What about this blender from KitchenAid? It has 5 speeds, a large pitcher, and a bunch of good reviews to go along with it. Smoothie lovers say it is excellent fo smoothies.
Has a stainless steel blade, shatter resistant pitcher, die cast metal base.... should last a while. I think it is worth $90 to get a real solid blender, especially for smoothies. Those cheapies break so quickly if you try to chop ice. This one won't break any time soon.
Also - comes in variable colors! I like tangerine.....

Hi Allen. These have an excellent jam-proof system, as do most of the Fellowes shredders. Basically, their system involves sensing when the shredder is over capacity and stopping the operation before the jam happens. Prevention instead of reaction. Its large volume should be perfect for an office situation... actually this model is designed for small business/office use.

You should check out this one from Amazon basics. Looks like a surprisingly well rounded, medium duty paper shredder to me.
Here are some of the key points:
-shred up to 12 pages at one time
-auto. shut off if a foreign object is inserted
-separate slot for shredding CD's (also shreds credit cards, staples, etc)
-has a reverse feature to clear paper jams
Not ideal for large loads, but a great medium duty shredder. I guess it's a little on the loud side... other than that I think you're going to be real happy with it.

This would be my suggestion. This mouse is so great and has so many cool features, like they give you little weights that you can use to add or subtract weight to the mouse, for a custom feel. It has a comfortable shape for your hand. Laser precision tracking. 10 programmable buttons. Even has some onboard memory so you can save your specific settings. Other cool features as well. Look into it, it's a great mouse.

i'm not going to say these are phenomenal, but I do think they are a great option for the price. Totally the best deal under $20! Well built and decent sound quality.... actually surprisingly good for the price. Check out all the good reviews on my link if you don't believe me ;)

I think this is the best Android tablet available right now. The only one that truly competes with iPad all the way around for best user experience. It has Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich (over air update), the newest OS from Android. It has NVIDIA Tegra 3 mobile processor and a 10.1-inch WXGA Capacitive Multi Touch Display...very accurate and easy to use. Also has 32GB eMMC Flash and 1GB DDR2 memory.
It actually has a better resolution than iPad and is more powerful, and utilizes Gorilla Glass to help keep it safe.
So yeah, it can do everything iPAd can do. Also, it can be attached to to a keyboard, essentially turning it into a laptop, which can be very convenient. Also has a 1.2MP front camera and 8MP auto-focus rear camera.
All great stuff! Definitely the best right now if you ask me.

I think any decent laptop should be able to access the internet with similarly fast speeds. Your bottleneck is really going to be your internet connection.... you are only as fast as your internet. Maybe something with an SSD would make browsing a little faster? I don't know...
But I have this macbook and I find it to be extremely fast with my web browsing, and if you are open to buying apple I would highly suggest a macbook!

Mostly just posting this for shock value... $22,000!!?? Wow. Medium format though, shoots 37.5 MP. Leica makes a hell of a lens, too.

This is a tough price/size range, pure and simple. I actually noticed that if you can afford to go with a slightly larger Tv (maybe in the 30"-39" range) you can get something much better that will offer 1080p, 120Hz (preferable for watching sports) and faster response times.... in general better for sports watching.
But if space is at a premium, this Vizio will be pretty nice for you. It has 1080p full hD so the picture will be very sharp. It features a nice thin design and LED backlighting.
The picture will be excellent, sound might only be a B, B+, and I think you will be happy with it.

Hi Amy, I'm trying to put myself in your shoes here. If I was trying to shoot action shots at a sporting event with a bunch of friends and kids around, I think I would want something compact and light that could stay in my pocket and be easily accessible. The less you have to carry around, the better. Also, with so much going on, I wouldn't want to have to think very much... I would want to be able to whip out my camera and get the shot, and get it right!
I think this ELPH by Canon will be perfect for you. It's very small. Thin and light. It will easily fit in your pocket/purse/whatever. It's incredibly easy to use...thus the "Point and Shoot" title. Being a Canon, it will take excellent pictures. It has Canon's 12.1 MP CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 image processor, which will enable for excellent action shots.
It's ready to take photos very fast. From the time you press the button, it is already catching the action, almost instantaneously. The time between taking photos is about 1.5 seconds, so you won't really miss any action.
Also, it can do High-Speed Burst Mode, which captures eight frames per second. Hold down the shutter button to catch rapid-fire action shots, perfect for sporting events.
And one last thing is you can record full HD video on this thing, and then watch your videos in slow motion later.
All cool stuff, definitely great for sports shots.

I think you may be surprised what you can get for under $500! Vizio makes an excellent product. This one has a 32" screen... I think that's a good amount, although you may want more. It features an LCD screen and is LED backlit... a great technology that results in lower power consumption.
This particular one in 1080p, full HD. The picture will be beautiful! It is also internet ready, so you can download internet apps and stream directly to your TV.
This will be a great choice for you! I have a Vizio and love everything about it!

This is a good suggestion and it's only $30 over your budget. Not too bad at all, especially for a nice monitor with 2ms response time. Wel done, Asus. I agree with Jake in that this is a great brand for your inexpensive options.
Besides the response time, you're also getting a nice 23-Inch wide screen, 1080p full HD LCD screen to look at. It also has built in speakers.
Nice stuff all the way around, and you can't beat it for the price.

This would be right at the top of my list. It will be amazing for general purpose shooting, as it is a very well rounded camera in general. It will be equally adept at shooting sports, portraits, low light and landscapes... you name it, it can do it. It can also shoot HD video.
It's a medium sized camera and will feel comfortable in your hand. All the operations will be easy and intuitive. And the best part is you will be able to take some incredible pictures! Here's what you can look forward to:
-18.0-megapixel CMOS (APS-C) sensor (CMOS sensors are great because they tend to be a little more forgiving than CCD sensors, meaning more of your shots will turn out!)
- DIGIC 4 image processor for high image quality AND speed
-This particular kit includes a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens
-ISO 100-6400 (expandable to 12800) for shooting from bright to dim light.... yes, low light shooting will be a breeze. The DIGIC processor makes low noise, high ISO shooting possible.
-EOS Movie mode with manual exposure control and expanded recording... you'll be shooting video in1920 x 1080 (Full HD)
-Wide 3.0-inch Clear View LCD monitor, but it still has a view finder.
-Compatible with with SDXC memory cards... lots of pics/movies can fit on there!
This is most definitely a great choice for you. Canons take fantastically clear and vivid pictures and are quite user friendly. Can't go wrong here.... you will be in good hands with Canon.

This is what I have and I think it adds a lot of depth to my audio. Surprising, considering it's size and price, but I think it added a necessary upgrade to the audio quality of my pc. It obviously made everything sound better. And it's awesome that it's so small and portable.
Definitely recommended!

Are you sure the battery was charging all night? Is it possible that it wasn't connected right or the outlet was dead or something?

Aside from a ton of pre-installed garbage software from Asus, this is a great machine. I don't know why they put all that crap on there, but the first thing you need to do is remove it. Ahhhh now we're ready to go.
Now you can enjoy this nice looking laptop to it's full potential. Okay , so the processor isn't the fastest one in the world, but for everyday stuff like email and word processing and the like it is more than adequate.
It comes with Windows 7 and an AMD Radeon graphics card, and a 50 GB hard drive.
Not a powerhouse, but great for day to day general use.

I think this is a great looking board, of course its got those little drawers underneath to hold all the pieces. Decent size, good price, attractive board and pieces.
I like!

Two words: HOT. TODDY.
I looooove me a hot toddy!
This is by far my favorite holiday drink. It just reeks of holiday fun! It's actually a Scottish drink.
Ingredients include (but aren't limited to):
Whisky
Hot Water
Honey
fresh lemon juice
cloves
zest of lemon
Now if that doesn't sound fresh and delicious, I don't know what does.

If you would like a cheaper option I would suggest this one to you.
Honestly, I don't see why you would need anything more than this, unless you're not into it aesthetically.
It will take 6 fans, although it only comes with one (as in the picture). It will hold multiple hard drive no problems, an adequate fans to keep everything cool.
Personally, I think it looks great and I am very pleased.
I should also mention that the build quality is actually quite good (considering the low price) and that it is light but sturdy.
Good case! Save your money by buying one of these.

Have you seen these before? I think you would really like this stand, seems to be exactly what you are looking for.
However, you will of course have to have an external keyboard to use it, so I don't know if that is of interest to you. But it will bring the computer up to a more comfortable eye level.

I have gotten a lot of good use out of this little guy. You can seriously pull a signal from anywhere. I think it provides a lot of signal for such a low price.
It comes with a usb cable and the necessary software. Pretty easy to install and use.
I bought it as the result of a friend's suggestion, so hopefully my suggestion will help you, too!

This is perfect for youuuuuuuuu!
I have one in my studio apartment, actually instead of a desk. It's perfect for small spaces.... it's a mini office for me (very mini) but it's all I have space for...so I make it work.
I use it with a chair sometimes, for which it's okay, but the bulk of the unit does get in your way a bit. I like to use it for standing, because I sit all day at work, so when I get home it's nice to have the option to stand and stretch for a bit. I also like that it has a little storage underneath.
|
|

Actually, I like this whole outfit! I think this is perfect because it's super cute but not too sexy! Perfect for a family gathering. It's a sweater, so it will do a good job at keeping you warm, too!

I like these STM bags. They are lightweight and easily hold all the necessary things.... power cords, books, etc. It will fit your 15" for sure and is adjustable so it's pretty comfortable to carry.
Keep in mind that it's NOT waterproof at all, so don't be taking it in the rain! It will be a problem.
It's not for heavy use, like don't take it on a trip to Europe or anything, but for school or zipping to the coffee shop it is perfect.

I have had a lot of bad lip gloss experiences in my lifetime, but this is NOT one of them. Not only is this great for hydration, but it's silky smooth on my lips. Not sticky at all.

These are great. Fashionable and seriously comfortable. serious.
They look wonderful from the second they come out of the box. The material is very very nice and certainly looks more expensive than it is!
I mostly like these for the comfort they offer.
I wear them all day in the winter time with absolutely no problem.

Very sleek and small...I like this style watch right here. Professional looking for sure. A little on the formal side, but very attractive.
I like the simplicity.
The leather band is soft and comfortable... wear it all day and you won't even notie it's there!.....except when someone compliments how nice your watch looks!

This one is old school and looks fragile, but worry not!! it's a very solid rack, made of steel. It will perform for you.

If your main concern is laptop transport you should consider something made specifically for that purpose. This case logic is what I have and it would be perfect for you. It is a great price that you can't pass up!
It has 3 compartments-furthest out is the pen organizer, then a book/folder/binder compartment, then closest to you is the padded laptop compartment.
It's got a nice big handle on top, too. It's like a briefcase mixed with a backpack!

Right here girl! I have some of these and they are HOT!
I love the colors and the heel is pretty tall. I can't say they are the most comfortable shoe of all time, but fashion is pain, right?
These will make you happy! People will compliment them! I love mine! They are one of my go to shoes right now.

I always go with the bar blenders, because they do what I want them to do and that is make bomb drinks. I would say it excels at crushing ice and making icy delicious drinks for me and my friends. Two speeds.... I like the simplicity.
The motor is strong and not wimpy at all, and the base feels solid too. I am very happy with this blender. No complaints.

I love this eye cream!!! It goes on silky smooth and believe me, a little goes a long way!!
It totally reduces puffiness, noticeably. It also tightens up my skin around my eyes and feels like it's actually working!
I love this lotion, you just HAVE to try it!

If you need to do some serious shredding, this salad shooter won't disappoint! I use for cole slaws and also shredding cheese. it's a great product, although i don't like cleaning it.
it shreds nearly every vegetable effortlessly for me. The only thing that does not work well is celery! too darn stringy.
carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, all good.
Very fast. I don't like chopping because my wrists are a little delicate, so this helps me avoid unnecessary strain.

You've probably seen the commercials for this stuff... but I want to say it really works well and I recommend it! stays on all day no problem

An aptly named product! This Aveeno lotion does what it sounds like it will do! It's got a subtle tint, moisturizer, and spf protection. All in one type thing.
It's very gentle and non greasy. Feels good and evens my skin tones. Try it out!

You will love this throw blanket, but I have to tell you, the advertisement is a little misleading. Just a little.
The word 'micro' is in there, which would leave me to believe that the blanket had a microfiber type feel.... like light, small threading.
But in reality it's more furry, almost fleece like. Thick and luscious. Great throw blanket. Watch out for a little shedding, but nothing too outrageous.

I own this toaster, and I like it. I have nothing spectacular to say about it, but it toasts my bread and muffins perfectly every time like a toaster should, so in that regard I have to suggest it!
Nothing fancy, just a four slot toaster that will toast stuff :)

It's like gong to the spa every day to wash your hair. The spray is VERY strong and massages my scalp and body as I shower.
It's an invigorating experience. If you like a strong spray, this should be your choice. You definitely won't be disappointed by its performance.
Also, the chrome finish is very classy. It looks marvelous in my shower, and is also rust resistant or maybe even rust proof entirely, as I have seen no problems as of yet and I know chrome is great for shower heads.

This is another version. It looks absolutely fantastic, and to be honest, that's why I bought it. It looks like it belongs in my house, considering the way I have it decorated. Perfect.
As far as sound and function, I think its awesome and don't really have any complaints. The bass is better than i thought it could be for such a small unit. Great bass! The sound in general gets pretty loud, and as far as I can tell, it's very clear.
It will play ipods, cd's, and the radio.

I would say there's nothing better than private lessons to learn how to play piano correctly and quickly. Having a private instructor will ensure you learn all the proper techniques, and usually means you will feel obligated to practice more, which in this case is a good thing.

We used to put that plastic stuff in our window when I was in college and it worked really well. Definitely added a much needed extra layer of insulation. It's easy to to put up, too. Just make sure to blow dry it a little bit so it will suck up tight and clear.

This umbrella is beautiful! It's the type of umbrella that makes you excited to use it. Instead of being like 'shoot it's raining' you'll be like 'awesome I get to use my gorgeous umbrella today!'
I'm serious this thing looks really nice and there are other flower patterns available as well... some with deep, rich purples and blues and stuff.
make your umbrella an accessory rather than a pain.

These are some hella cool boots man. Full leather upper, high top cut. Rubber sole. They should be water proof enough, as long as you're not wading through puddles or tramping through snow drifts.
I think they look sweet, and they seem like exactly what you're looking for.

I bought this brace to help me out at work where my posture is noticeably bad. I quickly realized that it works very well and definitely makes me stand up straighter. If you put it on right it will definitely do that for you.
Only problem is that it is NOT very comfortable, and I can't wear it all day at work! It rubs on my skin, so I have to wear something under it. This, in turn, adds a lot of extra bulk to my outfit and I don't like that at all! It can be noticeable under my outfit too.
SO, why do I recommend it? Well, I switched my approach and now I wear it around the house whenever I can and it has made a world of difference! As long as I am wearing it for part of the day it relieves pressure and is slowly correcting my posture. It also makes me more aware of my posture in general, so at work it's not as difficult to stand up straight all day.
I definitely recommend this one. Works great for me after adapting!!

this is a good one! i don't know if it's all that much better than any other bike pump, but i can tell you it easily fills my tires with air in no time and it has a gauge, which i like.
it also has both types of connectors on one nozzle, so you will always have the right one.

This is a gorgeous jacket, and if worn with the right stuff underneath it could be very warm indeed. I think it looks like a $200 jacket but it's only like 40.
Like I said, you would have to wear some layers with it and a scarf and hat if it was really cold out, but man it's beautiful winter coat.

The selling point for me with this atlas was the spiral binding. What a nice feature, and talk about ease of use. It's easy enough to read, although the text and maps in general are quite small. They make up for this by including lots of supplemental maps for areas where there is a lot going on (like the densely populated regions in the Northeast) and sort of 'zoom in' on these areas, makes them easier to read.
There are some maps of mexico and canado, too, which is handy for road tripping or leaving the country via automobile.
The pages are set up as a grid, and it tells you what page the next part of the map is on, to continue your route.
My big complaint is that the road names are not shown nearly enough, so you have to do a little searching to figure out what road is what. Other than that it's a solid map all the way around!

This is a wonderful winery and a wonderful pinot grigio. They describe it as a 'bright' taste and I think that is very accurate. It's bright and sweet.

very cool geometric design and a nice bold color scheme.
great for a night on the town

i prefer this one just because i think it looks better! it's a cleaner design than the other ones that have all that extra strappy material hanging off them. just the right amount of strap to fit well and not get in the way.
actually, this being said, i don't think it would fit a large muscled guy... not a long enough band.

These are great 100% cotton mens yoga pants. They are simply a relaxed fitting cotton pant that is light and loose fitting. Two pockets on the front, draw string waist. My husband loves them and wears them for yoga.
I think they are a good deal, especially considering the price of most other yoga pants. Why are they all so expensive?
These are priced well for what you get!

This is basically a basketball shoe for the tennis court. Tons of support and cushion for your feet, lots of technologies go into this shoe that I didn't even know about, like their impact absorbing adiPRENE heel, what ever that is!
Awesome awesome awesome. Top notch.

This is your basic hard shell sunglass case. I have one and it works perfectly for all my large lens glasses (like aviators and stuff). It's pretty darn big, so take into account where you're going to keep it when you're travelling and stuff... it has no sort of clip or anything. But it does a great job at keeping my sunglasses safe, i just leave it in my purse and it's awesome!

this is actually a beautiful suit from perry ellis. when i think 'seersucker' i usually don't think 'beautiful'.... but they somehow pulled it off with this thing.
the suit is a warm chocolate brown with a subtle vertical brown stripe...hence the seersucker aspect. it is also seersucker style material (100% cotton). i like it because it is more subtle than seersucker.
seriously- it looks awesome on!

I think one of these might be a nice choice for you. I just ordered one last month and am quite happy with mine. It's not huge, but it's perfect for cruising around the city for a day, like what I imagine you will be doing as you travel.
It has a specific pocket for your cell phone, and ample space for your wallet, pens, and a couple small personal items. It's not a pack for packing lunch and dinner and all your valuables in, but it is perfect for light day trips as you will probably do as you travel.
I do have to warn you that the pack is not for small people. I don't know how skinny you are, but it just barely gets tight enough for my slight frame - I'm about 5'5" and 125 lbs. Keep that in mind. Other than that, great fanny pack.

This watch came to meet you from the year 2095! i think it is so cool and futuristic. It looks soft, like a marshmello. Nice industrial look for sure.

A chocolate colored, silk bow tie is what you need! Plaid is always good for bow ties. Very cute indeed.

I LOVE these boots. I love anything from Steve Madden, though.
Like all of their stuff, these are extremely comfortable and stylish. I like the slouchy look of the boot. They're perfect for fall because they're made of high grade leather, so they will keep you warm and look beautiful!
I find that all of their boots are very well made, actually all of their EVERYTHING is very well made, so I think they'll be tough enough for you, as long as you're not wearing them all day every day.
A comfortable, well made, stylish boot.

I like these because I think they're about the "grippyest" gloves I've used in a long time. They attach themselves directly to your handle and they stay put!
Comfortable and flexible, too. All around well crafted.

You should try one of these if the problem is bad. I know mine got so bad my car wouldn't start! I just didn't know.
Now I do. I bought of of these and a cleaner and went to work on those terminals and the clamps.
Let me just say, they're sparkling now!

This is a fantastic cardigan. I love men in cardigans! Nice stripe design, 100% cotton. I think most cardigans look very nice on men - just make sure you find something made out of a nice, lightweight material. and try to stay away from those old man cardigans like mr. rogers wears!

This is a wonderful, inexpensive option for you to consider. Perfect if you're on a budget. You can probably buy it and get it delivered for under 25 dollars.
That is a really good deal considering it's quality... I have had no durability issues with it at all, in fact it's better made then I thought it would be at such a low price. The strap is comfortable and doesn't slip, and also is adjustable. I can fit everything I need for work in it, and like that I can also use it for days at the zoo and going to the beach and stuff.
Two suggestions for improvement would be to add a zipper on the main compartment. You can kind of close it with the flap, but you can't actually seal the main compartment, which is kind of a bummer. Also, there are no pen holders, which I could use.
Other than that I like the over all design, look and feel of it, and would certainly recommend it.

I HIGHLY recommend this product for grass stains! I've tried them all and this works the best for me.
Grass stains are really tough because A) they set fast and B) they are a combination of grain and soil (usually) so you need something that can fight them both. That's why this stuff is so great
Just completely soak the stain with it and then wash in warm water.
It's amazing - I guarantee it will work for you!

you should try these out, I'm curious to see what you think:
http://www.amazon.com/CALDEN-K99805-Inches-Increas...
they add a ton of height and are a good looking fashion boot. I know guy who had some and said they're pretty cool except it's almost like walking in high heels, and takes some serious getting used to.
the boot design is awesome because it makes the lift completely invisible, as long as you can master walking in them.
watch out when you take them off around people. it will be very obvious that you were wearing elevator shoes - i mean 3.6 inches is A LOT!!!
