I have used EVGA cards and can only say good things about them. I have backed NVIDIA for as long as I can remember caring about graphics. This one has lifetime warranty so definitely a great buy! NVIDIA is also having an event GeForce LAN 6 @ USS Hornet in Alameda, CA Oct 14-16th if you can make it there is a $20 general admission. This would be a great way to see if they release a new generation of graphics... they normally unveil something for these LANs.

Find an attractive work out partner! All jokes aside, the buddy system might help a great deal.

Not out til November 15th, but this looks to be one of the best you can grab at this price point.

If you are able to handle something that is strategy/action with beautiful art and storyline try this... maybe download the demo to see if the game is for you.

You can wait til FFXIV comes out on PS3... cause by that time it may be actually something worth playing. I have played FFXIV during beta and out of beta with my PC that cost me $1500 and it was still struggling on high settings. The game is beastly with the requirements and I think you can barely squeeze by with this game even with $400. A PS3 will be a better investment money wise than a PC at the same cost. If I were you save those $250 for a few more months/years until FFXIV is something worthwhile.

I personally use the 777 versions and can vouch the mic is very good. Since you dont really need the 5.1 usb attachment, the 367 are good enough.

If you go for this be careful on the hinge when opening and closing... seems like it could snap easily.

I feel macbooks are great for travel. I am a PC guy, but on the go the well built laptops that Apple produces trump all PC laptops imo. The ability to dual boot Windows is also a big plus. The only con is that Apple costs a bit more.
