This would be a good one for you, Edith. These are very good for medium high volume shredding. It has Anti-jamming technology (which actually seems to work quite well), can slice up to 18 papers at a time, and can run from 30-45 minutes.
Designed for an office environment, it should be able to withstand a fairly large amount of paper and other material. A large waste basket means you won't have to empty it every day. definitely a solid shredder.

This is the one you want man, for a few reasons.
First of all, it's a condenser mic. In short, condenser mics (as compared to dynamic mics) give you more accurate sound reproduction and just higher quality recording.
Next, it's a USB mic. Most mics have an XLR output (analog) and you need to buy an interface to change the signal to digital. But with a USB mic you can plug it directly into your computer... perfect for podcasts, or anything where you do not require live sound.
And the last reason this is a good choice is that it is made by an excellent audio company, Audio Technica.

This is actually a pretty nice keyboard. Razer makes some good stuff. Some people do complain that it flexes a little bit if you press too hard, but other than that it is a solid gaming keyboard. A cool feature is the anti-ghosting around the WASD gaming cluster.....also has fully programmable keys with macro capabilities.
One important thing to note is that this is the silver edition... they also have a keyboard with black text on the black keys, but this one has silver text on black keys.

With a 1 ms response time this thing will be super fast and have little to no ghosting, at all. perfect monitor for gaming.
I guess some people have received 'lemons'.... a couple units that went bad eventually, but you will find similar problems with many monitors.

Honestly, this is a difficult price range if you want high quality audio... slim pickins, as they say. But this looks like a pretty nice pair in the $20 range. Sometimes you will find a decent pair at a low price, and this might be it right here.
They have in-line volume control, microphone mute switch, and if you watch the videos on my ink (I did) you will see that they actually sound pretty good. As far as comfort, I don't know... you will have to see for yourself!

So for food I'm thinking macro photography, and the most important thing would be a good lens (and of course proper technique!). This Rebel will be excellent for macro stuff. I would recommend getting a tripod to help with any blur, because those closeups can be tricky. It has an articulating screen to help with weird angles that may come up with tripod use.

This is a good entry level guitar, especially if you're going for a 'metal' sound. Great for the up and coming metal head. You will be able to get that big sound that I think you are looking for. You should be able to buy it for closer to $250, so I would make sure to look around.
It's a great entry level guitar, but at a certain point in your development you may find it a bit restricting, in terms of its action and sound quality. I think you would be happy with it though!

Hey man I think a d7000 is right up your alley!
Comes in around $1400, which leaves plenty of room for buying a killer lens. (another issue entirely... but post another Q if you need some lens suggestions!)
The d7000 is perfect for low light shooting, and it's magnesium alloy body is designed to seal against dust and moisture. It's designed to be tough and ready to shoot even in nasty conditions.
For low light performance it has ISO 100 to 6400, expandable to ISO 25600 equivalent. With its DX-format CMOS image sensor and EXPEED 2 processing engine you are basically guaranteed high quality, low noise shots...assuming you know what you're doing.
This camera can do anything you throw at it! Now it's up to you to get the pics...

I think ipad 2 would be the best one for you, Candice. The reason is, Androids don't really do iTunes too well. You can sync itunes with an android, but it does require a third party app to do so. You probably have your music library on iTunes, so you should probably go a route that will enable easy access to all that content. Also, I heard you can't watch iTunes movies on Android devices... don't know if that is of any concern to you though.
If iTunes is not what you use, you could consider HP's touchpad tablet. It has some features geared at music lovers, including Dr. Dre's Beats Audio, which may be of interest to you.

This might be a little more than you want to spend but I think it's a good investment, as it will give you room to grow as you get better and better. I feel like if you buy too basic a camera you may outgrow it and might soon be looking for an upgrade.
This is the camera my wife and I own and it is an absolute pleasure to use. I am a beginner and she is more of an amateur... even I can get fantastic photos on this thing with minimal effort or knowledge.
It is not a dslr, which means you don't have the option of interchangeable lenses, but I imagine as a beginner that won't be an issue to you. Simplicity is important at this phase, so you can go out as soon as possible and start snapping some pics.
This camera gets incredible shots. We shoot inside, outside, sunlight, low light, sports, performances, nature... all just casually of course but we are always so happy with the results. I really like how simple the menus are, and in general all the buttons and dials are intuitive and self explanatory. It will require minimal effort to start taking great pictures. it also has a bunch of "Scene Modes' that will implement the correct settings on the camera, depending on your shooting conditions.
I think for picture quality and ease of use this is an excellent choice for you.

Man if you can afford that D7000 you should pick one up, because that is one helluva camera. For a slightly more affordable option you could also consider the 5100, as it is also fantastic for all types of shooting, including fast shutter speeds.
Its CMOS sensor offers a wide ISO range (100 to 6400) with low noise which enables you to shoot at faster shutter speeds and capture scenes and subjects with minimal blur.
It can also do continuous shooting at approx. 4 frames per second, which would look great for racing stuff.

Turtle Beach makes some excellent gaming headsets. It will be comfortable for hours on end, has good sound quality (going in and out), and is a very reasonable price. The mic is very sensitive and will pick up everything you say. It also has a built in amp to really crank out some big, realistic sounds. One more thing to mention is that they will do some passive noise canceling cutting down external noises just by the over-ear design.

This Acer looks like it has all the stuff you need. They claim more than 9 hours of battery life. This is probably an exaggeration, but most reviewer agree that the battery life is incredible. It looks really nice if you ask me, and is definitely compatible. Here are some of the specs on this guy:

Great TV right here. I think you will be quite happy with it. Occasionally Toshibas get what's called "vertical banding" which is just what is sounds like.... vertical lines that show up on your screen. However, this only happens occasionally, and Toshiba will help you out (assuming you're under warranty.)
Besides this possible setback, this is a good set. Image quality will be top notch. It's 1080p and has a solid refresh rate of 120Hz. You will really appreciate this when you are watching sports, or anything that is moving quickly on the screen.
Apparently the sound is surprisingly good and also there are plenty of inputs, like HDMI and stuff. I think you will appreciate this TV and it's picture quality. Definitely worth a look.

Everything about it looks solid to me: 1080p, full HD, 120Hz refresh rate, LED backlit, internet ready, reasonable price. It also has 4 colors represented. While most TV's only use red, green, and blue, Sharp has added the color yellow, allowing for colors that can't even be seen on most televisions. Now, you probably won't sit there and go "Wow look at those yellows! Never seen that color before!" But I think you will notice a fuller spectrum of vibrant, bright colors.
I like the internet connectivity. It means you can watch Netflix, Vudu or CinemaNow and have access to like millions of movies. You can also get apps or Facebook, Pandora, Twitter and more through Vudu.
Lots of possibilites here, you just gotta commit! Money well spent.

I personally think this would be an excellent choice for you. It will be slightly over $500, but not by much, and it even comes with a nice lens. You gotta go dslr if you want some really awesome pictures! Eventually you will want to consider getting a great landscape lens, like the Nikon AI-s... but it will probably cost you around $1000. You will want some sort of wide angle lens to really draw in the viewer.

Just under $250, I think you would be very happy with this camera. I think it will offer everything you want and be very easy to navigate for you. It will take some beautiful pictures for you, too.
Sometimes at this price range there is a tendency for companies to try and out-megapixel each other, tricking people into thinking that more megapixels equals better pictures. This is only true if your processor and can even deal with that many pixels! This Nikon can handle it though, and it will also be decent in low light with its 16.1 MP CMOS sensor that captures crisp photos whether low light, action, portrait or panoramas.
It has 14X zoom and a high res, LCD monitor.
One trade off here is that there is no view finder, just the screen. usually that \'s not a problem, but during the day it can become tough to see the screen sometimes.
This will be easy to use and give you the results you want. Definitely a good choice, and a good company!

I loooove my new wave keyboard. Sure, it's a bit too expensive, but my wrists needed a little break from my flat keyboard, and this was a welcome change. Definitely 'ergo' all the way. You can feel how your hands just set right on the keyboard with a natural, effortless touch. It's sort of in-between a flat keyboard and the more dramatice ergonomic ones, which is a nice compromise for me.
The one thing you should know is that it is BIG and will take up some space on your desk, so take that into consideration before buying.
But yes, it works for both Mac and PC.

This would be a good accessory for the rack for groceries. Unfold it, attach it to your rack and off you go. Then you can take it off when you're done so it's not always on there.

If you were interested in hardwiring a switch you could try this one. It replaces your switch with a digital programable timer that has up to 7 on/off settings per day.
It's actually super easy to use, basically once you set it up you don't have to mess with it too much afterwards. It even has a setting that can auto adjust to daylight savings time and stuff, so it will stay consistant.
This is good for long time use, like if you wanted to set a daily timer for when you are home, too (not just away).
It does have to be installed and some wiring is needed, so be ready to do it yourself of call an electrician!

This is the most used professional DJ laptop. Let's face it, macs are fantastic for anything music or art oriented. They just are. Ease of use and incredible engineering make them perfect for playing and manipulating music.

I would say this looks like an excellent bag for your purposes. It's got a padded laptop compartment that should hold a 15"+ laptop. This is what the 'experts' suggested to me when I redid my exterior paint job. The stuff is quite remarkable. It is a one coat deal, which makes the $50/can price tag a bit more reasonable. It's self priming, and super thick. Latex is like putting a coat of plastic on your exterior wall....nothing will permeate it.
If you're not sold yet, check this out: it's guaranteed not to blister or peel for as long as you own your home. That's a ridiculous guarantee that they wouldn't offer unless they were VERY confident about their product!

I would go with one of these Asus Eee Pads... I hear they're amazing at just about everything, and it sits up just like a laptop..... thus the 'transformer' title. This will be great for typing notes, with the proper app. However, I'm pretty sure that without Windows 7 you won't be able to use any sort of handwriting programs.... like the touch sensitive one that mimics your handwriting. I don't think androids can do that... soI guess it depends on what type of note-taking you need to do!

First of all, honeycomb 3.0 is awesome...wonderfully intuitive to use, and as far as I can tell this is the best tablet for running it.
The coolest thing about this tablet though is that it's basically a lap top that you can take the screen off and use as a tablet. The whole 'transformer' thing is a fantastic idea that, in my estimation, completely eliminates the need for a laptop. Connect the keyboard and VOILA! it's basically a laptop!
Also has great multi tasking abilities, and is obviously very portable.
From your home wifi connection you can actually access all the contents of your pc! How cool is that?!
Another key feature for being great at business use is the wide screen. Clarity is important in the business world, and operation of this thing is fluid, simple and fast, so you wont be left behind.

I also use a Logitech, but I prefer this model. I like the trackball because it's so much easier on my wrist, especially on extended work days. There were actually days where I considered getting a professional massage on my arm and wrist because there was so much tension from overuse!

I use these for my air travel. I only get mild nausea, but it's enough to make the flight uncomfortable. They work for me. They are especially great for airline travel because if you chew as you take off and land, your ears will pop right along with you, and you won't have that horrible pressure build up in your ears.

A wonderful grinder that does all the work for you...I definitely suggest this one. Probably the finest grinder i have ever owned, for a couple of reasons.
I like that you can select a coarseness for your grounds, and the grinder will get it perfect every time. Also, the hands free grinding is pretty nice. Push the button once and it will stop when it's perfect.
I REALLY like the removable, deep grounds container. It comes right out which makes pouring the grounds easy, as well as cleanup.
They really thought this one out and it is a good product.

What spy kit is complete without a hidden video camera? My buddy has one of these - just for fun, of course. He likes silly gadgets like this.
I watched one of the things he recorded - just him at a store, buying a T shirt - but it was really funny to watch it all unfold on camera, as he tried to postion the watch to see the teller's face without looking too obvious!
The picture quality is actually pretty good for such a small camera, and he says it's super easy to set up and use.
I would be thrilled to have one of these as a youngster! What a fun toy.

There is nothing bad to say about this cookware set. It is everything I could ever need or want with a cookware set. I'm not a trained chef or anything of the sort, but I certainly enjoy cooking, and cook for myself nearly every night of the week.
Since I got these about a year ago I have had nothing but good luck with them. They distribute heat evenly throughout. My food comes out fast because the whole pan is equally hot.
The handles are comfortable and the right length Solid construction throughout.
They are easy to clean - no little hidden areas that you have to scrub.
The non-stick works like it should, just try not to scratch it!
I highly suggest this set. You will not be disappointed by the price OR the quality.

This is a great little device made by Sony. I use it to record lectures in a lecture hall. I sit right about in the middle of the room and I can clearly hear the lecture when I play it back. Too bad I can also hear all the people sitting around me typing and stuff :(
But it's a good recorder and I only have one bad ting to say about it: the buttons are too small for my fingers! aggg it's annoying sometimes I press the wrong button but other than that it's awesome.

I would say spend some cash and get yourself a North Face or Columbia jacket. Like Cassandra said, make sure it is waterproof and windproof. There's not really any way around it, or any tricks. You just need a really warm jacket with a hood. Get yourself a scarf and a warm hat.
Sometimes the wind is so cold it actually hurts your face to be outside, so some people wear those ski mask things... or anything that will cover your face. A scarf will work, too.

If you haven't played this game, you haven't lived. It's as simple as that.

Kyoceras live up to their expectations! They are great knives! These are incredibly sharp knives. I mean wow they are sharp.
The handle is comfortable and solid, however when it gets wet it is a slippery. All around good knife.

I would certainly recommend switching to a synthetic oil like this one (of course make sure you use the correct grade for your vehicle). These synthetics have a superior lubrication, and also less molecule breakdown at higher temps, ideal for older engines.
Some people say it can shock the engine a little bit switching to synth. but I don't think it is a problem whatsoever as long as you stick with it after, and don't keep switching back and forth.

I use this set up and it's pretty nice although not perfect.
It is cool because it is adjustable for different sized tablets and phones. It can be viewed vertically or horizontally, too.
What I DON'T like is that you have to use the supplied adhesive on your dash, also the stick adhesive on it can leave a little residue on your tablet :(
Also, it is two separate parts, so it rattles a bit on the road and you wil have to jerry rig some sort of cushion to stop it... i just used some felt and it helped.
all in all not the best design ever, but it works for what it's intended for and I like it!

Hey this will give you some nice performance, not a huge sound but plenty for a medium sized room.
Good for public speaking or playing music in a small group setting.
Peavey is a good reliable company, they make good sound equipment.
It all packs up into one unit which is amazing for transporting it.... so easy. Also comes with stands which you don't se very often.

These are decent ear warmers and they are fleece and work pretty well for keeping my ears out of the freezing winds. They are as cheap as they would appear by the price though! They are not going to last forever, nor will they work in subzero temps, but they're okay and I'm not trying to impress anyone so they work well for me.

If you want some serious snow protection you gotta get the overall type pants. The fact that they rise up past your waist makes a huge difference in water proofing and warmth, especially warmth. Having that extra layer rise up on your core is going to seal in a lot of extra warmth, as compared to a normal pant.

This really is the warmest jacket I have ever owned. Amazingly warm...in fact if it's not SUPER cold outside you will be way too hot. This thing is thick and heavy AND water resistant. For me, it's the ultimate cold weather jacket.
Because of it's thick, tough nature, this jacket definitely restricts your movement a bit, but that comes with the territory - usually with warmth comes bulk.

I guess I'll admit this is a little on the cheap side, but it does have a lot of useful stuff in there (all the usual tools you find in a set like this). Everything is definitely made cheaply, including the case. You know...cheap materials go along with cheap prices.
But it has a lot of useful stuff! and it all works, it's not like the screwdrivers break or anything! The drawers are a little tough to open if you don't fasten everything down like it should be, but other than that this tool set has all the things I need for around the house jobs.

I am an owner of an Element and I like the vehicle pretty much all the way around. I like the removable rear seats and how easy they are to remove. I also like the 5 star crash test rating. I opted for the all wheel drive mode which helps a lot in sever weather, but I fear it also made the slow acceleration even worse! The 166hp, 4 cylinder engine makes for pretty slow acceleration for this car, and the boxy shape doesn't help either, however I didn't buy it to drive fast... I bought it for functionality.
i've clocked it at around about 20 mpg in the city, which is okay but not great.
JSYK i think this is their last year of production for the Element... we won't be seeing a 2012 model.
i would give it an A for cargo carrying (including people) and toughness, but only a B- for speed/gas mileage, but overall I am happy with it!

this stuff is fantastic for getting those pre workout nutrients and stuff.... doesn't taste great though. they add a protein isolate (most sports drinks like this don't have it) because it's supposed to help with stamina and hydration. so in that regard it's great and it does feel like it helps me stay charged throughout the workout. it does not taste good though :(
i suffer through it though because i like the results.

this is a great little product i discovered. it has dual use as a floor brace and a sliding door bar. it's adjustable so it should fit just about every door in your house. it's very easy to use, too. just set in place. HOWEVER>> and this is very important>> make sure the brace is as upright as possible when against the door. i tested this product a little against my own strength and the only time I was able to get by it was when it was too horizontal... so keep it upright and it will work!

My favorite fall recipe is hot apple cider with rum. Mmmmmm. Delicious and warm.
Heat up some apple cider on the stove with maybe some apples, cloves, brown sugar, all spice and nutmeg. Sometimes I throw an orange in there with it, too.
Let that concoction all heat up together and cook together for a few minutes, the serve it up with a ladle.
This is a delicious drink all by itself.
Add rum to taste, if desired.

I do quite a bit of weight training and have been through quite a few products like this. Right now, this is my favorite in terms of performance AND flavors. All the flavors I've tries are good, I like vanilla best, though.
It's made of high quality proteins and ingredients, and for that reason it's quite expensive. But worth it.
I get better results for this protein than I've ever seen before. I can tell after a couple of months that I am absolutely adding more muscle mass, and my max's have even gone up slightly for me in the last month or two.

These are great clippers/trimmers and they do exactly what they say, and nothing they don't. They're not for shaving your beard. It won't give you a close shave.... it says that right on the box.
For body hair trimming/beard shaping this is a great product. It safely removes hair from all your hard to reach and not hard to reach places, wet or dry (although it works better dry). great for neck and back trimming, which is mostly what I use it for, although it works just all well the lower you go, if you know what I mean.
has a couple little adapters for different lengths. stays charged well... i've never lost a charge 1/2 way through like i have with other trimmers. that sucks!

Words cannot explain how ridiculously soft these mocs are. I would say Minnetonka is probably the world leader in this type of shoe for comfort and longevity. I've been wearing the same pair for like 5 years now and they're still almost as comfortable as the day I bought them. The inner lining is just heavenly.
I like that it's sort of like a slipper in that it is unparalleled in comfort and can be worn all day in comfort, but it has a meaty sole so I can wear them on errands or to the neighbors house.

This is a great 12V dc winch and I love that it's portable! that way I don't have to leave it on my freakin car all the time. Attaches easily to your ball mount hitch, or flat surface with with plate. It can pull 2000lbs pulling and up to 6000 rolling.
Now, don't think it's one of those super duty mega winches that's gonna haul your cousins truck out of the mud hole. But it's has a decent pull rating and is good for what it's intended for.

I highly recommend this pocket watch for something a little different than the standard gold or silver. It's ideal for travel or anyone who's on the move a lot. Very durable... built to last and to take a beating.
It has an alarm and second hand and time different zone settings.

All in all I am very satisfied with this briefcase. It has lots of room inside - enough to fit my 15" laptop, notebooks, pens, chargers, everything I need for work. It's also great for travel use. Nice adjustable shoulder strap, and I like the pull through top handle.
I really appreciate the double buckle front flap. I've had bags in the past that didn't close sufficiently and it was very frustrating! This would fall out! I don't have that problem with this bag.
The one thing I was disappointed with was the over all leather quality. From these pics, I thought I was getting a thick, durable leather bag that would never have to be replaced.... this is not entirely true though! What I got was a decent looking leather that's kind of thin and too treated for me. I guess I wanted something a little more rugged.
Bu it is functional and I use it all the time with great results. next time, though, I'm doing more research!

While I am sure these new high performance athletic-style golf shoes are comfortable, I'm not planning on running too much while I'm on the links, and I don't need a shoe that's designed for it! These pumas are what I picture when someone says 'golf shoe.' they are pretty much all I have ever used and I am a huge fan of not only their comfort and stability but their style. I think there is something to be said for the sophisticated golf look.

I have this exact jacket for my summertime casual dress up affairs. I like that it's a jacket separate because I think a full seersucker suit can be sort of over the top. This, on the other hand, can be matched with jeans, khakis or gray slacks for a nice lightweight casual look.
If you do need the full suit, I would suggest looking into this company because I think my jacket is great! I'm sure they have nice pants, too.

Yessir as seen on TV alright... although maybe not quite as glorious. It does work well and significantly reduced the bulk of my wallet. It looks nice, a very shiny silver.
I have one complaint, and that is that it kind of contradicts itself in its functionality.
Here's what I mean: i ordered this to carry less and have a smaller wallet, less bulk=less annoying. But, the thing itself is big and awkward and has kind of sharp edges that don't feel good when pressed into your skin. Also, if you only put two cards in it, they might slip out because there's not enough tention. This forces me to take more cards than I want to, again defeating the purpose of down sizing.
But I use it anyways, because it is less bulk than my wallet and that's what I like!

I think they have a really cool thing going on here with this vest, and I appreciate the flexibility it gives me while wearing it. The down padding is only around your core, not your whole upper body. This frees you up a lot upstairs... now if I put on a normal vest it feels like a life jacket. Too much puffiness.
This vest is perfect for work and any situation that requires a little more flexibility.
Did I mention it's warm, too? You will see that the down around your core is all you need to stay warm!

Nike is a great company for golf needs... really any sport actually. You know, they've just been around so long they have their act together.
I own two of these shirts because I like the way they feel and look. Simple, understated. No crazy design.... I'm not walking down a runway, just some golf.
It's polyester, but light and airy enough to keep you cool, and it wicks moisture pretty well, too. Great shirt for the links.

This is a great compression short for light or heavy use. Very tight but comfortable. I like having these in athletic situations for a number of reasons. They hold my muscles tight and it just feels good, they wick moisture away from my skin, and they add a later of protection. It's like having another layer of skin that protects you from the elements.
All this said, there is a flaw in this product... a problem I think a lot of other people have seen as well. The problem is that the shorts and included cup can't be worn together. Individually they both work great, but the cup doesn't fit well in the shorts at all. It sits slightly above your jewels...not a tight fit like I would like. Definitely not an ideal set up, because any impact might cause the cup toshift and pinch you in an unfortunate area.
Use them individually and you'll be good!

I wouldn't suggest those pens - they don't tend to work very well. You will get much much better results with this product. You apply and then buff off.
I should explain right away before you get too excited that this is only designed for taking out minor scratches! It will not get rid of those deep horrible key scratches or anything. But for scratches that aren't as deep, it will make them vanish! Pretty amazing, actually. You rub it to buff and watch as it disappears right before your eyes.
Try it out, and definitely ignore those pen things. They're a waste of time.

Heavy heavy heavy. That's why i like this jacket and why you should buy one! To me, the jacket is for safety first, aesthetics second. So, obviously this jacket looks really cool. The question is, does it perform well?
Well, I haven't yet gone down in it, but I can say without a doubt it would protect me from the road as well as anything I've worn before (maybe not like a $600 jacket will, but for this price range it's great).
Like I said, it's very heavy, and offers me a sense of security in that regard. The inner lining is soft on my skin, and can even zip out.
Has lots of pockets and just looks really sweet. Great jacket, highly recommended.

yeah definitely expect warm sunny weather, but also be ready for big storms.I mean, you're in alaska, you'r gonna get some weather coming down from the north and it's gonna be rough! i would say a north face fleece would do well. maybe something with some waterproof capabilities, too. it sucks to get soaked when you're on vacation.

I love that the word 'executive' is in the title because it is totally the executive of gear shifters.
It's so cool looking and futuristic. Feels good and solid on the installation and is more comfortable in my hand as compared to the picture made it seem.
Solidly built - no wear and tear after about a year.

these are great. blocks the sun, folds up small so you can put it in the trunk. this is a pretty big one...just make sure you get the right size. it will tell you on amazon what size will fit your car. pretty cool

This seat is great!!!! It really works.... I didn't really expect it to at this price, but holy moly it get nice and hot in about 4 or 5 minutes. So hot that I actually usually just keep it on low because it gets uncomfortable. It's great for wintertime... makes getting into your car a little less frigid. Makes my ride to work a little better.

I've had a lot of luck with this detailer. It's awesome. Cleans just about every surface in your car's interior, spray on, wipe off.

i would definitely recommend mother's chrome polish. pretty much everything they make is an amazing product. this will definitely make those hubs sparkle.
to clean them, i would recommend a simple soapy water solution with a sponge or a rag. obviously don't use anything too abrasive. hose a light pressure hose to clear up any spots you can't get to - light duty only, as chrome can be a bit delicate.
soap it up, maybe use a toothbrush or something similarly soft to scrub out the grimy buildups, spray it off, dry it, apply mothers chrome polish as directed and your hubs should be looking good as new.

This is one of the most attractive and comfortable water shoes I've ever owned, but to be honest I can't say much for their longevity.
For my needs, they were perfect. I was in northern Michigan for a few days and spent a lot of time in a lot of lakes and on a lot of beaches. For the few days I used them, they were awesome. Very comfortable, not too ugly like a lot of water shoes are. They stayed on my feet nicely and provided me with some nice grip and the protection I need.
On the down side, they are certainly not made for durability. After the second day the liner became unattached so I had to hold it in place as I put the shoe on.
Started wearing out, only a bit though, after day 5 and luckily at that point I was done.
I only needed them for a few days, so to me it was totally worth the 20 bucks or whatever. If you want something that's going to bring you years of use, look elsewhere! But seriously for $20, how can you go wrong? Just buy another pair later!

What a classic, handsom boot this is. Absolutely unsurpassed in comfort and style...this is the real working man's work boot. Rubber sole, leather upper, super durable.
But the most attractive quality to me is certainly the comfort level. So comfortable! I've never owned such a nice pair as far as comfort goes. Outstanding all the way around.... 10/10 in my book!

Well this is the one I have and I have good and bad things to say about it.
First of all, it does it's job pretty well, and that is hold up to three bikes on the back of a mid size car. The bikes are pretty easy to put on the rack, and once you know how to mount it, it's pretty easy. The first time is difficult - way harder than the video makes it seem, and you'll need another set of hands to do it right. once you figure it out though it's quite easy.
my complaints really come into play with the materials used in construction. It's not the sturdiest rack of all time - kind of cheap materials to go with the cheap price tag.
also, the rubber straps seem to slowly loosen up over time and there is definitely a difference in how well it holds to the trunk.
works pretty well in general, and will get the job done for moderate use.

i think the only way to clean your undercarriage would be to somehow raise it up on a jack or stilts or something, which sounds incredibly risky and not worth the effort.
I would therefor suggest taking it to an automatic wash, they always have an undercarriage wash option. might cost a little more, but i just don't see how it would be worth it to d it yourself

If you think this might be happening you should definitely take the face off when you're not in the car, as a control. See if your battery still drains. There are a thousand things that could be draining your battery besides the CD faceplate...actually I would say that's one of the least likely things it could be.
I'm sure your mechanic could help you out with this....they have ways of figuring things out like this.

Buy some of this and follow the directions. I find it works well on a cool engine on a hot day, too. As long as there is some sot of heat the grime becomes a little more pliable and workable.
Spray on and let it sit there for a few minutes, be generous with it. Don't be shy! Let it fly. Then spray it off with a hose. Repeat if necessary.
It wont get all the small, hard to reach areas, and might leave some of the really tough stuff behind, but it will take a nasty engine and shine up pretty nice.
This stuff is good because it's non-caustic and won't do any harm to your engine parts. It will just clean it up.

Admittedly, this is a very ugly shoe. But I'm at the point where when I'm standing ALL DAY LONG my feet get real tired. I don't much care anymore how I look at work, I just don't want my feet to hurt when I get home.
These are great. nice support, cushioned sole, non-slip, very comfortable. Actually one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever worn.
They're designed for people like me and you who are sick of uncomfortable work shoes! It's not fair! Every person in the restaurant industry or similar deserves a shoe like this.
