You should think about getting this one. It has a that ergonomic shape, that mimics the natural angle of your wrist. Definitely will reduce wrist pain, as compared to your average mouse.
It is priced pretty low, and as a result you may find that it feels a little less solid than you might want, but such is to be expected at lower prices like this. Definitely a capable mouse though.

This one has my vote! It's incredibly small and actually is somewhat comfortable to use, as opposed to some other mini-mice I've used. It's got a slightly different design that I think makes it superior to other similar mice: you hold it almost like a pen (look at the pictures) which makes it more comfortable and better foro you, ergonomically speaking. Lots of great reviews (read those too!) and it's wireless.... this is a great choice. For sure.

I think these are great. Simple, solid, well built. No crazy extras, just a solid keyboard. Mechanical keyboards are awesome and certainly offer superior tactility and faster response than your standard keyboard. You get fully programmable keys and five additional gaming specific keys. Also offers ten customizable software profiles and "on the fly"switching.
Mostly I just like how simple and solid it is.

To save a little dough I would go with a generic brand such as this. 60GB, barely over $50, new. Seems decent to me.

|
|
|
|
I suggested this laptop for someone else's question as well. I think it would be more worth your money to buy a new laptop, because I think this will significantly improve your gaming experience, as compared to your set up now. For $899 you can get a brand new Asus with the following specs:
Intel Core i7-2670QM Processor
6 GB DIMM
750 GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive
Nvidia GT 630M
I think since you are willing to spend $600 for an SSD you might as well go the extra mile and get a whole new badass rig!

I think there are a few tablets that are equally competitive and great.
Acer's Iconia is one... check it out on the link. Powerful, fast, fun to use.
I would also suggest, on the same level as Iconia:
-iPad 3 (which you can easily pick up under $1000 and it's amazing)
-Asus Transformer Prime (probably iPad's biggest competitor)
-Sony's SGPT111US/S Tablet (with access to some old Playstation titles, if you're into that)
|
|
|
|
|
This looks like the best deal around, to me at least... check out the specs (and it's only $899):
Intel Core i7-2670QM Processor
6 GB DIMM
750 GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive
15.6-Inch Screen
Nvidia GT 630M
I love this. I want one.

I think most people will tell you not to use a laser printer for photos at all... but this one will be decent. Laser printers are really designed for printing text and graphics, and don't really contain the technology needed for tight, clear printing. But it will get the job done.
|
|
|
|
|
This is the most simple, no frills printer I could find. Looks like it fits the bill quite well, actually. It's very inexpensive (although I have to say that Canon ink is not cheap) and has no bells and whistles. Even just looking at the picture tells you that this is pretty much a straight shooter - it prints when you tell it to, and that's about it. That's all you need, right? Right.
It will be great because it is advertised as a photo printer, and basically that means that if you want to print photos they will be fairly high quality (4800 x 1200 dots per square inch, which is pretty good), and text will certainly look good.
It's your very basic printer, but very high quality.

Hey Meredith,
I'm pretty interested in HP's Spectre Ultrabook. This thing is pretty cool....and yes, it has a backlit keyboard. Also has the following specs, as listed on the Amazon site:
2.30 GHz Intel Core i5-2467M processor, 4 GB SDRAM, 128GB mSATA solid-state drive, Intel HD Graphics 3000, 9.5 hours battery life. All good stuff.
Also has Beats audio and is designed to be quite attractive.
Cool stuff from HP!

Here's a good deal for you... under $400 for a great camera, all you have to do is find a lens you want. Lenses vary a great deal in price, but you can find one one for under $150 online. I don't think you will find anything too much cheaper than this, these dslrs are high quality in their nature and there aren't really budget models too much. This will enable you to get some incredible shots, provided you know what you are doing!
|
|
|
|
|
My vote would be their a55. I am not really sure how much you intend on spending here, (and these are a little expensive) but they are fantastic cameras. It is a dSLR so it has some really cool advanced features, and actually some somewhat revolutionary features: Worlds1st consumer HD video camera w/ continuous Phase Detect auto focus (for video). Also can shoot continuous 10 fps shooting with continuous Phase Detect AF. So it's incredibly fast and captures very high quality images. Also has a very useful swivel LCD screen that can adjust to like any angle you could ever need. Great camera... glad to see some interest in Sony cameras because they are often overshadowed by the super popular Nikon and Canon brands, but Sony makes a worthy contender!

Here's another good one for you to consider from Acer.
1366 x 768 resolution will look pretty nice for your movies. It is 18.5 inches, I hope that's not a problem. Nice looking unit, I think you will like it.
|
|
|
|
|
This Acer monitor is designed for pretty hardcore gaming, if thats what you're looking for. It has a nice high refresh rate (120 Hz) to keep away that motion blur. It is an LCD screen and is 3D capable. It has a full HD display and should dazzle you with its clear image!

I would have to go with the Emerald weapon from FF7
Ridiculous

Sure there is! I would have to suggest these. Good company for this type thing, and these seem like a decent pair of headphones. They won't offer top notch sound, but for what you're paying they will be pretty nice... and comfortable, too!
I think these will be some of the most accurate, warm sounding cans you will find at this price point.

For picture quality Samsung is usually a good choice, as is Sharp. I think this is a good option for you. 1080p is gonna be good for picture sharpness.
Besides having a nice picture it also loks nice!

|
Not quite as cheap as Zake's suggestion, but this would run LoL and other games pretty well.
Smallish screen, but great performance specs. For around $700 you get
Intel Core i5 2430M
4 GB DDR3 memory
640 GB 5400 rpm hard drive
Nvidia GT 520 Graphics
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
This laptop will be sweet... I really like Asus and would expect nothing but the best from them.
|
|
|
|
|
I know a lot of people aren't really into Alienware (because your paying for the brand more than the actual product or whatever), but this is the best option I could find with those specs you want.
This will be a hell of a machine! And it is exactly what you asked for!

I'm excited about this thing from Asus... only $250. Not 3g though, only wifi.

I like this option... thinking about getting one for myself actually.
It has a 2ms response time (so great for gaming), and has 1920 x 1080 resolution.
I love the sleek, thin look and the widescreen.
Great specs for the price.

This one is a little cheaper than a Macbook, and is quite a solid machine. I saw it posted on another question on this site actually, and it sort of caught y eye. Seems like a nice laptop, and from a good company. here are the "technical details" they list:
2.30 GHz Intel Core i5-2410m "Sandy Bridge" dual-core processor
4 GB of installed DDR3 RAM
500 GB SATA hard drive
12.5-inch LED-backlit widescreen display, Intel GMA HD graphics
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
Quite similar to a 13" Macbook except this one is definitely more powerful. Good option for you.

Pretty sure this will work for you. Dlink is a well respected name, and I know for a fact that it will work with your apple products (lists Mac OS X v10.4 under its Minimum System Requirements). I know you said you've tried Dlink before, but have you tried this one? Because other people seem to have used it successfully with their macs.

My friend uses Alpine in his car, and I know it's a popular brand. High quality stuff. It will produce a big clear sound.

could you please clarify? I don't quite understand. are you looking for a 3D tv?

I would consider this a budget dslr at under $500 with a nice lens included. Canon's DIGIC 4 processer is excellent and will allow for some low light shooting, even in video mode (ISO 100 – 6400). It shoots HD at 1280 x 720, which I know isn't "full" but it is very good nonetheless. It has some nice in camera editing options like deleting scenes and stuff. A lot of camera for the price!
|
|
|
|
|
This would be another great option. Panasonic makes a great camera, and especially in terms of video quality/features they are among the top in their class. They claim not only to have the best in class image quality but also the autofocus. The focus is a cool feature because it allows you to focus on various parts of the image by touching them on the LCD screen, and while your filming. You'll be filming in full HD, by the way.
I think for the price this is a very cool camera, and even a contender with Nikon and Canon.

Western D is always good for this sort of thing. I think 1TB should be plenty... that's a lot of photos!! It's only $150. That's a lot of space for a reasonable price, although I think Todd's idea of checking out Costco is also a good idea.
It's small, sleek, and pretty cool looking. Also can use USB 2 or 3 for fast transfers.

Don't know of an easy way under $10, but if you're willing to spend a little extra dough this should do the trick for you.

This would be a nice bundle for you to consider, it comes with a standard zoom lens. These are fantastic cameras, whether you're shooting sports, landscapes or cats. You will get some amazing shots with it.
For your video needs it shoots full HD movies at 1920 x 1080 resolution with manual exposure control and digital zoom.
For low light, it has an ISO rating of up to 6400 (expandable to ISO 12800), along with the DIGIC 4 Image Processor (with improved noise-reduction technology). You will be in good hands with Canon.
|
|
|
|
|
This is an excellent camera for your needs. In fact, I think anyone who needs a camera in this price range will appreciate this Canon.
To start, Canon is a very well respected camera company. Their lenses are awesome.
Seeing as you're out in the early morning hours, you will probably want something that can take some decent low light shots.... this can be tough with point and shoots, but this Canon will do alright with it, with its f/2.0 lens which is ideal for low light conditions. It also has 3.8x optical zoom, a 28mm wide-angle lens, and I am sure you will appreciate Canon's Hybrid IS (image stabilization) to compensate for angular and shift camera shake.
I think this will be perfect for you, and it comes in at $347, just under budget!

Hi Alyssa, I would recommend this Panasonic to ya. This thing is super tough AND waterproof. You can drop it and it should be fine. Definitely a rugged build that will be able to sustain some serious abuse. And the waterproof part is pretty cool, too.
It's going to be really easy to use (for you and the kids) as it has a bunch of "scene modes" for all sorts of different shooting conditions... just select the correct mode and it will automatically set the right settings for optimal shooting. It also has a 28mm wide-angle lens that will let you easily capture large groups of people, perfect for class pics and stuff.
The only drawback with this camera is picture quality is only good... not great. Like it won't be as sharp as, say, a nice Canon, but for a point and shoot it will be very good. It's only $250, so that's what you should expect!
|

Don't know, but this is what it says on their website:
"Note: Some people have complained that this site has been sending them texts. If you're one of them, then someone else might be playing a prank on you. This Cat Facts page does not gather people's emails or phone numbers. Sorry, there is nothing we can do to help since we aren't the ones sending the messages."
Crappy.

Well, with no budget in your question I would recommend the Clevo X7200. I think this is like the fastest laptop ever....it's a real beast. Some highlights:
17.3-inch 1080p (1920x1080) glossy panel with LED backlighting
Intel Core i7-980X six-core desktop processor (3.33GHz)
DUAL Nvidia GeForce GTX 480M graphics cards w/ 2GB GDDR5 memory each
12GB DDR3-1333 triple-channel RAM (3x 4GB)
500GB 7200RPM Seagate Momentus XT secondary storage drive
But here's the real kicker: MSRP: $4,700 YIKES!
I don't know, seems a little outrageous to me, but damn it's a serious laptop... you will be able to play the HELL out of any game in the world.

I recommend staying with a brand you know and trust. Vizio makes a great set... I have owned one in the past and was very happy with it. I think this is a great deal for such a nice sized set with good features. I mean first of all, it has full HD 1080p resolution. That's huge right there. It has a fairly impressive 100,000 to 1 dynamic contrast ratio, which should yield some vibrant colors. It is energy star certified, which always feels good. It has ambient light sensing technology which automatically adjusts backlight levels to optimize viewing in any light.
It has a pretty generous viewing angle of 178 degrees, which your guests will appreciate as you all gather around the TV!
Vizio makes a good product.... I can almost guarantee you will be happy with this set.
|
|
|
|
|
I like everything they got going on here, except the 60Hz..... but we can work with that and should expect that at this price point. All it means is sometimes fast moving action will look slightly blurry. Other than that, we're looking at some really solid specs. I like that you're getting a full HD 1080p, LCD display. That's solid. The 100,000:1 contrast will give you some vibrant colors and dark blacks.
It will also sense how much light is in the room and adjust its setting to give you the best possible display, automatically. I think you can expect a great display here, really.
Add to all of this the fact that the TV looks fantastic all by itself and that it has some great reviews (you should check out the reviews.... almost all good things) and I think you have a real winner.
|
|
|
|
|
I think this is the best TV at this price point. The only real negative thing I have read about it is the speakers are mounted on the back, so the sound is a bit echo-y. However, it is SRS TruSurround HD, so at least it is high quality sound!
Beyond that, i think it's a solid set. Philips makes some nice TVs. It's the right size and price. The display is 720p, LCD with LED backlighting. I have a 720p Vizio and I think the picture is fantastic, so don't let the 720 part discourage you.
It has some nice features like being Energy Star certified, lots of connection options, and also it's nice and hin and looks pretty cool. This should be a real nice set for you, Emily.

Here you go, here is a good little TV that should work for you. Even has a built-in DVD player.
The one thing people have complained about is the volume doesn't get very loud. Well, luckily it also has an audio out, so just hook up some external speakers if need be.... you really ought to do that anyways.
This TV has some good stuff going on that I think you will appreciate. With a screen this small 720p will be plenty... it will look very sharp and pretty. It's the right size and price, and it's also from a reputable company for TVs. It features an LCD screen and is LED backlit. It has HDMI connectivity and can also be used as a monitor for your PC. I also want to say that it looks really nice!
To me, this TV is great because it's like they took a big fancy flatscreen and just shrunk it down! You know, it looks like a nice big TV and has a lot of the same features, just scaled down.
|
|

So obviously at this price point we're looking at an entry level HDTV. You're probably going to have to expect 720p, as opposed to 1080p, at least if you want a 120Hz refresh rate (which I think you do). Honestly, it's tough to tell the difference between 1080 and 720, especially on a smaller screen such as this. I don't think that will be an issue at all. You should be more concerned with the refresh rate, which is how many times the picture is redrawn every second. For sports, video games, and anything that has quick motion on screen, you need a high refresh rate otherwise the picture may get blurry. At this price point it's sort of tough, bu this Haier has a refresh rate of 120Hz, which is pretty solid. Sports should look pretty awesome on this unit.
Also worth mentioning (just for credibility, in case you aren't familiar with Haier), is that this is the official HDTV of the NBA! I mean talk about a good endorsement for fast moving picture.
This will be a wonderful set for sports and all your viewing needs.

Wow there are just so many impressive features on this TV... I wish I could buy one for myself instead of recommending one for someone else to buy!
This is a plasma TV. I don't know how you feel about plasma, but for gaming and watching sports they are usually a good way to go. It has an incredibly high refresh rate (plasma TV's work in such a way that they can obtain these super high refresh rates) so there won't be any "motion blur" at all. Motion blur happens when the action on the screen is happening faster than the TV can redraw the image, and so it becomes blurry. You certainly won't have to worry about that with a 600Hz refresh rate! (It has a .001ms response time! Ridiculous.)
You will also be getting some other awesome features with this unit. I mean first of all it's got a massive 64' screen, and add to that the fact that it's 1080p ful HD and you've got yourself a simply stunning display... or shall we say a rockstar, kick-butt display. (All your friends will be jealous for sure.) It has 4 HDMI ports and tons of other inputs like component video, PC, USB, etc.
It also is 3D capable and is a "Smart TV" meaning it will connect to the internet so you can download stuff and share with our friends.
I think this is an absolute BEAST of a television that is definitely worth considering!

Careful out there! I don't know what you're shooting, but wildlife can be so....well....wild! You're probably going to want to keep your distance. Thus, I suggest some thing with fantastic zooming abilities. 35X zoom (and wide angle) should be a good bet for wildlife, and the landscapes in which they reside.
At this price point we won't be able to get into DSLRs, but that can be good and bad for wildlife photography. The good is that it will probably be lighter and quicker to use that a DSLR, and certainly requires less accessories. Not having to switch lenses means a) you don't have to carry them around with you, and b) no dust will get into your camera while switching lenses in the field. The bad is of course that your pictures won't be quite as spectacular or sharp, but they will certainly still look good, especially to the non-professional.
Like I said, in general you're going to want to keep your distance from wild animals. The zooming capabilities on this camera will absolutely allow you to do so. Also, generally speaking, the best wildlife shots are taken in early morning or dusk, because this is when many animals tend to be the most active, plus it creates more dramatic lighting. Wild animals are often going to be in motion, so you will probably be looking at shutter speeds of 1/250th or faster. The reason I bring this up is there is something important to remember here regarding zoom and shutter speed: you want to keep your shutter speed at 'one over focal length'. So, a 300mm lens needs a minimum shutter speed of 1/300th and a 500mm lens requires 1/500th and etc. This should ensure you get some quality shots. Keep in mind, low light shooting is significantly more difficult without a DSLR, as point and shoots have significantly smaller sensors, making high ISO shots very grainy. If you practice a little bit and play around with the settings (maybe even use the pre-programmed modes) you will certainly find the optimal settings for this type of shooting, and I am confidant you will be able to take some fantastic shots with this thing!!

Well this is certainly a subjective question, because what's good for the money for me might be different than for you.... but I'll give you my take on it!
I would checkout this Acer. They make a great machine at a great price. I would assume you need the large screen for gaming? Or editing of some sort? So you're gonna need something with some decent specs at least.
This one has a 2.66 GHz Intel Core i5-480M dual-core processor, 4 GB of installed DDR3 RAM
640 GB SATA hard drive, and also comes with Windows 7, so it's definitely a good place to start. Not a powerhouse, but not bad. I would say it's perfect for entry level gaming.
You should be able to get a lot of good use out of it though! Good luck in your search.

Gotta get a case of some sort. I would highly recommend this one, by far the best one I have used.
It's a very solid case that also looks fantastic...genuine leather. Magnetic closure wraps it up tight to keep it safe.
It also acts as a stand that will prop it up horizontally or vertically.
Not only does this case look classy, it also works perfectly. Definitely a good purchase.

This thing is so freaking cool. It raises your iPhone volume by 10 dB without any electronics and without using any power! What?! Yeah...it uses a collection of coiled tubes to collect and amplify sound. Pretty awesome toy for $20. Stocking stuffer?

This is probably out of all of our price range, but the best home theater system for 2012 has got to be this European KEF system. I have have not had the pleasure of listening to this system yet, but I have heard other KEF systems and they are phenomenal. This one actually one an award for best home theater system of 2012, but I forget who was presenting the awards, so I can't show you the website. (a google search should find it)
You just have never heard a system like this. Amazingly rich, big sound. It has a huge, full bass register and a crystal clear high range that just soars. Definitely a real showoff-type home theater system to make your neighbors jealous!

I vote iPad. It's got a nice large screen for viewing. It's also got tons of apps for comic book viewing like Marvel, DC, and Comixology. I know Marvel is also available for android, but I don't know about DC. I think screen size is very important here though. 7" would be too small for me.... 10" is good. Maybe also consider Kindle Fire if you don't want to drop all the dough on an iPad.

Well I keep seeing great reviews for this thing so I have to recommend it as well. It seems like a fantastic printer all the way around, sort of almost too good to be true. It just has so many attractive qualities.
First and foremost, price. Very affordable, at just ander $60. Next in line, print quality...4800 x 12000 DPI. gives you very sharp images. Pick up some photo paper and you can even take it to the next level.
Its versatility is also right up your alley, as it will scan, copy and print just as well as any other all-in- one out there.
One last selling point would be wireless connectivity..... you can print wirelessly from anywhere in your house which is a nice commodity if you ask me.
I think this is the best over all deal right here.
|
|
|
|
|
This is the one I have, and I like it pretty well. I wouldn't say it's really designed for gaming, more like media navigation/manipulation.
It's completely wireless using bluetooth. It has a little trackpad on it too, which really helps with navigation.
The keys and action feel very good, and the keyboard looks nice, too.
It is interesting that Logitech didn't include any 'L' and 'R' keys on the keyboard which help facilitate zooming in and out when you're browsing the net.... oh well that's my only gripe. other than that it's a great keyboard. Highly suggested1

You could try the Cat Clamp. It actually doesn't completely prevent theft, but it does make for a nice deterrent.
A good thief can cut of your cat. converter in like 20 seconds, so this should help deter them. However, a determined thief will still be able to cut the whole thing off...it just might take a bit longer.

This might be a good one to consider. It's well within your price range and is a very reputable brand. It's got a shock sensor that lets you know when someone is messin with your vehicle. Of course it has an alarm, too, and even a starter kill.
If you feel like a challenge you might be able to install it yourself, otherwise have someone do it professionally.
This is a good deal though, an excellent opportunity to save some cash!

I honestly think this is a better choice than the Apple keyboard, for a couple reasons.
First and foremost..... PRICE. It's cheaper! Yay! It easily performs as well as the apple version and is a lot cheaper.... another example of apple charging too much for their name (I love apple products, but they aren't afraid to charge an arm and a leg).
ALSO, this keyboard has iPad specific buttons. Nice.
The feel of the keys and everything is very similar to the apple keyboard. The only difference (and downfall) is that the keyboard tends to flex a little bit in the middle. This isn't horrible, just something to consider.

I've been using this Targus for, oh, about 6 months now and I don't really have any complaints with it. Maybe it's not the most stylish case but it certainly does what it's supposed to. The netbook sits right in there and you don't have to take it out to use it. It's got a little extra compartment for cords and stuff, and has a carry strap.
It's simple, cheap, and effective. Right up my alley.
|
|
|
|
|
For slightly over 150 you could get this guy. I think it looks like the real deal! It has an automatic sensor, so when you slide the bag in the slot it grabs hold, sucks the air out and seals it. Looks great, check it out.

I definitely recommend this club man! It is an incredible deal. Awesome for a beginner because the price, and good for the seasoned golf lover because the club is pretty darn nice.
It not the best driver I've ever used, but it is pretty nice. It's balanced well and the head is huge...bigger than it looks in the picture.
Perfect for the driving range...that's what I bought it for.
I will say it took a minute to get used to it... it feels a little different than a lot of clubs I've used for some reason...maybe how it's weighted. But I can definitely hit a nice straight ball with this thing!

You should look into Toro brand. They make fantastic machines. I have been using mine for a few seasons now, with no problems.
I have the single stage and it's plenty powerful for my driveway. My driveway is maybe 40, 50 feet long and flat. It makes clearing my driveway absolutely no problem, whatsoever.
It's a great reliable machine.

This is a very cool looking case for a 15" but I think your 13" will sit in there rather nicely. I like how it looks... clean and modern. Available in different colors, too. It loks well padded, and the wide shoulder strap is particularly intriguing as it will make your carrying experience much more enjoyable.

This is the one I would get if I were you! I have this thing and wow it's great...especially for that price! The picture quality really is stunning.

Well I would say get any Android tablet that you like and then just download Adobe for free. Adobe reads pdf files just fine! Find a tablet that has a good sized screen for you, because I think if you are using it mostly for pdf's (reading? editing?) you will want something at least decently sized, just to make your life as easy as possible.
Maybe look into a Xoom or a Thrive.

If you had in mind what exactly your primary uses would be on the computer I'm sure we could give you a more precise, customized answer as to what would be the best laptop for you, personally.

This is the one I use and it's sweet. Definitely worth a hundred bucks if you ask me. Really easy to get going. Powered by USB. Easy easy easy, and reliable.

When I saw this mouse I was like "now there's a good idea!' because when you think about it, when you bring your hand up naturally from your side it will be in the angled position that the mouse is in. I'm thinking about getting one for myself!

I recently had this one installed, Cassandra, and after 5 months I am still very much satisfied with it. I don't know much about water heaters, but this one was suggested to me by a contractor friend I have. It was a great suggestion!
It's electric, which means it's expensive up front and will save you a bunch of money in the long run, with lower gas bills. All I know is it was a great buy for a large capacity water heater, and my family always has ample hot water.

Here's a possibility for you. Buy some folders - maybe all different colors to help organize - and keep your papers in there. It's pretty small, and holds stuff vertically.

This would definitely be a good choice for video editing. This thing is a powerhouse, man! It's got a 1.5TB hard drive, a Radeon graphics card, and the works. You could also get yourself a touchscreen monito to make extra cool.

I've got this one and for the most part I am happy with it. As far as feel it's a little bit cheap... a lot of it is plastic.... so I would say it's a little bit on the delicate side, but that doesn't stop it from performing like it should.
It's really convenient to have the keyboard as part of the case, especially for travel. The keyboard is a little small, and not ideal for large typing tasks, but for general use it is incredibly useful.

If you don't need a whole lot of power this would be perfect for you. Not to say this sander isn't powerful, but if you're planning on sanding down a deck or something large like that I would consider something else. However, for light household use and small - medium sized products this is a great tool. It's cordless but with 18v it still packs a little punch.
It's a really good deal from Black and Decker..... although TAKE NOTE it doesn't come with a battery OR charger, so those must be purchased separately and considered in your pricing.

Well I have this device, and over all I like it, but I do have some things to point out.
First of all, it's not entirely smokeless. It's not like there's clouds of smoke bellowing off it, but a little bit will burn off, and you may need to crack a window. Secondly, it takes a solid 10 minutes to heat up, and the exact temp is somewhat of a mystery, as the temperature knob isn't very exact. But it does get hot and it will cook your food.
I think for this super low price you should definitely pick one up. I have my little gripes about it, but over all it's pretty awesome and I use it all the time!

Ok it's not the most sensational monitor ever, but for the price it's pretty much unbeatable. It's a hell of a deal for a full hd, 1080 picture. Yes, the picture is clear and vibrant. No, it's not for graphic design or anything like that...... but for general, day to day use (including movie watching) it's fantastic.

I've been using this for business trips, and I think it would be perfect for you. Here's why:
The laptop compartment is removable, making it super easy to go through security AND you can use it as a laptop case. ( I don't think it will fit a 17" though)
It has a pen organizer
The main compartment is big enough to pack for one or two nights, so I find it perfect for short trips.
The handle is pretty long and the wheels roll smoothly.
Things you may not like is: I don't think it will hold a 17", like I mentioned earlier, and also the telescoping handle isn't particularly sturdy...I mean it gets the job done okay but it wobbles a little.
All in all I am very happy with it and think you will be too.

My buddy just showed me this little gadget that he got for presentations. It's really cool but the projection is small and it only really works in dark rooms.
There is a ipod/ipad kit for purchase to make it compatible for you. The one thing I know he doesn't like about this thing is that it has terrible battery life, about an hour of use :(
But other than that it's a sweet little projector. Pretty damn clear image, especially for the size!

You gotta check out the Contour mouse. These things are amazing - -the best if you ask me! It's slightly larger than your average mouse, which is great for guys like me with larger hands....you can even order an extra large one if you need.
What makes them ideal for photoshop (or any labor intensive computer work) is the near perfect ergo design. Your hand just rests on top - effortlessly- and clicking hardly requires any movement at all... and more importantly you don't ever have to bend any part of your hand or fingers in an unnatural way, so it helps to ward off carpal tunnel symptoms.
It's designed for CAD/video editing/photoshop...that sort of thing. You will love how this thing feels in your hand! Why aren't more mice made like this?
Expensive, but awesome!

At only $15 over budget, you have to consider these headphones. They are DA BOMBEST.
First of all, they look so nice. Totally understated, no obnoxious logos or anything.
Secondly, they feel very comfortable on my head. No uncomfortable jabbing or anything of the sort. Third, you can pug another set of headphones into them.... awesome for travelling with somebody. AND fourth, they sound great. Nice and even from the lows to the highs.
They are my headphones to date. I suggest them highly.

Hi there Lori I don't own this vacuum but was snoopin around online and it appears to be exactly what you are looking for. It's called an all-terrain carpet cleaner because it's designed for carpet, wood and tile, etc. Some of the hard floor features included are a squeegee, spinscrub brushes, and soft wheels.... all of which promise to make cleaning your hard surfaces as easy as your carpet!
I suggest you check out this vacuum and see if it is something you would be interested in.

These are very similar cameras, both from great companies. Either one will be a wonderful purchase for you.
A couple small differences to consider, that might help you decide.
The Nikon has 10x zoom, the Canon 5X.
The Canon is slimmer than the Nikon, heralded as the slimmest in its class.
The Canon will shoot 1080p video, the Nikon 720p.
Canon is 12.1mp, Nikon 16mp.
Both are true point and click cameras, with a bunch of modes to chose from, depending on your shooting environment.
Looks like it's 6 of one half dozen of another!
Both are awesome.... I would recommend the Canon because I use Canons and like them, but I think you will fall in love with either one, because both companies one hell of a camera.

I'm pretty sure that regardless of what oil you use, regular oil changes are very important. You need clean oil in there for your engine to run properly, so do yourself a favor and change it regularly. The performance you get out of your car depends largely on what you put into it, so take the necessary small steps like changing the oil regularly to keep it running as efficiently as possible.

You should try something like this power scrubber. All of those cleaning sprays do about the same thing, and they all require some serious scrubbing for best results. Why not leave the scrubbing to a machine?!
This will power through those water spots, and hopefully keep 'em away for awhile. Even if they come back, at least cleaning them will always be easy with this thing!

The answer is there is no next best thing! The only good way to make a burger is on an open flame! If you ask me, that is.
I have this mini grill and I think it would be a great option for you, Sean. It's small and portable, so you could take it into a common area (every apartment complex has something like this) and start grilling. There's no substitue for an open flame!
The little legs underneath fold up over the top and lock the lid in place, so the whole thing becomes an incredibly convenient portable grill - we use it for camping and bbq's and stuff. The propane makes for a really hot flame, and I think you will see similar results as if you were using a full size grill.

I wish there was a new Wii with better graphics. I love the games and the ease of use, and I LOVE the interactive aspect. I'm definitely not a 'gamer' in the sense that I don't spend much time or money on my video game systems, but I would certainly invest in a newer, HDMI capable Wii.

I have a shirt from Express that is cut in a cowboy type way. With the pointy pockets and sharp shoulder line. It's fitted though, and solid grey. Beautiful shirt. Cowboy-ish but still nice enough for a night out on the town.

You can get ones with WAY bigger shades at IKEA... they look awesome, but like I said you need some room to make it work, otherwise it will crowd you out.

This one gets my vote. While all the TV's here are really nice, this one seems like it's the most cost effective. It's a very reasonable price, and Vizios in general seem to always have excellent picture quality, and all around are great televisions. Can't really go wrong with one of these.

My neighbors have this set. I use it all the time because I'm always over there hanging out!
It's very nice looking, and fairly comfortable, but two concerns come to mind immediately as I suggest them. 1) The chairs are not super durable in terms of taking weight or abuse. They are not for heavier people, nor are they for rowdy kids. 2) They are definitely designed to come inside in the wintertime. Not a four season type of set.
A little delicate, but nicely priced and very attractive.

family night in our house usually consists of one of these activities: going to a fun diner, burger or pizza joint, an arcade, ice skating, indoor rock climbing, mini golf, bowling, hike around the lake, snowball fight (with forts), movie night, game night, and occasionally, on nice nights, picnics.
All of these are fun things to do with the fam!

This was my new purchase this past summer and it rocks and I used it like a thousand times! Mostly just cooking for me and wifey. Its portability is awesome. Throw it in the back of my 4runner along with a propane tank and I am ready for anything from picnics to a fourth of July party (during which I cooked successfully for 6 or 7 people on this grill).
It gets surprisingly hot - I never feel like it's under temperature or like I'm missing anything.

I think I would have absolutely loved a big huge flying model rocket at his age. I had a few of these growing up, and it was always fun and exciting to go down to the field and launch them. It's like pretty exciting because there a little explosion at the bottom that launches the rocket WAY up high - out of sight high - and there's all this smoke and stuff everywhere....very dramatic. very fun.

This is a wonderful pan, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about it.
Nonstick is exactly what it should be.
The handle is padded and comfortable.
It's made of anodized aluminum, which is better for even cooking and is extremely durable.
It's also easy to clean.
Best pan I've ever owned, that's for sure.

This is a fantastic set of non-stick cookware that my wife and I use almost every day to cook some sort of meal, always with great results. I can't say much for the handles, though. They are a weird shape and sometimes difficult to deal with. Too thin, odd shape.
But I suggest them to you because they are made very well, and we enjoy the non-stick aspect!

Can I just say that everything from Costco brand Kirkland is good!! From their mayonaise to their coffee and everything in between. (these chewables count as the 'in between'!)
But seriously my kids love these and don't ever complain about taking them. I've tasted them and they are quite tasty indeed. No complaints here!

Also, what would be your price range? That would help. Thanks!

The Fuji is a good camera, yes. However, I think this canon is superior, both in picture and usability. The Fuji is a camera for a more advanced photographer. Some of the menus are difficult to navigate and the autofocus sometimes needs a little manual assistance. Canon will be easier to use yet yield the same high quality pictures and vivid colors, as glass lenses tend to do.
Also, I think you will happier with the video quality on the canon. Fuji's tend to have loud motors, and you can sometimes even hear it in the playback if you are zooming during recording.
I just think the Canon is a more versatile camera and is certainly easier to use.
A used one would be in the same price range as this Fuji.

A big clean sound. That's what you get with this amplifier. Need I say more?
I am so pleased with mine. It's certainly not a gigging guitar, as it just doesn't have the power I would need. But pure sound? Yes.

I would consider this a great mid level, medium intensity cordless drill. It gets the job done around the house. Drywall, cabinets, any soft wood, and little repairs, this thing does fine.
I wouldn't take it with me out on a construction site because I don't think it's nearly tough enough for that sort of thing (Unless you're doing drywall!) But like I said around the house it's perfect and super convenient.

Soft, oversized, 100% cotton....what's not to love? I almost look forward to the towel dry more than the shower these days thanks to these guys :)
Big thanks to my loving wife for buying these for us!

if you want something decent under 10 dollars, you need to look into something like this. these are designed really well to deliver the very best sound in the most comfortable way, while also eliminating some outside noise.
They go deeper in your ear than your average headphone, which helps deliver the sound better. They also have a wicked bass boost that sound good for such a small unit.
I would say these are the most comfortable, best sounding in ear headphones I've ever had.

This sled is NICE. It looks gorgeous right out of the box. Beautiful stained wood. One of the prettier sleds I've ever seen, I have to say.
It's designed like a runner sled, with the front turning apparatus, only instead of runners there are panels.
It rips down the mountain, especially if the snow is pretty well packed already. It's really fun being able to steer your sled so well.... gives the whole sledding thing a whole different spin!

I would have to recommend the Seagull S6. Seagulls are great guitar, no matter what model you buy. They don't make crappy guitars, ever. An S6 is what I learned on. It's affordable, beautiful sounding, and definitely offers room to grow. You could play gigs on this thing and sound great.

Making espresso is most certainly a delicate process.... one could almost call it an art form. While there are many many steps in the process that determine the quality of the end product, there are a couple of things I can point out to you right now that may help a bit.
Obviously, a nice roast is very important. A good french roast is my preference.
Make sure to heat up the machine properly first, otherwise it may not reach the temperatures needed for a proper brew.
It's also a good idea to heat up your cup first, so that you're not pouring your hot coffee into a cold cup. A lot of heat will be lost, and that a big part of the flavor. Luke warm coffee is sort of gross if you ask me.
The most important step of the process, though, is the tamping. If you own an espresso machine you probably own a tamper. It's very important to put the right amount of pressure on the grounds to ensure the perfect brew. You want to press firmly with the tamper... not so hard you hurt yourself, but enough to show the grounds who's boss. Also, I find it helps to do a little twist with the tamper at the end. This way, none of the grounds stick to it. If the grounds stick to it your nice, flat, freshly tampered grounds will have a little 'pot hole' in them here water can collect, which will cause imperfections in the brew.
Hope this helps a little bit. Every machine is different, so my best advice would be to practice a lot until you find the perfect method for you!

If you don't mind dropping some bills, may I suggest this cardigan hoodie from AG?
It was given to me as a gift last christmas because Santa knew I needed something with a hood to keep my ears from freezing off.
It is not only warm and soft but very fashionable - one of my favorite articles of clothing I have ever owned, to be honest.

this beast should do the trick for you. the 4320 joule rating will protect your equipment basically guaranteed no matter what.
however, what sold me on this product is the pivoting outlets. I'm big about keeping my cords neat and orderly - I HATE seeing cords all over the place behind my workstation. I use a lot of zip ties and velcro to hide that stuff.
the pivoting outlets enable me to angle everything appropriately, so I can fit more plugs and aim them the right way so as not to see them. great product.

Let's be honest, this knife looks kind of cheap with the plastic handle and overall design.
Upon receiving it for a gift last Christmas I was a little unsure what to think at first.
However, this knife freakin rocks and is amazingly sharp and I love it!
It is my new go to knife.
It holds a sharp edge for a long time. The stupid plastic handle is quite comfortable and totally durable.
For under 30, this is your best bet.

i would have to say that the journey is not a good alternative to the caravan. it's a fabulous vehicle, but not when compared the passenger space or cargo space of the minivan.
there is some decent cargo space when it's set up to seat 5, however seating for 7 leaves basically no room for cargo. remember it's a crossover vehicle, so it is quite a bit smaller.
if your family is on the large side I would say a minivan is what you need.

I have to go ahead and suggest the good old Toyota Camry. I have two boys, 11 and 15, both of whom are tall for their age, and there is plenty of room for all of us. The interior is quite spacious and so is the trunk. It's actually quite a large car. The gas mileage is amazing and it is an absolute pleasure to drive... super easy shifting (mine is a manual) it basically drives itself.
I am very pleased with my Camry, even after 4 years of use. I never have mechanical problems....this thing will last me until I'm 90. The bumper gets beat rather easily. That is my only complaint about the car.
Toyotas rock!!

i would say this is exactly what you are looking for... although I don't take a lot of night time star pictures, but the picture quality is excellent all the way around so i imagine i would get nice star pics.
it has full hd video recording and is really slim, and surprisingly robust and durable.
the picture quality from this little camera is just spectacular. i recommend checking out the specs yourself because it's a list as long as the nile.
impressive stuff once again, canon!

i have to say these are some pretty great headphones by sennheiser! they have good low bass and actually block a fair amount of outside noise, although certainly nothing close to noise canceling phones.
I definitely recommend these. amazing sound for the price.

not only does this compact speaker dock look sleek as hell but it produces some nice tones, too! it's not going to fill up up a whole huge room with sound, but it get's pretty loud and the music is crystal clear.
i think philips is a good company for stuff like this. the design is way cool and intuitively easy to use. it's easy to connect my ipod - and it is compatible with a nano 3.
if sound quality is important i sure recommend this docking radio thing. really nice product... i am happy as a clam!

I'm just going to suggest taking some foods that are healthy and that can be put in a ziplock bag and kept not refrigerated for a few hours. Things like baby carrots, celery, and dried apricots are excellent. Almonds are definitely good. So is peanut butter... maybe dip some celery in your peanut butter.
Berries of all kinds are excellent, too.
This sounds odd but costco sells these bags of mini sweet peppers that are delicious and packed full of vitamins. Great snack material. I also like bananas for work snacks. Hope this helps.

awesome awesome speakers you will love the way these sound! sony makes fabulous speakers for people like you and I who are on a budget. They have a good balance of quality and affordability.
The sound quality is nice and clear. The woofers do a damn decent job at pumping out the lows... although obviously a bigger woofer would have deeper tones.
The look good next to my flatscreen, and seriously add a whole new dimension to my home theater experience.

Asics were my first pair of running shoes, and I liked them so much they were also my second, third, fourth, and fifth pair! I think they are a good beginner's shoe because they are reasonably priced, tight fitting yet comfortable, and very light.

I've tried all those fancy foam pillows and stuff but I always come back to down. It supports my head and neck in such a way that others just can't. I like this backpack, I use it for carrying my laptop and my books and stuff for classes I'm taking. I like that there are a lot of compartments, and I also like the padded adjustable shoulder straps....it tightens right up to my body so I feel safer riding my bike with it on. Nice pack! Fits up to a 15" computer, so it should be a good one for you!

Fun reading and informative material. You will have fun with this one.

I am very happy with these Motorolas! i'm not sure if I get a full 23 miles out of them (I haven't checked) but I do get certainly a few miles which is more than adequate for my hiking/camping trips. Just a great way to communicate with others in your group. Very clear sound and easy to use. I notice a bit less performance in particularly mountainous or obstructed areas, but not to the point where it ruins their usability. Very happy with 'em!

I like this nivea for men stuff. It smells delicious and I guess is somewhat energizing, in that it is a blast of smell when you put it on.... wakes up your senses. Very pleasant smell.
I mostly like the fact that it doesn't dry my skin out. That is what drew me to the product to begin with. Moisturizes as well as washes. I like that.
As far as shampoo, I would say it's not my favorite but I'm no shampoo snob, so it'll do for now!
I like it and would recommend it to a friend.

This stuff is great I definitely have noticed less hairs are falling out and my hair looks thicker and fuller than it has in a couple of years. It noticeably adds some volume and makes my hair look healthier in general. I am using it as a preventative measure and am pleased with the results!
I use it with the crew recovery shampoo, and together I think they make a tremendous product.
I wil keep using it until for as long as I can because I am getting great results.

1800 is awesome... a great pure agave tequila. delicious flavor. worth the money. tequila is one of those drinks that if you aren't drinking a good one, it's not even worth your time! it simply won't taste like tequila is supposed to taste!

These are awesome. I got so sick of the ones I bought from Ikea... the cheap rubbery kind that stick to the bottom of your glass when you lift it and you don't know if it's going to make it all the way to your mouth or if you should stop half way!
I don't have that problem anymore thanks to these.
They are a really pretty mosaic and it's actually sandstone, so it feels and looks fantastic.
Do yourself a favor and upgrade to these coasters they are the best around and you will be very happy with them!

This is a wonderful mug if you are concerned with keeping your beverages cold (or hot, I guess). It has a double wall that very much helps keep the contents at a constant temp.
I love it for my beers on super hot days. Keeps my beer from heating up to air temperature way better than a glass would do. Nothing is worse than hot beer!
Except maybe hot root beer...

The Zoom is fantastic! Easy to use, easy to put the material on your computer, great stereo sound quality. It actually records 4 channels simultaneously, with it's external mics.
Now I will say it does take some getting used to when trying to figure out some of the more advanced features, but once you know your way around it you will love it! You will be surprised at how high quality the sound is on this little tiny recorder.

This here is a decent sweetener. It had me immediately worried because it contains a highly processed sugar alcohol known as Erythritol. I guess it's still organic because it's made from sugar, but I do think it's sort of a stretch.
Anyways beyond that it tastes pretty close to real sugar and has a nice amount of sweetness to it. I use it for my coffee and regular, everyday needs and i am happy with it!

I don;'t think you need to wear a tux, but definitely just one step below a tux.
Probably black pants, black coat, nice button up and a tie. Maybe dark blue or grey will suffice, but I think black is always more appropriate at the opera. Have fun!

in my opinion this is better than your average yellow wood glue because it dries faster and is an easier consistency to work with. has same dry strength as any other wood glue I've used in the past, if not better.

Look for something with high CCA number. CCA stands for cold cranking amps, and basically it's the amount of power the battery can deliver at zero degrees F. The higher the number, the better it will be at starting in the cold. Kirkland batteries are pretty awesome.

This adds a lot of hidden shelves to your closet, if you can spare the extra foot or so of space. it has six canvas shelves, sturdy enough to hold clothes or shoes or both. i thin it added a lot of extra space to my apartment. freed up some shelf space for other things. made pretty well - no complaints on quality. not really any complaints period! great little space saver.

I think this is as American as one can get. This shirt screams "I love America, and America loves me."
It is a high quality shirt made of 100% good old American cotton, and it's an attractive 3 button polo.

Oh man I am very excited about this suggestion! I think this is a great one.... for the whole entire family. All you need is a netflix account (9 bucks a month) and of course wireless internet (which you probably have anyway) and you can watch almost any TV show or movie you can imagine, any time, with no commercials.
It streams netflix & youtube to your tv, and you can pay to add more stuff if you want like watching basketball games or whatever. but the basic package is ridiculously cool and there are SO MANY choices. it's really easy to set up, and for a one time fee of $100 it's just incredible.
I've been watching everything from old episodes of inspector gadget to 30 Rock to The Shawshenk Redemption.
I'm talking EVERYTHING is available. Really good product, and great for the whole fam.

Not only one of my favorite war movies, but one of my favorite movies all time period.
Amazing special effects and a touching storyline, in traditional Speilberg style.
Extreme action is counteracted with a beautiful story line about trying to save the last remaining of 4 brothers.
The soundtrack in particular is beautiful.
10/10.

I have AWFUL allergies ALL the time. pollen, cats, dust. I have tried everything and I think this is the best. it does dry out my nose a little bit, ut that's the only side effect and for allergy relief this good I don't mind a dry nose.
nothing else works for me - benedryle puts me to sleep, loratadine doesn't do anything at all... zyrtec is the ticket.
pretty much completely eradicates my allergy symptoms without making me sleepy. Hooray for Zytec!

Dakine makes some great suitcases. This is a nice split layer bag with tons of space. Materials are high quality and it rolls smoothly enough.
The whole thing zips apart into two separate bags.
This is great for me as i can separate my suits and business clothes from my casual clothes, so it's essentially two suitcases in one. I love the split compartment.... one compartment would just be way too big... everything would get lost and swallowed up in it.

This is actually about a high school football team and as far as motivational movies go it's one of the best I've seen. If you're looking for something to show your team to get them pumped, this is it!!
It's about the football program at De La Salle H.S. and it chronicles their winning streak of 151 games.... the longest ever recorded for any sport? i think....
Lot's of motivational speeches from the coach and great locker room moments. Not tons of football action, but definitely lot's of great moments from the players and coaches, and lot's of insight into why they were so darn successful.
I recommend this movie for everyone and everyone. It's touching and moving for all ages!

Wow! Now that is a handsome watch! That's what I thought when I opened this as a present from my wife last Christmas. Oh man I was excited to wear this thing for the first time, and it's still a pleasure to wear it every day.
The thing keeps time like a champ. The leather band over time shapes itself to your wrist for a custom fit to you. The face is clean and simple with no unnecessary features to clutter it up.
The silver on black creates a striking juxtaposition of material and color. And it's solar powered. I love it.
Only thing I would change is to add luminous hands for night viewing...but I guess that's what cell phones are for!

This is a nice hemp shirt, but it is a hemp/cotton blend, jsyk. so you won't really feel like you're wearing hemp. Light and breathable, but a little stiffer than pure cotton.
Very comfortable..... otherwise I wouldn't recommend it!

Seat covers are the only thing I can think of. Get a light colored seat cover and you will be in good shape. Leather is particularly bad when it gets hot! Sticky. Gross. I've often wondered why leather is such a sought after car interior for this reason. It's also terrible in the cold.
Get some seat covers and you will be much happier.

This is a great Thermal that you will need to wear under your clothes. Get some under armor or something similar for the top, too You will need multiple layers, for sure. It's so cold there.
These are awesome! I wear them as an under layer when I'm out in the bitter winter cross country skiing.

AWESOME scratch concealer. Use with a microfiber on small scratches like those from a tree branch. You have to follow the directions!!!! THat is the key to success with s product like this. Think about what you're doing and you will get phenomenal results. Don't try to fix deep scratches that go through the top coat of your finish to the base because you can't really do that with this stuff. It is for light scratch concealing and generally bringing some life back into your car's exterior.
Works. Promise.

What a great design. You should check out this bag, because it is by far the most useful, versatile piece of luggage I have ever owned. If you plan on taking any day trips when you get where you are going, you need this bag!
It is 3 different bags rolled into one. You can see the rolling suit case in the picture, but there are separate compartments within it that allow you to take this bag apart and use it in different ways. For example the top half can zip off and be used as a duffle bag, and it can also be used as a backpack.
So you pack all your clothes in it as a suitcase, and then you can use the backpack for walking around and sightseeing! Brilliant idea and nicely executed.

This is a beautiful kimono with the famous wood block print by Hokusai (i just learned about him in art history, actually... it's a really cool art process). Anyways I like this kimono a lot. I've always been into the whole japanese culture for some reason, so it's fun to have a piece like this.
It's a satin like polyester material that drapes softly on me and feels deliciously soft.... although I do wish it was silk, and next time I will pay a little extra for something made of real silk.
But the material is still pretty nice and it feels great to wear around the house.

These are awesome pants. Carhartt makes a rugged clothing line. These things will take a brutal day's work and laugh at it!
These are tough. They have cargo pockets for nails or tape measures or whatever you need. They don't fit baggy or tight... they fit like a pant should fit- just right.
They are very comfortable...made of 100% cotton. That's the real kicker right there. Cotton pants are the best. Carhartts are the best.

I wear lots of boat shoes for my casual brown shoe type days. I think they are a good option because they are very comfortable and are neither too dressy or too casual. I can wear them with shorts to the boardwalk or with jeans to a nice place for dinner. I like wearing a shoe that will afford me some versatility.
These, specifically, are a new purchase of mine that I am very happy with. They have a wonderfully comfortable inside liner that makes it possible to avoid wearing socks and stay comfortable - something I really appreciate in the summer months. This shoe or something similar would be a great investment for you.

Right here man this is a beautiful two button plaid sport coat. I mean, beautiful. I guess I have an affinity for this color... I love gray suits and think they look classy as hell.
This one has a subtle plaid pattern happening, but not too much that it distracts from the light shade of gray that makes this jacket so appealing.
It's a durable wool blend... won't fall apart on you.
Great looking jacket for formal or informal occasions!

gotta love the kenneth cole reaction stuff. this is a wonderful bag. very attractive leather. i like that the front has the double buckle going on.... i actually feel like my important documents and such are safe in there. Comes with a nice adjustable shoulder strap, too.
It can fit a laptop no problem, but it's up to you to decide if you think it's a safe place for one! I am a little weary about travelling with my laptop in it because I don't feel as if there is adequate padding or protection for a laptop. I keep it in there sometimes for light travel, but just be aware of it.

I think for under 200 you'll probably only find something made of cheap polyester. Instead, you should look into a nice wool jacket like this one. You can tell the difference right away with a nice wool jacket like this.
You will definitely be able to find a pair of pants to match, in fact Tommy Hilfiger can probably match up the same exact color for you.
2 button jacket. very classy.
all the other components are easy to come up with on your own: pants, shoes, shirt, tie. Obviously make sure you fins an exact match because any difference will be noticeable, especially in the sun. Definitely contact the company about pairing this with a pant.

With colder weather just around the corner (doesn't that always seem to be the case?) you should consider something thick and warm like these Carhartt overalls. They are the real deal! really thick and rugged, they will keep you warm and protected from whatever you're doing.
Pay special attention to the sizing with these - it tends to be a bit funky. They suggest ordering a few sizes too large because you're going to probably be wearing clothes underneath, so keep this in mind. There is no science to it, you just have to consider what you will be wearing underneath.
These are great - you probably won't have to buy another pair of overalls for years and years.

This is a fun idea, although you might run into the same problem that I did, and that is the frame is too wide and blocks some of the license plate! Fortunately, you can see al of the important legal stuff still, so it worker out!
The letters are pretty durable and stay in place quite well. Fun to make it say something about that specific day, like 'tgif' or something.

I think a nice pair of sweatpants is key to a successful lounge around the house session. Anything that's extra soft inside should do nicely.

This is a really nice boot. It's cowboy style but not really a cowboy boot. Just modeled after a cowboy boot. very comfortable and definitely well made. yeah they cobble the hell outta this thing.
it's got a solid rubber sole and a waterproof leather upper. Very comfortable. Great boot!
|
|
|

I've always been a fan of the slide. This is the ultimate in lounge around the house/pool comfort. The sole is made of foam - kind of like crocs - so it's like standing on air. very comfortable. Not for going out in, obviously, but seriously the ultimate in comfort.

Pretty nice product - needs a bigger screen though!!!! I'm recommending it because I own one and it does work pretty well. If there's not too much light on the screen you can definitely see what's going on back there. Night vision helps, too. It's not as dramatic as their example (not even close) but it does help a little at night.
It was really easy to install. The camera fits right on your existing licence plate screws. The screen can mount right to your dash.
Also, It has an impressive 140 degree wide angle view, which is pretty wide for one of these devices.
I do have to say the screen is just too small though. Why did they make it so tiny? Just barely big enough to use! But it is still functional.

I have a tux, a dark blue suit, and a gray suit for going to fancy places. Just things I've accumulated throughout the years. I can't say I wear ant of them very often, but I have them still. I thin it's important to have a few nice suits laying around for various occasions.

yes any HID (high intensity discharge) light will be one of those super bright, blue ones you see on the road. Xenon probably makes the best. i actually got this as a gift from my wife a while back. i had no idea what to expect, but it turned out to be a really nice light, unobtrusive fragrance. i can wear it every day and not even really notice it, but ever so slightly, and i get compliments. people say i smell good! true story! great stuff, will purchsae again.

I'm assuming for an F150 you need a 70" as opposed to a 60"? Pretty sure. These are nice tool boxes. My brother owns one. I like the black compared to the silver.... just looks better, although wouldn't recommend it for really hot climates! Very durable, useful, keep your tools out of the rain.
Take our time and make sure you install it correctly and securely. This thing is big and heavy. You'll need a couple people to install it.
Pretty sure this is the exact one my brother has on his f150, so it should work. I would recommend calling them to make sure first, as this thing is HUGE and you don't want to have to ship it back if it doesn't fit!

I've found that no matter what soapy product I use, I always end up having to scrubbing the hell outta my tires and hubcaps anyways. So use whatever you want - mother's cleaner, soap and water, whatever, just be ready to get dirty! It's the only way!

While the XLE does come with those nice features, the thing that really sets it apart from the SE is that the SE is only available with front wheel drive. The XLE and LE offer you FWD or AWD, which is a huge bonus if you live in a snowy climate, like me. Other than that I would say they are comparable vehicles, and both equally attractive on the road.

These may not be fancy enough for what you need, but this is a great sandal. I only trust my feet to tevas as far as sandals go.
I think if you're wearing sandals to begin with, ultra formal wear is out of the question, so I think this could be a good contender. These are very durable shoes and well made, too.
I have owned like ten pairs of tevas in my lifetime...each pair better than the last. Try 'em out if you haven't already. You will fall in love.

I would say I'm pretty serious about my socks. I mean I hate wearing cheap socks or old socks or anything with a hole in it... yuck. I like my hard working feet to be swaddled, and these socks are the answer. VERY high quality, thick cushioned (expensive but worth it) socks. They're kind of low cut so they're okay with shorts and in the summer time. They're designed with runners in mind, so they have moisture wick technology, that is actually noticeable to my normally somewhat sweaty feet (sorry for the visual).
Awesome socks man!

I think every wrangler needs a bikini top, exterior gas can storage, awesome looking gas can, nice sound bar, nie front lights, maybe a rear exterior jack holder, nice speakers.... and at east one "Jeep" bumper sticker of some sort. Get him any one of these things and he'll be in good shape.

I bought this product after some internet research turned up only great reviews. It works very well and it would be hard to find a better wax. Brings out a nice deep shine, especially after a few applications.
One tip, though. Something I discovered was that the longer I left it on there, the better it seemed to work. I think it adheres better to your exterior paint if it sits there for a minute I would let it dry all the way, then buff it out.
Follow the directions otherwise and you'll be in good shape.

Honestly, I would feel kind of weird about it, unless we had picked it out together or if I had pointed it out to you or something.

If you've got the right sized wheel and a coupla hours to waste, this is a great cover! I got this as a gift and I don't think the people who bought it for me realized that you have to actually stitch up the whole thing!
So it takes a while, but one Sunday afternoon I found myself compelled to try it. About an hour later I successfully had it attached to my steering wheel (I have a 15' wheel and it fits perfectly). It's a nice, snug fit and it looks and feels fantastic. However, it is a 'you know what' to install!

Also remember if you decide to do it yourself: Keep constant upward pressure as you unscrew the filter and cap. Otherwise you will get a nice solid trickle of oil down your arm. But if constantly press up into the engine and then pull away quickly once the screw is all the way out, you should be golden. Good luck!

Yeah they work for light liquids only like coffee, juice, etc. Not for spagetti sauce or anything.
It's weird they say they use 'nanotechnology' in those pants. that's how they advertise it. It's just tiny threads.

If you find this is a recurring problem you should go get yourself one of those removable dog covers for the back seat. They are easy to put in and take out, and save you from not only pet odor but hair, too.

I personally like these because I think they look a little more 'manly' than most other cufflinks I've seen. I like the more rugged look with the black inset. The black part is carbon fiber. Something a little out of the ordinary but really cool indeed.

Definitely a watch. It's a really nice accessory and takes any outfit up a notch, a far as I'm concerned. Also, regardless of the price of the shades I'm bound to either break them or lose them, so I can't justify spending that much on sunglasses!

I would agree with Shelly above. You can get a pair of water shoes for like 15 bucks if you want to at walmart. Might as well not ruin a pair of tennis shoes. Plus, I'm sure you will use water shoes again sometime in your life. If you're going on a river trip you obviously like outdoorsy stuff and will probably get a lot of use out of them.

This is rel nice 32 ton heavy duty bottle jack, that's really designed more for lifting up your house than your car. But it will do both, no problem. Over all pretty easy to use... although I will say it takes a while to get it up high.... but it gets there eventually. Very wide base gives it a super sturdy feel.

Ice dozer is the perfect name for this thing... it seriously powers through any amount of windshield ice. The design is what makes it so effective and makes me love using it so much..... it really is ergonomic. You can get two hands on there very easily - one on the handle in back and one on top on that black part you see in the pic. This 'planer style' grip gives you more control and more power. Very useful for tough ice patches. Also has a removable brush for cleaning and whatnot.
Only issue with this thing is that the very end of the handle is kind of weak.... you can see how narrow the plastic gets. But, since the weight is distributed mostly to the front when you're using it, it holds up well and doesn't seem like it will ever break or be a problem. But time will tell.

I thin these are the best for the price. Obviously at this price you're not gonna get anything fancy, but you van certainly get a decent goggle that will protect your eyes and block the sun. These are actually designed for skydiving, so you don't ever have to worry about them coming off your head... they will be pretty much attached. They have amazing peripheral vision, and the foam around the lens is quite comfortable. It's coated with an anti-fog but it still gets a little foggy in there sometimes. I like the yellow but my wife thinks it looks stupid. These are not a heavy duty goggle by any means... not for your cross country road trip or super high speeds! But they will do the job for casual riding and definitely won't go anywhere but on your head.

If you ask me, this is the best of the best. I mean it comes with a little HD video screen... how cool is that!? Besides that, this thing comes absolutely loaded with features.
It has about 1/2 mile or 3/4 mile range, not quite the mile range they advertise, but still pretty good. Has shock sensor security system, remote starter, roll up and down your windows, a parking meter timer, trunk pop, HD status screen, and even tells you the internal temperature of your car. Amazing if you live in a cold weather climate like me and hate getting into a cold car. Equally amazing in a hot climate because you can roll down the windows and let all that hot air out of your vehicle before you get in it.
The HD screen shows you the remaining run time after you remotely start it until it automatically shuts off... a great feature so you don't accidentally start it and leave it on all day. It also reports to you if anyone is messing around with your car, as long as you are within range.
Here's the downside... you knew it was coming. The install guide is only available to authorized installers, so you have to find one of them and pay about 200 to get this thing up and running... unless of course you or a buddy know how to do it. I didn't have that luxury, so between purchase and install, this was very expensive. i love it though. my mornings are much more pleasant now!

This is a great kit that has everything you need to get going. I will say I think the 3000 ft range is a bunch of bologna... maybe under perfect conditions with no interference or anything it could get kind of close to this outrageous claim, but I just don't see it. But it's somewhat of a silly claim to begin with because who needs to start their car from a half mile away? Not me. That's for sure. I just need it to start her up from my window in the frigid winter mornings. But don't get me wrong, I do love this thing... otherwise I wouldn't be recommending it...
This kit has some nice features: optional two vehicle operation, programmable self-start, 3 remote start options (single press, double press or hold for two seconds - depends on your security style), and a sliding cover on the remote to prevent accidental start ups, which can e a huge problem!
You have to be able to solder if you wanna install it yourself, so I suggest taking it to a professional like I did. They did a great job and it works perfectly, just like I expected. However, it was way harder than I thought to find someone who was willing to install it, for reasons I don't understand.
Also, it is made of cheapish plastic, so be gentle with it. I think if you're careful you shouldn't have any problems!

The lowest of lows sound great on this thing, despite its small profile. It has a 10" woofer powered by a mosfet amp, also has low pass filter to adjust the sound to your specifications. A lot of people don't play around with this enough because you can make it go from really crappy sound to really nice sound by making some adjustments.
It's maximum power output is 800 watts. It has a good bit of power packed into this little design. Also has a passive radiator built into it, and a short/overload protection system.
Very rich lows and nice sounds throughout.... always helps to pair with a nice system!

Man I gotta see Alpine represented here somewhere! The make awesome car audio equipment. I own this woofer (the pic is just the bottom of it... it's just a normal looking speaker) and it rocks my world. I have it paired with a whole Alpine system, so it was very easy to integrate. It sounds AWESOME! i've never had a system quite like this before... just bumps like crazy... shakes everything in my car.
I think this sub was designed more for power than sound quality. Not that the sound quality is poor... it's actually rather good. But the noticeable features are the 'punch' at the beginning of each bass note and the power each note delivers... sound clarity is second in line to this, at least as far as I can tell. Also, it's obviously constructed for heavy duty use-cast aluminum frame and kevlar reinforced pulp cone... these things lean more towards volume than clarity. But let me say I am more than satisfied with this woofer and I highly suggest it.

|
I think this strap would be perfect for you. They are only 12 ft long and don't have all the bells and whistles of the straps that are designed for super heavy duty use. These are perfect for multi use, and moving stuff on your car especially.
They are really easy to use, just feed the webbing through the silver buckles (which are coated to be corrosion resistant) and pull down to tighten. That's it.
It's rated at 100lbs actual use and 300lbs break strength, so moving mattresses and stuff will be no problem whatsoever.

|
This is a pretty nice accordion style folding sun shade that I like because it folds up really small. I have a lot of crap in my car already, so the less crap laying around, the better. I can actually keep this under my seat. It works well and blocks UV rays... keeps my car cool.
My only complaint is that it isn't as sturdy as it looks in the pic... pretty flimsy, actually. Takes a minute to figure out how to make it stay up, but once you've got it figured out it's super easy.

I suggested this product before, and I'll suggest it again! this is another great Viair product that is a great mid-high range compressor. It can inflate up to 35 inch tires almost effortlessly, with it's 150 max operating PSI. The whole thing is incredibly easy to use... even the hose is super easy to connect. It's great for a new owner or someone who's been using these for years. Comes with a bag that everything fits into, to help you not lose important components.
These Viair's are very well built and have a reputation of being strong, reliable, rugged machines. Do yourself a favor and get one of these and I personally guarantee you will be happy with it!

I already saw the smaller version of this reviewed, and just wanted to add one this as a suggestion because I love mine and get a lot of great use out of it. It's basically the same as the p300, only a little bigger so it's capable of a little more. It can inflate tires up to 35". It can operate at 150 PSI. These are over all well built machines and a pleasure to use. I highly recommend these compressors.

I bought this last fall and am very pleased with it so far. It's very light, does what it's supposed to do, even comes with a very convenient carry bag so I can keep it all organized and not sprawled out all over my garage. It's just a nice thing to have around... a nice 'just in case' device that brings me piece of mind in a very useful and versatile little package.
It can inflate tires as well as jump your vehicle. It's powered by a direct 12V battery connection and has 120 PSI max rating. It has two alligator clips right on there...very cool. This thing can inflate all sorts of things from car tires to bike tires to basketballs.
Two complaints, though. The air hose is a lousy 5 feet. That's way too short. Most of these other ones have like 15 or 16 ft hoses, so 5 is way too short and they need to double the length at least. Also, the gauge on mine is a little inaccurate, always shows that there's slightly less PSI in the tire than there actually is.... but only slightly.
I would definitely recommend this thing to anyone interested in such a device!

This B&D rocks. It a 12V CORDLESS battery charger that charges completely in 4 - 5 hours. At the point of a fresh, full charge it should be able to fill 4 car tires. I've actually never used it for 4 tires in a row, so I can't attest to this fact. But I will say that I absolutely think it can do it because it has a lot of power and easily finishes any job I start with it.
It has a very accurate digital PSI gauge. Also comes with 3 connectors for different inflatables, although for some stupid reason it has no Presta connector for Presta bike valves.... ???? What's the deal? these are really popular valves on most high end bikes! I'm sure you can find an adaptor of some sort, although I haven't tried personally.
This is a fantastic tool to keep around, especially for road trips or camping trips or the like. My only serious complaint is that it is NOT user friendly and you MUST read the manual to understand how to use it. Not intuitive, as they say. But nice over all.

This is an awesome fiberglass shell half helmet with a cool zip on/zip off rear wind curtain. definitely a traditional, almost retro look, but with modern technologies. It features the traditional 3 snap visor and front air vents to keep your head temp regulated. Also coms with a bag... keep that sucker clean!!

I'm glad you asked about helmets in this price range because I immediately wanted to recommend this Hornet- it's an incredible helmet, arguably the best around for the price.
Not only does it look great, it's very functional and very heavy duty. Did i mention light? Yeah... super lightweight. Also very comfortable- has extra large ear pockets, so you won't experience any pinched, red ears.
More fun sats: The thing was tunnel tested for optimum aerodynamics. It has a ventilation system that guarantees to keep you cool on the road. There is a shutter behind the nose cover that directs air away from you face, meaning zero fog (except, I've noticed, when stopped in very cold weather...like under 30 degrees). You can order it with a visor and shield (like I did) or just the visor, or just the shield.
I will warn you about the only flaw in the design, and it's not even really a flaw, more like a fact of nature.... and that is that the visor can tug you around a little at high speeds. That extra lip adds a noticeable amount of drag to your ride, and any wind is liable to tug your head around a bit. Just be careful, as always.

This is an absolutely beautiful helmet for the serious rider. I love the way this thing looks... so fancy. The shell is constructed of a very light fiberglass and spectra composite, making it lightweight and rugged as hell. it has a really nice feature of a slightly wider eyeport for greater visibility, which has become my favorite part... especially after using other helmets. Other features include a flip down chin and face shield and a removable and washable inner lining.
The only tiny little problem I have with it is that there is this little tiny glare sometimes when the sun catches it just right, down in the corner of the sun visor! So annoying, but only happens ever so often.
Great helmet all the way around.

For some reason this particular helmet makes me think of Tron every time I look at it, and I love Tron so that pumps me up. I actually got this for my cousin, and she wears this helmet, not me, so I am speaking on her behalf. But I ride as well and know a thing or too about helmets and thought this would be a good starter helmet for her.
Mostly, I knew she would love the graphics... and boy was I right. But this helmet is more than just a pretty face... it can perform.
VCAN makes really nice helmets all the way around. It is really sturdy feeling in my hands and when I set it upon my head it feels very comfortable and fully padded. Easily adjustable chin strap makes it fit right on anyone.
It has clear glass, not the tinted stuff you see in the pic, so keep that in mind.
This is a very nice inexpensive helmet, perfect for medium intensity stuff.

looks like I bought it in italy. I love that! this is a fantastic helmet with all the right features for me, and the right look. some of the many, many features include: vents that pull air around you head to cool you, a pivot chin bar, so it's easier to communicate with those around you, sturdy straps and tons of padding. It's alo flexible enough to allow you to add communication devices right there in the helmet.
The one down side that kind of bums me out is that the visor isn't made particularly well, in fact not well at all. It seems to be some sort of cheap plastic material. I know the rest of the helmet is durable and would easily withstand a crash, but I'm a little skeptical of this front visor. i still use it and it doesn't feel like it's falling apart or anything, just not quite as tough as I'd like to see it.

i don't know if you're interested in full face helmets but i definitely suggest them to anyone and everyone. i was in a decently bad crash and if it wasn't for one of these i would have been in bad shape. This is of course dot approved and is adjustable inside. also has removable ans washable liner and ear pads. My only complaint about this helmet is that it tends to be a little tight in the front, especially like the forehead area.
Other than that it's awesome and looks radical.

like these half helmets quite a bit because I feel like they give me plenty of protection without all the extra bulk. This is a really comfortable and lightweight DOT approved helmet with a thermoplastic shell. I absolutely love how it looks.....makes me feel like a highway patrolman. It is so cool. Also has a removable visor and is headset ready, although it doesn't come with a radio headset.
It fits very comfortably on my head, nice and snug, and the chin strap is like the rest of the helmet - understated yet functional. I wouldn't say this is designed for high speeds or aggressive driving or anything, but if you ride like me...casually in and around town.... this is an ideal helmet for you.

As far as general awesomeness, this receiver generally takes the cake, but there are some issues that are worth bringing up. Firstly, it does pretty much everything, and does it all pretty well. It can play your mp3s, flash memory, am/fm, is hd/sat radio ready, rear camera ready, bluetooth capable, and so on. I had Sirius installed and got my bluetooth going right away. One of my only complaints is about the bluetooth.... very low quality audio and reception in general. People are always saying they can't hear me very well. So this is a big bummer. On the other hand, the Sirius radio works amazingly well and sounds absolutely fantastic.
The nav system is pretty good. I personally like garmins better, but that's probly just because i am used to them.
I would also say that the unit is kind of slow in general, takes longer than it should to get from one place to another, but I can live with that. The only other thing is the faceplate is unusually difficult to put on/off... maybe just mine or all of them? Don't know.
Overall great product, but like everything else has some weaknesses.

While this Clarion sounds really good and looks even better, it has some issues that bring it down a coupla notches. The pros as far as i can tell are as follows: very clear attractive screen, easy to use, hands free bluetooth, easy to connect iPod or iPhone, very clear face plate, and pretty solid audio capabilities...lot's of sound and very clear. The 6.5" screen is awesome to look at, and I just wish it worked as great as it looked!
The whole interface system is the problem here. It is not intuitive at all and is very complicated... the manual keeps coming out for things that should be obvious to do and are obvious on other systems. Also the touchscreen is touchy in all the wrong ways, like you touch it in one place and it registers a little off, and then takes you to the wrong screen and it all gets very frustrating!
Also, one last gripe, sometimes when I answer the phone with bluetooth on it won't mute the stereo, so both parties can hear it. This sounds kind of fun and interesting, but believe me, it's just annoying.

go with the old stand-by... it's so popular for a reason, you know! these smell good and last a long time.... especially with this 24 pack.
i like black ice, but they have an enormous selection of different smells, so pick one out that suits you best. Make sure you pick well, too, or you're gonna have lots of extra, unused smelly trees everywhere!

This is another great little radio that does basically everything - CD's, ipods, flash drives, and it's SAT/HD radio ready, if you want to use it (i don't though). I actually bought this for its built in bluetooth capabilities, which I am not very satisfied with... the mic kind of sucks and people on the other end sometimes have difficulties hearing me... although it does have hands free calling and on screen dialing which is pretty cool! The sound output sounds good, though. Lots of power and clarity. I like JVC products pretty much around the board... they always seem to work well for al long time.
I do ave a minor complaint that is silly and should have already been taken care of. Not a big deal just annoying - you can't control the volume on the dash when listening to music via bluetooth, only when hardwired to it. Weird.
Overall I like this thing and would recommend it to a friend!

This thing meets all my standards for any electronic device I buy: high quality and simple. I don't like to waste time with bells and whistles, I just want something that can very easily do what I need it to. Enter the Dual Mechless Receiver! This thing is awesome! It doesn't waste your space with a cd player or tape player.... no one uses those anymore anyways. This thing has no mechanical playback whatsoever, which usually means a longer life. It has AM/FM radio, is mp3/wma capable, and has front usb and sd card slots. Also has a 3.5mm input for your iPod.
It doesn't pump out a ton of sound... 60 watts at 15w/speaker, so keep that in mind. I mean it still sounds good, but nothing ridiculously loud or anything.... but that's not what you're paying for here. You're paying for the ability to listen to an infinite amount of digital music with so hassel and no problems!
You're also gonna have to pay for a watch, cuz this thing has no clock!

Any new car owner needs some of these guys. Protect that dash! These reflect sun away from your vehicle so as not to ruin your dashboard or seats. Also... who likes getting into a 150 degree car? No one! This will help keep the heat out on these hot summer days and the sun off your stuff year round. A must have for any car owner!

This isn't a whole system or anything, but this wax is like the best, ever, and you should certainly use it if you care about your car's exterior!
I am in love with my car (it's a mustang... no, it's MY mustang) and like to keep it looking fresh and clean, so I like to use the best products possible. I've never gotten such a nice sheen as I do with this stuff. Just follow the directions, use a little elbow grease, and BAM your car will sparkle like mine.
Remember that this is for medium to dark colored vehicles, so buy accordingly. Also, I would recommend buying some extra applicator pads, as you will certainly run out pretty quick. Happy waxing.

This is such an awesome little carrier... but I have to stress the 'little' part to ya. It is very small, and I don't know your personal needs. But if you only need a little extra space, you should really check this out. Perfect for short road trips or camping trips... which is all I use it for.
The reason I recommend this to you is mostly for it's supreme ease of use. It can be completely installed by one person in under half an hour. Just put it on your roof (make sure you have a roof rack that can support it) and place the included u-bolts under your rack and up through the bottom of the unit, then bolt into place. I do it by myself all the time and it couldn't be easier.
I also recommend buying Thule products because they make high quality stuff around the board. It opens on the side so it's really easy to get into....although this does present some seal issues... and by this I mean a side opening device has hinges on the other side, but nothing in the front to hold it down tight. Sometimes I get a small amount of leakage in there. Only a small amount though... it's not like the whole front opens up or anything like that! In general this is an all around great product... why else would I recommend it?

Just look at this thing and you can tell it's the real deal! I am very happy with my sportrack (except it can't fit my skis..... but I guess you can't win 'em all) and absolutely recommend to you as the best for under $400!
It adds 18 cubic feet of aerodynamic, rugged storage to just about any medium-large vehicle. It should mount to just about any after market Xbars (probly not all factory ones though) and is easy and quick to put on and off. It comes with a quick release u-bolt mounting kit, and goes on and off in seriously 10 minutes (get someone to help you, though...it's awkward).
The real reason you should buy this, though, is that it is completely waterproof, at least in my experience. Not even a small leak! Also... if you mount it correctly (like I did) you won't hear it rattle at all on the road. It's awesome. No complaints as of yet.

|
I recommend this with some hesitation, but will say it's a nice unit, you just need to know some things about it before you buy.
First of all, this thing is HUGE. It adds 18 cubic feet of cargo space for you, which will hold like 3 or four suitcases and various other items. It seems somewhat water proof (or at least resistant). We were only driving in very light rain, but our stuff stayed dry. It can hold about 100 lbs, but at that weight I would definitely add some strong tie downs to make sure it all stays together on your roof! That brings me to the next point...
The polyethylene material they use to build this is okay, but seems a little flimsy, especially under duress. It will bend under too much weight, and just really is not designed for high weight situations at all.... so keep this in mind and think about what you will be using it for. Don't expect too much out of a unit this inexpensive!
Now the next complaint (last one I promise!). Assembly and installation are kind of confusing and tough... definitely a two man job. It weighs 32 lbs empty and is large and cumbersome, so get a neighbor or something or something to help you out!
It comes with mounting hardware and a u bolt mounting kit and should attach to any aftermarket crossbars. I recommend this for anyone travelling on a budget... but there are certainly better carriers out there.

I think you will find lots of happy TomTom owners around as soon as you get one! These are really affordable, intuitive GPS units that have all the features you want out of such a device.... without the pop up ads that garmins have (for real).
This is the lifetime maps and traffic edition, and that brings up the only problem with the device. It's preloaded with so many features that it doesn't have enough room to upload the new map and traffic updates.... so you actually have to go through and delete some un-needed stuff from it so you can put the updates on there. This is kind of annoying, but get through it and you will be a happy camper (quite literally if you use it for outdoor adventuring, like me!).
TomTom speaks to you as you drive, and vocally tells you turn by turn directions. This is nice and keeps your attention on the road. It can also find the fastest route taking into account time of day, fuel conservation, and other factors. It shows you how fast you're going and what the speed limit is, and your arrival time. And, with the maps and traffic updates, it will warn you about construction areas and will know if a road no longer exists or if a new one has been built.
A really fun thing about any gps is that you will find new ways around places that you're extremely familiar with.. new roads and stuff to be discovered!
One problem I have encountered is that occasionally it will read a lane change as a new direction that you're going and will try to recalculate the route, which takes forever!
This is only occasionally, though, and isn't a deal breaker for sure!

This is almost the ideal two person tent, but one little thing makes it only a 3 out of 5 star tent! The good things first: It's pretty compact when it's rolled up and is very light, it has a 100% polyester shell with a polyethylene floor... this is great for weather protection. It has two entrances and vestibules, which become very necessary if you have a large pack If there are two of you in there, you won't have room for the pack, so you have to put it outside (watch out for bears and elevate it in a tree if yo need to!) This is more like a one person with a backpack tent.
it's super easy and quick to set up and take down, and even has a couple of little storage pockets on the inside.
The big hassel with this thing, and I'm surprised they have not sorted this problem out, is that the stinking poles are made of fiberglass and are kind of useless. I had one break on me within a week and had to order replacements. Really keep this in mind when considering tis tent... it can be very annoying and if you're out int he woods you surely don't want any problems like broken poles!

As an individual unit, this machine is great. is has all the necessary functions and a very nice sound output, as I would expect from sony. It's capable of 7.1 channel output, and even comes equipped with 4 active HDMI and 3 component inputs... for continuously adding devices to your home theater. It features blu ray ecoding and even wireless. multi room audio. The problems with this receiver seem to rise when you try to pair it with other foreign products. It tends to struggle with communicating with other devices (like my ps3) and it also doesn't come with any sort of analogue to digital converter, so it can certainly be tricky to get it to operate properly. There is also no on screen guide, so thank god for the internet.
I would give this thing 5 out of 5 stars for sound quality and 2 out of five for ease of use!
|
|
|
|
|
This is obviously very similar to the RX - 4105, but this receiver not only comes with a phono input but also a built in pre amp. It's so nice to play through all those old records! We just got our old record player refurbished and the sound is so beautiful with these things. Much better to listen to than digital music! This system can also be wired into multiple rooms in your house (it think just 2) and has 5 audio inputs including the tuner.
It puts out a bunch of sound and is very clear, and like similar sherwoods is very easy to use. Reliability seems to be an issue with these machines. Sometimes they'll give you a faulty one... so yo have to be sure yours works right when you get it and send it back if there are any problems!

I use this pack for my hiking trips around Utah, but I have a 55L, not the 90L shown here. It's an awesome top load, internal frame pack, ideal for weekend getaways! Mine has an adjustable aluminum frame, so almost anyone can use it. It has High Sierra's ergofit shoulder harness, which is a very comfortable, padded strap, fully adjustable. It also has this airflow design that keeps the pack slightly off your back to keep you from sweating and to keep you cool.
It's great for one or two night trips. It's is very comfortable and sturdy.... even comes with a built in rain cover! I would highly suggest this for someone looking for a mid - high level pack.

This is a nice little one step up from a 58. It an extremely responsive and accurate mic because it is also a condenser mic... so remember that it will require phantom power (it requires a power source to operate). This is cool because you get studio quality, condenser mic sound with the durability of Shure technologies. This mic just sounds so pretty all the time! It's a unidirectional (cardioid) condenser, so keep it up close to your mouth for best results! These are really nice, but you should always try a few out and see what works best for your voice!

Make traveling fun again like I did! I am very pleased with this netbook - basically it does everything I would expect a netbook to do, and that's awesome and it's why I'm suggesting it to you. It features the Intel Atom processor and is configured with 1GB DDR2 and 250GB of serial ATA hard disk drive space... if that means anything to you!
It's 10.1" and has truebrite widescreen display of 1024X600 res, and a 16:9 aspect ratio.
It also has an LED backlight and a Lithium Ion battery that will get you a full 8 hours of life. By far the best part about this thing is the full size main key keyboard... something not every netbook can offer you. What a great little machine! My only complaint is that you can't really run multiple programs at once. In fact, it will ask you to sut down certain programs to open up others... kind of a royal pain in the butt, but i can deal!

I've been very pleased with my polk audio system since I bought it last December. i was a little skeptical even purchasing a system for under $200, thinking it would be lacking seriously in quality... but it was my budget and I made a move!
This system comes with 4 satellite speakers, one center, and a woofer. The sat's are triangle shaped, which is supposed to be a better design as far as clarity and projection. It was easily set up and mounted on my wall within a couple hours. It also looks very cleancut and has some sort of magnetic shield to protect it from other electronic devices interfering at all.
I wouldn't say this is the best or loudest system out there, but for the price it's fantastic and has made my movie watching experience 1000X better.

AMAZING! These are simply the best in noise canceling. I won't say they're the best in every category, but certainly the best ever for noise cancelation. If you fly a lot like I do, you must treat yourself to a pair of these.... sell your car if you have to!
This exceptionally comfortable headphone was designed for the traveling man (or woman). They rely on AAA's to create the noise canceling action (which works by emitting a low frequency sound that actually cancels out exterior noise by producing an opposite sound wave) which you will always be able to find at the airport. They come with a case and an airline adapter, and also have a detachable audio cable, so you can wrap it without tangles.
The one bad thing... and I mean the ONE thing I don't like about this model is that the bass tends to be a little heavy. Especially if you listen to pop or heavily produced music... it just gets annoying after a while! Other than that, the sound quality is excellent. Pretty expensive, but absolutely worth the cash.

This dual spout stainless steel machine changed my life! I love being able to easily make my own lattes and caps... it's really fun and made me a big time coffee guy. I had expressed to my wife my interest in getting one of these, as my Starbucks addiction was getting out of hand. I never thought I'd actually have the patience to do this, especially in the morning. But I learned and I will never go back!
This Gaggia (Italian of course) comes with a single/double shot stainless steel filter basket, a tamper, and a massive 72 ounce reservoir, and in general is made really well and feels and looks solid (and expensive!)
I like to use my own beans because I have come to love the process of making the coffee, but it claims you can use the ESE pods with this machine. Let me tell you , they do not work very well... very weak coffee. If you want to use the coffee pods, get a different machine. But if you enjoy the satisfaction of making your own cappuccino from scratch, this is the machine for you.

What a great investment a home espresso maker is! Especially for coffee snobs like me who need a latte or two to be happy. This is a great machine that can brew grounds or pods into a beautiful cup of espresso. It features 2 thermostats so you can individually control the water and steam pressure. It's manufactured in Italy (the espresso capital of the universe) of a gorgeous stainless steel, so it looks really nice. Unfortunately, it also has a bunch of plastic parts that make me worry about longevity, but only time will tell.
As of now (about three months in) no problems to report. One complaint, though. With other similar machines I've seen you end up with this mini hockey puck shaped ground thing, but with this one I always end up with a soupy mess, every time! Not a huge deal, but I have to put it in the disposal and rinse it, instead of just chucking it in the garbage.
All in all a great machine that has brought me nothing but pleasure!

This thing is so great I'm so glad I bought it. I needed a camcorder that I could actually hold on to for more than five minutes without getting freakin tendonitis. Does anyone else have this problem? That these small rectangular cameras are super uncomfortable?
Anyways, this is great. Films HD video and takes 7mp stills. It even boasts in camera editing for quick adjustments to you work. The 5X zoom is okay but nothing to write home about. It has an HDMI output for easy viewing on your tv and I really like that it is easily compatible with my mac and I can even use iMovie to edit.
Now the one problem with it, and it's kind of a big deal, is the narrow field of view. I read the reviews online and wanted to check it out for myself. It is pretty narrow and it's almost like being slightly zoomed in all the time. Obviously it wasn't a huge deal to me because kept the camera. But depending on your intended usage this could be a deal breaker.
|
|
|
|
|
Featuring a super sleek brushed metal design, this camcorder shoots even better than it looks! Wow that sounded so cheezy and contrived. But I do mean it...this is a really nice little flip that is the ultimate in sleekness. This model has 8gigs and can record HD video for 120 minutes, then you plug it into your computer and within minutes you be editing, watching, or sharing with the world!
These cameras are really great for casual, fun filming. Obviously not for serious, super high quality vids. The images it picks up are definitely HiDef and look fantastic on the little 2" LCD screen. When they go onto my laptop (or any larger screen) they lose a little integrity, but in general I am pleased with the picture quality. Bright lights tend to wash out faces a bit, as in stage concerts and such.
The camera is incredibly easy to use, literally just point and click.
My only concern is that 8 gigs is not enough memory for me! I don't like having to always put my files right on a computer to make room for the next movies. There's no way to purchase extra memory for these things.... you get what you get.
Also, I will say I've had some power issues from time to time, like the batteries aren't providing power or not connecting right, but this always seems to work itself out with a little giggle :)

I feel like this is all you need to think about buying online to get started making sushi at home. You're gonna have to go to the store to buy all the fresh ingredients you need anyways, so you might as well use that time to buy your soysauce, wasabi, pickled ginger, and other necessities.
I'm sure there's nothing wrong with buying a whole kit online, but why pay extra to have it shipped when you van find all this stuff at a grocery store near you for probably a better price?
You should look for a good sushi book though that has a lot of tips and proper techniques and stuff. That way you won't mess up!

You should be making food out of a book that was named one of six all time cooking bibles in the New York Times! Yeah.. it's that good. the author even owns an Indian food school, the Julie Sahni's Indian Cooking School.
Reading this book is like taking an entire course in Indian food. She explanes every ingredient and method in a way that is easy to understand, and compliments it with a ton of line drawings to make sure she gets the point across effectively.
This is like the ultimate cooking guide for Indian food, drawing on all the diversities and influences from across the extremely varied culture. Highly recommended.

What does visco elastic memory foam mean? Well to me it means i can sleep all night without tossing around at all! and that makes me a very happy man. also makes my wife very happy because she doesn't wake up when i move, and she sleeps pretty light.
It really is an amazing product that contours to your body's natural curves and basically hugs you all night long. I can get comfortable in any position at all.
it also disperses heat pretty well underneath me and generally keeps me from getting too warm.

Don't worry these aren;t as small as the picture makes them look! They are normal sized shin guards. I like these because there are no uncomfortable straps to deal with. They are really lightweight and stay nce and snug in my sock.I never have a problem with shinpads falling out, so I don't understand the need for all the straps and stuff.

This is a great little starter interface from M-Audio. It only has one mic input (for phantom powered condenser mics or dynamic mics) and one 1/4" for bass, guitar and stuff. Works great, just like it should. Compatible with most music software, and even comes withits own software to get going immediately. Also has two rca outputs so you can listen to you masterpiece through your home stereo system.

This is almost the best lantern ever! Almost. It has some of the coolest features I've ever seen, but they need to figure out the whole battery thing.
First of all, the good stuff. This area lantern features four removable LED panels that can each be used individually for lighting. each panel has its own rechargeable battery that recharges in the base of the lantern! When all panels are lit it produces 190 lumens.
Now the bad part. It runs on 8 D batteries. That's a lot. And, you only get about 1.5 hours of light from each individual panel. However, when used all together they say it can last up to 75 hours. Great product, just a couple of flaws.

I only trust a mexican cookbook if I know the author is mexican! For real! Generations of family secrets and recipes have trickled down to the present generation, so you can really only trust someone with the right background.
Roberto Santibanez is the real deal. He was born and raised in Mexico City and has a passion for the flavors and customs of Mexico. He now owns a fabulous restaurant in Brooklyn called Fonda.
This book of 140 recipes tends to focus more on sauces than anything else, which is perfect because that's really where you get the flavors. It features things like apple tequila guacamole and mexican pumpkin seed sauce. It also covers how to prepare all your ingredients correctly, and even shows you how to make your own tortillas and roasted peppers. Authentic mexican is the only way to go!

Rockport makes some super comfy kicks that are also stylish and will last. These have a full grain leather upper that also happens to be waterproof, so don't worry about spilling that champagne on your shoe. The padded tongue provides some extra padding and the bottom cushion (that is removable) is designed to help circulate air through the shoe to keep yo ventilated and breathing.

This is the exact clipper my mom has for her dog calie. I remember when I was younger she used to make me help her hold down our other dog because she was so freaked about getting her nails clipped it was totally a two man job!
They work very effectively... you just have to be very careful not to cut to far down or you'll cut the vein and make your pet bleed a little. I don't know how painful it is for them, but I can't imagine that feeling very good at all!

If you're going for straight up sight seeing capabilities, get something the scuba divers wear. You know they don't mess around with their goggles, so why should you!? If you are willing to spend up to $100 you can get something really nice... so you might as well! These will open up the underwater world like you've never seen it before! It's got a huge tempered glass lens that attaches directly to the outer skirt. This means clarity and absolutely no leakage.
Easily adjustable for a comfort feel... you should get a snorkel, too, because you're not going to want to come back up!

I just picked this up last month to build an addition on my house. I had an older one, but it was just getting worn out and was more of a hinderance than a help. I have been doing construction on the side for pretty much my whole life, and know a thing or two about nail guns.... and I can tell you this one is fantastic. It's like having three extra hands on the site.
It comes with an adaptor that enables you to use it for framing nails and metal connector nails, however, I only ever use it for framing, at which it excels. You can use 1.5" to 3.5" framing nails, and reloading is a cinch (the usual pull down action). It has 1050 in./pounds driving power. It's pretty heavy but not too bad because of the comfy rubber handle.
The only issue I can see is connection problems with the air compresor. There seems to be the tiniest little leak ever... but i don't think it's the gun, I think it's my old hose. So I suggest getting new equipment for your new gun!

You can use this as a hamper, and when you're ready to go to the 'mat just strap it on like a backpack! Such a good idea. I could have used his when I was in college and had to ride my bike everywhere. You could totally ride to the laundromat!
It has huge nylon straps and a pocket for your dryer sheets or whatever. Also, it is made of mesh, which is a very important part of this design! keeps your clothes fresh and as not stinky as possible!

These are great. Sharpie makes one hell of a permanent marker, and these pens use similar technology, with the preciseness of a fine point. Same permanent ink and high quality product, in a more usable form!

You might want to look into an electronic filing system. They can be finicky sometimes and frustrating at other... but so can moving around a huge filing cabinet! These are great if space is at a premium. How it works is by scanning your papers and saving them under a keyword that is easily searched for and located. It turns your piles of paper into useable, sharable document files.
Pretty neat, but it can issues such as upgrade difficulties and storage/saving problems. So do your research before you commit to one!

I am so thrilled that I found this pillow and i want to share it with the world (the idea, not my pillow!) It actually heats and cools to counteract your body temp and keep you balanced. I'm a libra so I like the sound of that!
It works by these little PCM beads that absorb heat and feel cool, and vice versa. It's pretty awesome and you'll notice it working. It's made of visco elastic memory foam which means ultimate comfort, and a soft, 300 count sotton cover that happens to be hypoallergenic! Great pillow for great sleep.

Most sheets I see in the store only go up to around 1200 thread count, but not these beauties! Yeah, they're at 1500 thread count and are like sleeping in a cloud! This is luxurious sleeping here... treat yourself to these sheets and you won't be sorry!

This is what I would suggest to you... I have the same issues because I work on my laptop all day. This really helped me. It has a usb connector so it's very easy to use with most any computer with a usb port. It really relieved a lot of the pressure that was building up in my upper fore arm.

I love the clean lines and simplicity this thing offers. I have no need for fancy bookcases... just a place to put my books! The 'X' design on the side looks classy and provides for structural integrity under the weight of all those masterpiece novels that you're finishing!
You do have to assemble it... but that's to be expected if ordering a bookcase online, right? Assembly was quite easy, too. No more than 20 minutes.

I think huggies are the best... at least in my experience. I like the soft skin version, though. It is infused with shea butter and is alcohol free, so it moisturizes really well. Great for dry climates like the one I live in. They just feel like they are of higher quality than other brands I've tried. They never tear and they never dry out. Also come in a refillable tub.

This is a fantastic gift for your wife... but be ready for the countless hours of massage that will ensue! She will be begging for massages left and right, day and night. At least that was my experience! But that's okay, that's why I bought it for her (she reciprocates, too...another perk!).
I'm sure your wife loves massages (who doesn't) and all you have to buy is a little massage book to learn how to give a decent massage. Take turns melting each other's stress away at the end of the day!
This thing is very comfortable to sit on, and folds up pretty small for storage.

This aquarium is cool because it's designed for panoramic, 360 degree viewing. The LED lights light up the water and hood and are a really cool effect. It looks awesome on my countertop, and I get a lot of compliments on it. So visually, it's really awesome! But there are some setbacks.
It doesn't come with a filter... the poop and stuff just settles under the rocks because there is some space under there. It's pretty hard to find a filter that will fit on a curved surface like this... so good luck with that! Also, you would have to buy a heater, but that;s easy enough. all in all, this is a very aesthetically pleasing, cool tank, but is going to require a little extra effort!

I feel like frisbee is the ultimate beach game. I would recommend getting a heavyweight disc for the beach though, as it can get windy out there! It's fun to play right at the edge of the water.... you might have to dive in for it!

This is what I carry my SX30IS in and your 20 should fit just fine. This one has enough room for the lens on that rig. It has a water resistant nylon outer and a really soft material on the inside to protect you new camera!
It's great for field photography because there are tons of little compartments everywhere, inside and out, as well as a divided inside compartment for extra equipment. It also has really fast hip access into the main compartment, so you can be sure you won't miss the action.
Also comes with a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap. Great case!

Wow this is a really great product! I use it almost everyday, not for huge blowing projects, though. Just to blow the leaves and those pesky oak tree pods off my eck and driveway. I like it because the ergonomically correct design makes it possible to do the whole deck and under all the furniture with out bending over at all.
It's really easy to switch between blower and vacuum, and, though I don't use the mulcher much, it does mulch quite well when I need it. It only weighs 13 pounds and kicks out 12 amps of blowing power. I love the fact that it's electric. It makes it much easier and cleaner, and more environmentally correct.
I will say, however, it's not the most durable machine I've ever had. It has been great thus far, but the plastic material feels like it could eventually start to deteriorate a little We'll see!

A bikini top is a really nice way to get a little sun coverage and still have that outside, rugged jeep feeling. This is a great design because you don't have to drill or do anything permanent to your jeep. This top has runners along it that snap onto your front windshield. Really easy to install and very secure. Also keeps you out of the rain and keeps all those other accessories dry!

This stand is really nice for the musician on the go. It's really easy to fold and unfold and is quiet solid and durable. A little heavy because the face is one big piece and the legs have cast iron housings, but not too bad. great for those huge big band books and hymnals and other heavy books.

These are cool because you get to be a design engineer for the day. The fins are moveable (up to 48 different configurations) so you can put them on any way you like and design your own rocket model! It's a really high flyer, too, up to 1600'. The bright yellow makes it easy to find, too!

If you are going purely for aesthetics this is the kite you need! I got this kite for my son and it has been an absolute blast. It actually flies pretty well, right out of the box, and, although it's not so great at doing tricks or anything, provides hours of entertainment for me, my son, and onlookers!

This is the best show ever!!! Seinfeld used to be my favorite, then this show came around and it changed my life. They're actually kind of similar in some ways. It's about some friends who own and work at a pub in philly. The shows are similar because the characters are all a bunch of a holes who care only about themselves and pretty much do nothing all day, except get into really wacky situations. Super funny and ridiculous, I highly recommend this show.

In the world of climbing, black diamond is always a super reliable brand... and that's what counts in this sport. This taco style pad is really light (6 lbs) and extremely portable, with two handles and a shoulder strap. 3 inches of foam should be enough to cover your ass from a pretty high fall, although if you're planning on really serious climbs, maybe you want something thicker.

This is a fantastic product at a great price. I use for my kitchen appliances, and it's especially great for my stainless steel fridge. It goes on quick and polishes quick, too. Make sure you don't accidentally inhale any of this stuff, because it's incredibly toxic. Only use in a fairly open space!

I suggest this because there is a whole plan that goes along with it. See, you need to set up the alarm clock on the other side of the room, so when the super loud alarm goes off, you are forced to stand up and cross your room to turn it off, thus getting you out of bed. The display is huge, which is key in this plan, because you still need to be able to see the display from across the room. Try it out! Works for me!

I think this is a great all around ball. The seamless urethane cover gives a little bit and is more sensitive to my touch. All around the ball seems to be more willing to do what i tell it! I would definitely say that it's 95% about the golfer, and 5% the equipment!

This is a great bike for her age group. It's actually intended for ages 6 - 10, but kids grow so fast I think it's important to buy something they can grow in to and use for a while. The bike is really solid feeling and high quality material... something you could certainly get years of use out of. Of course you can attach training wheels, but they do not come with the bike. However, it does come with a kickstand, a bell, and classic white wall tires. This is a bike she will be proud of for years!

This is a great mobile, modern looking bassinet. It's less permanent than some models, and has wheels on one end, making it extremely easy to move it around the house and take it outside. The canopy offers little sun protection, but you can throw a sheet or something on there if you need more shade. The attached changing table in very useful, as is the storage area for baby wipes and stuff. Everything is raised up high enough to reduce back pain as you constantly care for your young one. It also has some nice features like a soothing vibration option and lights and gentle sounds for your baby's amusement.

I always thought these were fun, even when I wasn't just a little tot. I think I even had one of these in my backyard in college... for completely different reasons though. It's a nice way to cool off and hang out in the hot summer months. You've got to be super careful about where you put these inflatable ones, though as they are liable to pop. I like the inflatable variety because they are way more comfortable to lounge around in than hard plastic. Also, be prepared to change the water often or figure out some way to cover it when not in use... bugs like to fly in there when no one is looking!

My nephew has this game (i know this because he forced me to play it with him for hours) and let me tell you - he loves it! A lot! It's fun for kids because you get to be a young version of scooby doo, and all the characters are in fact young. I thought it was pretty cool because I loved scooby doo when i was young, so I was happy to see him still hangin around!

I've always thought these were the way to go as far as extra cargo space. They are sleek and aerodynamic, as well as waterproof and very affordable. You do need a crossbar on your roof, though. At 18 cubic feet, you can fit a lot of crap in there!

These are awesome little grills. I actually bought one at a home show because I was so impressed with the stuff the guy was making right there in front of me! A great alternative to cooking on the grill. Oh and you can fill this inside ring with water to catch drips and reduce smoke.

This may be out of your price range, but this set is fantastic. It is great for working on all sort of projects around the house because there are two drills: one for drill driving and one for impact driving. Some drills offer the ability to switch between hammer driving and drilling, but it's not as effective as two separate machines, each designed for a specific use. These are designed for repair men and maintenance men, but I even used them to build my new deck/outdoor kitchen.

If you need a laptop for travelling, you probably want something that's A) lightweight B) Compact C) long battery life. This little guys covers the ABC's! At only 10.1 inches it's the perfect size for taking wherever life takes you. It also has a really long battery life, around 6 hours.

You should start discing. It only took me one summer to really get the technique down, and now I compete in national disc golf tournaments. There are disc golf courses all over the US, so I'm sure you can't be too far from one.

This is a serious rain jacket designed with the fisherman in mind. You can't go wrong with gore-tex. I'm not a fisherman myself but I live on a lake and it is wet and cold! This jacket really keeps me dry as I wanna be.

This one is really simple but both my girlfriend and I have this bag and its perfect for all of my travelling. You can even fit the power cord in there because it's neoprene and
it has a lot of give. The padding is pretty thick, so your computer won't get banged up at all.

Omega makes some serious, commercial grade juicers for people like me who like to juice!! I love my omega and use it almost every morning for my newest juice concoction. I like it because it puts the juice directly into a glass and collects all the pulp, which just makes the whole process easier.

This is my personal favorite, but I'm sure everyone else has a thousand different opinions. This one feels the best in my hand as far as weight and shape and I get the most distance (though not necessarily the most accuracy) with this disc.

This is an awesome deal for a Gretsch. They make some world class kits and you can't really go wrong with one! I look at buying a drumset as an investment. If you spend a little more you will get a much higher quality product, that, if in the future you find it's collecting dust, you can sell it at a reasonable price and get a good portion of your money back. Lower quality drum sets don't really hold much value. If this does become something you're serious about, you will already have a great kit!

This is a nice beginner to pro shoe. La Sportiva makes some ridiculous climbing shoes, and this is their all around shoe. Super comfortable and good for everything from bouldering to crack climbing. I like lace up shoes because they won't come off until you take them off!

This unit is beautiful! I can't believe I got it for such a great price. It has a granite countertop, stunning clean lines, and is completely mobile on wheels. Has drawers and storage, too. It is now the best part of my whole kitchen!

This is what I recently purchased for my home office. The pros? Sleek and modern look, u-shape for lots of desk space, utility drawer, file drawer, and it's reversible and affordable. The cons? Assembly is required, and is not too easy! Lots of parts... so pay attention when assembling!

I recommend this set because it mostly consists of swings, which are fun for any age! It's made of stainless steel so it is strong and rust proof, and the slide is coated in a UV protectant so it won't fade. Our kids get a lot of use out of ours, and it really holds up well in bad weather.

If you want really high sound quality, you should go with wired headphones. They just sound better... there's no way around it. However, there is something really nice about the freedom of a wireless set, and that's where these come in! The sound is pretty darn good and the directional sounds are nice, too. (you can hear what direction things are coming from) Some occasional connection problems, but nothing serious.

I've been racing like crazy on this wheel. It's very realistic and sturdy... feels like I'm actually driving. Some specs that caught my attention:
6 speed shifter & a shift indicator
very realistic feedback from the road
steel pedals
real leather covered steering wheel (although it can get slippery when sweaty...)
carpet grips on pedals so they don't move too much
realistic turning radius, similar to many real cars
plus it looks nice! and logitech usually has a reliable product

I think this is the best lens for the money... at least it works well for me! I take amateur concert pics, mostly of local rock bands. I use it all the time in really dark venues and get really high quality pictures.

I've always been more of a Nikon man... for some reason I just prefer how they feel and the results I get from them. This DSLR I am particularly fond of because it takes amazing up close shots... unlike any others I've seen. It's really easy to use, and makes me look and feel like a pro.

This is an awesome budget treadmill, with all the features of a professional model (like incline options and a heart-rate monitor). You can also go online and download custom workouts and have someone push you along the way... a feature I know I certainly need and love due to my overall apathy! I run pretty hard on it and have never had any problems.

This is totally my favorite board game ever. You make up definitions for real english language words that you've never heard of and get points for tricking the other players into voting for yours. The real definition is included though, so you also can get points for picking the real definition. Sooooo fun and hilarious, especially if you have creative friends!
