it should score you some great pics out in the field!
Does well in low light and fits in your pocket! The large image sensor and bright lens help, as does its proven track record. It is one of the best selling cameras out there.

Amazon is currently offering a points card for XBox Live... Did a bit of looking and didn't see a ton of deals currently out there... You might also earn points through MS purchases. Definitely check in on any Microsoft purchases you've made recently to see if you earned any points.

This one is super simple, and nice-looking. All you have to do is attach it to the wall (you'll need a drill) and then it will simply hold your plate when you place it in. There are several different types of plate holder models, so it kind of depends on what you're looking for. Hope this helps!

Super comfy. Excellent sound quality. Noise isolation is rather amazing. You can have your own party with these despite noise going on around you.

First off, here are some really nice iPhone prices. I don't think you need the latest version unless you can't live without a talking lady.

Quick load times, excellent Blu-ray image quality, and nice streaming services. Great machine.

Nice wide backlight display. NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M with 1 GB of GDDR3 discrete graphics memory (3793 MB of total available graphics memory)
6 GB of installed DDR3 RAM (1333 MHz; expandable to 8 GB)
750 GB Serial ATA hard disk drive (5400 RPM)

Nice size. Fits in your pocket so you can take it anywhere.

I feel like you can't quite get everything Macbook has to offer, but I do like the fully loaded Sony Vaio. Durable, fast, nice graphics, etc.

Got these for a camping trip. They have a 35 mile range, and they worked like a charm. Lots of nice add'l features too like a flashlight, weather channels and emergency button.

What can I say, I'm an Old Spice guy. Scent lasts for hours.

I really like the amount of protection this case provides. It's a little more pricey, but way more rugged than a sleeve, and you can count on your computer staying safe inside it.

I am gonna go classic NES on this question. Battle Toads is still challenging me to this day,

Obviously kind of different depending on age, but for youngsters who already love Sesame Street characters, this is a nice option.

The quality of this case is so great, I went with this, and then bought a separate arm band for jogging.

If it is going to be a gift, kind of cool to personalize it.

Great screen quality. 1080p, and comes with a two year warranty. I am very happy with it.

A big trend is colored jeans. Anything but traditional blue is in. If you can pull off red or white, go for it. If you don't want to go as crazy, these dune colored jeans will go with just about anything.

These Gucci sneaks are pretty darn dope. Anything Gucci is going to be fancy, and expensive. If money is no object, though, they're pretty sweet.

You can't really go wrong with a classic black blazer, but I would also say, don't rush out and buy all new clothes for your interview. if you do buy something new, take it for a test run before the interview, as what is most important is feeling comfortable and confident.
Definitely will keep you very warm, and for 3 bucks you can't beat the price.

Comfortable and breathable. I've worn it in the gym and as an undershirt for days I know I will get sweaty.
Great tasting for sugar free... pretty delish hot or cold.

This case is compatible with a ton of cameras (maybe you own already) just in case you don't want to invest fully in a new camera. It worked great for me for a trip to Hawaii where I used it in the water almost every day.

I really like the Mothers brand products. This does a great job on tough stains on upholstery and car carpets.

For the trip I mentioned I took, riding my bike across the southwest, I invested in a CountourHD camcorder. I wore it and used a mount, both. The video quality is pretty great. Since they are specifically made for bike riders you can also invest in all kinds of accessories you may need for riding-- water proof cases, etc.
Oh cool! I got a camera mount when I took a ride around the greater Southwest on my bike. I caught such great stuff. I really like the Ram Camera mounts (I bought the venom model): http://www.ram-mount.com/camera_mount/camera_mount... Amazon does have some, but they mainly carry the suction cup based model which is not sturdy enough for a bike. If you do want to save money, might be an ebay buy, but I do recommend the product new from the source, especially if you are going for a long ride.

Something with a steel toe should definitely keep you protected out there. I've owned a couple of pairs of Timberlands in my life and they are work horses.
Really great, intense sound (shuts out other sound around you). Also, have really great range. I could only find the 120 model on the German Amazon page, so you might want to shop around for the 110 model (more affordable). http://www.amazon.de/Sennheiser-RS120-RS-120-Kopfh...

I dig these because they are easy to travel with a few in my glasses case whenever I ned them.

Definitely a GPS. More handy and useful in my book. And in some states a radar detector is illegal. Maybe a GPS that could be used both in and out of the car would be cool (i.e. also for hiking). Extra handy! :)

Nice and lightweight with a pouring lid. Easy to clean. Two thumbs up.

To play in the car, or a game involving cars? If it is just to play in the car, I would say go with Angry Birds. Sooooo addicting. Silly premise--some pigs are after some birds and you have to save the birds's lives, but so fun: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rovio.an...

Here's a nice list from Edmund's of what you need to change your own. Good on ya for that. What you need to keep in mind is how you will dispose of dirty oil when you are done. You can take it to an auto shop, and you might have to pay a disposal fee:
a 3/8-drive socket set (metric will work for both)
a combination wrench set (closed- and open-ended, metric)
an oil filter wrench
something to catch the old oil -- an oil pan, a used kitchen basin, a kid's pail
a couple of empty one gallon milk containers with screw-on lids.
a funnel and a one quart Ziploc baggie
a lot of old newspapers and several dirty rags
presoiled work clothes and, if you have long hair, a baseball cap
two pair surgical gloves (optional; no, we won't ask you to cough)
a new oil filter (see vehicle's owner's manual for requirements)
enough oil to refill the engine (check back page of owner's manual for grade and number of quarts); we recommend name brands, such as Valvoline, Castrol, Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil, etc.

This was a little difficult to put on, but once I had it on, I now really like it. Got it save my wheel from wear and tear in a lease car. So far so good.

The ME66 is a really popular entry level mic. For your outside shots you will definitely want to boom it. I would say the ME66 delivers somewhere between YouTube quality and theatrical sound. It is known to get hot, but if you have a good audio guy for post you will likely be just fine. To be fully honest, it is really tough to recommend a truly great mic for under $500 bucks, but this often the go-to mic in your price range. Good luck.

I am down with the natural look as well.

Individual slots for your clubs. Nice big pockets. Nice size bag overall (I would say it is on the large size), but I am happy with it for the price I paid.

I've owned two aerobeds in life, as I have only had to own two, as they've held up that well. Pretty comfy, and easy to inflate. Here are the specs:
-Queen-sized inflatable bed for guests, sleepovers, and travel
-Constructed of puncture-resistant, heavy-gauge, non-allergenic PVC vinyl
-AC pump inflates bed in just 60 seconds; release valve deflates it in 15 seconds
Interior coil construction for support and comfort; velvety sleeping surface
-78 by 60 by 8 inches, inflated; includes storage bag; holds 750 pounds

this is the complete package, really preps you fully for the exam and gives you study guides you can practice again and again. For my money, better than a class.

I bought these Athena's for my weekly game. I like them a lot. They keep the sweat off well, and are breathable, and flexible.

I have used a hypnotist to help me quit smoking and to get over a few other long-harbored fears I have had. I would ask around in your city for good recommendations. I know it sounds crazy, but it helped me quit smoking. If your fear is overwhelming, maybe worth a shot? Good luck.

If you can afford a few kinos, they are worth the investment, especially because you are going to be in an environment that you can actually control. If you can't buy you can definitely rent within that budget. These lighting houses made it on the city website, so I am assuming they have fair prices (although I've never shot in NYC): http://www.nyc.gov/html/film/html/discounts/camera...

You don't have to spend an arm and a leg to get a great Sony DSLR. This model is light weight and easy to use (smaller than many other DSLRs) and I am really happy with the photo quality. It's also fast, and does well in low light. The battery life is not perhaps up to par with other DSLRs, so I definitely recommend buying additional batteries. Every once in awhile, if you are doing a ton of shooting, it might over heat, but overall, I really love this camera, and it's really nice to have a compact DSLR option out there.
I bought these for my nephew headed off to college to keep his stuff safe in his dorm room. (You can't be too careful). So far, no complaints, and no theft. He says they are easy to use and he's already re-sent the combo once. Better safe than sorry.

I like this one because the power switch is on the side instead of on the top. Saves a lot of people from accidentally turning off the power. Works well, and at 7 bucks you really can't beat the price.

Kelty is a nice brand of tent and they made this lower-end version, but really if you replaced the fiber glass poles for aluminum ones you would have a really nice tent. It is a bit small... I am almost 6 feet, and I feel a bit cramped in it, but for smaller people, would be nice. It does do well in the rain. The water proofing is pretty good. I haven't been in an out and out downpour, but in the rain I have been in, it has done well.

The only thing that truly worked for me was committing to walk and/ or run every day. I got a treadmill to keep me motivated on days I didn't make it outside. It was worth it to me to have it right there in my house.

This is a really nice price for a nice netbook. I really love the full-sized keyboard (many netbooks don't have a full-on keyboard. The specs are pretty standard for a computers in this vein: 1G RAM, 250Gb HD, 3 USB ports, basic video camera, separate Mic & headphone jacks, sd card slot, vga output and a very useful 8h battery life. Very nice, if you are just looking for your basics for travel.

Sounds pretty great considering the price. It also comes with an XLR cable so you can additionally plug into a smaller amp, or to record. I've been happy with it both for gigging and home use.

This is a nice back for your mentioned easy overnighter style trip. It has a built-in hydration pack, cross over front straps for easy carry, and nice extra pockets for easy organization. Happy hiking.

This is not a bad little camcorder if you are going to be shooting in well lit areas. It does come with a rig on top to add a battery powered light, and if you are going to be shooting indoors, a light investment might be worth it. There's no external mic jack with this one, so you will have to rely on the onboard which is decent. If you are looking for a family camera, maybe particularly for outdoor sporting events, not a bad option. I do have to agree with the other reviewers though, now for the money with the digital revolution happening there are better cameras available for the price.

Nice picture quality, and cool night shot mode. There was very little set-up time with this. All you have to do is format your DVDs and then you are ready to roll. You can store about 30 mins to an hour of footage per DVD depending on what quality of footage you are shooting. You can also store both photos and video on the same DVD. Here are your specs:
1/6-inch CCD imager with 3.3-megapixel resolution
Compatible with DVD-R/-RW/+RW formats
10x optical zoom with digital image stabilization
2.7-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio LCD
Dolby digital 5.1 audio recording

I really do think that the Flip is the best around in this price point. Check out my previous review: The Flip is about as easy to use as they come. It also has 1GB of storage, holding up to 60 minutes of footage. The built in software lets you easily share and edit videos. If you want to edit on a program other than the included software though, you will need to download a program to convert the footage. You will also probably want to buy a USB extension cord as the USB plug in arm is cumbersome, and easy to break off. Overall, just about the easiest to use camera ever.

This is a nice price point for a saddle, and available in 15 inches, 16 inches, or 17 inches. It also only weighs 19 lbs, so it is nice for a female rider. I have own Wintecs, and have found them to be a comfy ride. Happy riding!

This sandal is unbelievably comfortable. I can take long walks in it just as easily as I can walk around the house. I do like the straps for support in case I want to take a walk on a hot summer day and don't want to put on tennis shoes.

These glasses are fully adjustable so they should fit your face no matter what. I went with these for comfort and for the polarized lenses because I sometimes hunt in Florida where the sun is INTENSE. They are also ventilated so your face will stay cool. Happy hunting!

Okay, I haven't played in awhile but this set reminded me the most of what we used to wear in gym class that seemed darn hard to yank off at the time. Sounds like fun!

You can adjust the levels of this light, and it comes with a remote that doubles as a flashlight. It's nice and light and battery operated. Happy camping!

If you're actually in NYC, check out this bike shop: http://bicyclehabitat.com/ and they will help get you set up with everything you need. I'm old fashioned and really can't buy a bike from the net. I have to go ride it first.

The thing I like best about this nail gun is that it has never jammed. The height adjustment is also very easy to use. It's always easier to get nails in tight places with this gun based on where they have placed the safety. Overall, I've been satisfied with this product.

I recommend North Face. I don't have any kids, but I have owned two of these packs and they both have been incredibly durable, traveling with me through many countries. Additionally, they come in fun colors. Who wouldn't want a Chili Pepper red backpack?

Really nice bass sound. You might need some help with professional install/ tweaking to get your audio just right (and not too loud). JL Audio has been around since 1975 and started selling speakers like these in the 80s. It's always reassuring to me when a brand has been around for awhile.

I can't quite help airing on the side of an attractive fan. These do have an energy star rating also. They also sell some pretty cool but pricier five blade fans. I grew up in Florida and we did upgrade to some five grad fans when I was a teenager, and they'd cool the house down real fast. Something to consider.

I got my sister a baby bouncer when she was pregnant. The bouncer has survived two babies now. A bouncer also seems to be an item where you can almost chose what you want to spend as the price range spans from 30 bucks to well over 100. I just tried to read safety ratings and then I picked the one that I thought looked the coolest. ;)

You can play media off an external USB drive with this monitor, or an external DVD player. Has worked well for my sister in her car with her kids. I sit in the back with them and they are so engaged in Sponge Bob that I have to wait until the end of the car ride to visit with them.

You can use this fridge as a built-in or freestanding. I have this on my patio, and it keeps beverages icy cold. Haven't had it that long, but so far no complaints. It stores a case of beer and then some.

Okay, this is pricey, but you are getting a restaurant quality oven. Don't know how much you are going to be putting it through its paces but it is actually less expensive than other smaller, options. Happy cooking!

Great hidden object game where the hidden object plays a role but doesn't override a good mystery. There's unlimited hints to finding the objects, which are needed, because this game isn't easy.

Great suggestion! Wish I had taped more stuff surrounding my wedding.

As a beginner you should go for an oversized racquet head. It might be worth investing a little more so the racquet lasts you a little while. Maintaining a racquet by buying new strings and changing grips can make the racquet go a really long way. Good luck!

I am not a runner, but I am a HUGE walker. I walk ten to twelve miles on the weekend and I can't recommend these shoes enough. If you are at all prone to easy foot injuries, New Balance are designed to help prevent Plantar Fascia with their arch supports.

Really good value for money. 1GB of storage space, that's over 6400 photos! Plays video and AVI files also.

Has a nice chest strap sensor and all the features of the Iron Man watch. The only downside for me, is you can't upload the data to your computer.

Oh, fun! Night vision spy stuff/ hunting tools. I love these guys and take them out for night fishing. They truly are clear and bright at night.

I own these and they sound amazing! Bass is silky smooth. They also have a noise isolation phones that are also amazing. Tune out EVERYTHING if you travel.

Smooth engine and pretty heavy duty. I've mowed my mother's lawn in Florida with this, and that grass is THICK! It also has a lifetime warranty which makes it an easy purchase.

If you're looking for fast, this is fast indeed. There are occasionally errors, but the speed is worth it.

Every guy needs a good pair of board shorts. Opt for some subtle colors and they will be good for in and out of the water.

Another nice starter option if you are just starting out. You get a whole plug and play set-up. You get an on-board preamp and tuner, The on-board tuner with 7-segment LED makes it really easy to tune. There's even an instructional DVD. I bought this for my girlfriend when she first started playing.

A nice summer option and waterproof jacket... unless you're out there racin... then you'll need some more protection for sure.

Nice and compact and easy to use... wish it was guaranteed game improver though... can't do a thing for my crooked swing. I like it though. Look for combo pack deals and a scope and protective carrying pack with be included.

If you're just starting out, and depending on the gigs, a smaller and portable PA system might do it for you. If you're already playing bigger gigs you're likely also going to have to make a bigger investment. Good luck!

You really can't lose with a Macbook Pro. If you are a casual editor, it's a great way to go. If you are going to edit a lot you might need to consider a desktop so you have more power/ speed. Make sure you buy a pro model though as you are going to want to have Firewire for a faster harddrive and the regular Macbooks no longer come with Firewire.

Great idea to spice up the office and relax and step away from the desk! I've got this one on my porch but after reading your question I think I will also add one in my office.

Frigidaire also comes with cleaning filters, and it has kept my studio apartment cool in the rare cases I have had to use it. Depending on where you live and your apartment lay-out, you should also consider a swamp cooler. You can easily roll it from room to room and cool it down as needed. Stay cool this summer.

Alright, it's hard not to go Game of Thrones on this one, especially if you are currently catching any of the red-hot HBO series. You get knights, wizards, bastards, and ladies from Martin. You will travel to multiple continents and go for quite a wild ride. Enjoy.

This is a great bow for big game. It's fast, accurate, easy to use, and very quiet. Happy hunting!

I am lusting after this model. It's zero emission, zero maintenance, and zero noise. I might hold out though as they same makers are working on a hybrid version which would be better suited for longer rides out of town. Right now though with this model you can charge for 2 hours and go around 62 miles or more, depending on the journey.
