Well if you are sure you want a blender (and not a juicer) then I think this would be a great choice. It's a small, single serve style. Blend up everything in there, pop off the jar, throw a lid on it, and take your freshly blended beverage right along with you.

I think this is a great option for the budget conscious small business owner. To me, $120 for a solid printer for your business is pretty great.
The reason i recommend it is the paper feeder. You can put a stack of 60 pages in the document feeder and it will shred them all (not all at once!) while you go on to do more important things. Great idea, and perfect for any small office or business situation.

Actually this Panasonic has some impressive stats that do put it on par with the G9. It has 8x optical zoom, while the G9 has 6x. The Panasonic also has more megapixels (not that that is super important, but...).
This thing also has a 28mm wide-angle LEICA DC lens, which is a very nice lens.
These are great cameras, on par with that G9!

At that price range I would go with this guy. It's gonna be slightly over budget but just barely. Philips makes a solid TV set, and at 19 inches the fact that it's 720p won't even be noticeable. It's LED backlit and has an LCD screen, so it should have a nice sharp picture for you. Definitely a solid choice.

I would go with an open or semi-open Sennheiser. That is a very good brand, and the open air variety allows for more accurate sound reproduction (with less distortion).
They won't be noise canceling, but sound quality will be spectacular.
If not Sennheiser I would also recommend AKG, Sony, or Audio Technica.

I love what these earbuds have to offer: volume limiter for kids who might listen to music too loud. I have heard plenty of stories of kids listening to their music too loud and consequently damaging their hearing, whether it be permanent or temporary. These don't let that happen because they have a volume limiter that holds back the peak volume by about 40%. I think that is a great feature.
Also, they come with interchangeable ear cushions for different sized ears and a convenient carry/storage case so they don't get lost or twisted up.

This is the one I use and I am pretty happy with it. It is comfortable on my lap and does a pretty good job at moving air... my only complaint is I think it could do more in the way of cooling, but for my purposes it gets the job done.
It can be tough to find one that is comfortable and cools well, so I think this is a good mix of both of those things.

You ever seen these? I mean these are designed for you exactly! it's just a soft headband with some little speakers in there. From what I gathered, the sound quality isn't exceptional, but it's pretty good for what it is. They're not meant for studio work.... just to help you sleep.

Intel's 510 series is an excellent choice for you SSD. Sure, bigger is better, and I hope 120 gb is enough for you.

I feel like this would be a nice one for you, even though it's marketed as an "entertainment" laptop. It has some real good stuff going on inside (and outside, for that matter) that should make it a real workhorse, regardless of your needs.
Software development.... I don't know a ton about it, but you will need a good display, powerful and fast computing, and a full keyboard and number pad. This Asus definitely has all those bases covered.
You get a nice big 15.6 inch HD (1366x768) LED display with Nvidia GT540M graphics, full keyboard, full number pad. YOu also get 4gb ddr3, Intel's i7 processor (with turbo boost up to 2.8Ghz) and a decent sized 500gb hard drive.
These are some solid statistics, and I am pretty sure you will have no problem doing your software development this stuff going on under the hood!

The 50" Viera is in your price range, and is a very capable gaming machine television. It has 1080p resolution on its beautiful Plasma display. It is internet ready and has 3D capabilities too... you can even buy 3D games now. So cool.
For gaming, it has Game Mode where it automatically chooses settings that give you the best possible image, so you get fast response and no delay on those quick moving games. Also since it is Plasma, there will be virtually no motion blur. Definitely a good choice for the serious gamer.

This is going to be an excellent TV for you, although I guess I do have one complaint about it.... it's only 60Hz. This means that if you watch sports or plan on doing some high speed gaming you might see some motion blur. See, Hz refers to the refresh rate. A higher refresh rate means the image is redrawn on the screen more often, rendering less blur with fast moving action. As long as you're not watching really quick moving sports all the time or doing some serious gaming you really won't notice any difference.
The great thing is you're looking at a beautiful 1080p LCD (LED backlit) display. It has an excellent contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 which will give you bright colors and deep darks.
One more thing I want to acknowledge is the aesthetics of it. You might not care about this sort of thing, but I like to have a TV that looks great whether or not it's turned on, because it is like a piece of furniture in my house. So I like the fact that this set looks really nice! It would be a welcome addition to my living room!

I've read really good things about Sharp TVs. I know their high end models (like in the 4, 5 thousand dollar range) are rated among the best in picture quality.

I agree with Emily that this is your best choice. The main factor here is that Nikons can do full time autofocus and Canons cannot. I think Panasonic and Olympus have a camera that will do it, but I happen to be a big fan of Nikon... I think they have the edge in image quality. This one will shoot full High Def videos at 1080p and do continuous auto focus for you.
Even besides video it's going to be an incredible camera. It has a nice big CMOS sensor and EXPEED 2 image processing engine, which will deliver fantastic image quality. Your stills will be beautiful!

I would say check out this Kodak Easy Share. Not only is it available in some fun colors, but it's also waterproof and takes some decent pics. I think a child would really enjoy that. The thing is, there are plenty of "kids cameras" out there, but most of them are really crappy cameras with a Disney character or something on it to make it marketable to kids.... but seriously a lot of those cameras take awful pictures, so I would recommend going with something that will get you some decent pics at least!
They claim it will shoot at depths of up to 10 ft... man that would be really fun in a pool or something!
It has a nice little LCD display and will capture pics at 12mp. There are not many buttons on this camera, and simplicity is the name of the game with this option. I think that's a good thing for a kid, as they probably don't want to get bogged down with directions, but would rather start shooting right away.
Sharing pictures (on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr or Kodak Gallery) is as easy as pushing one button.... so user friendly. It also has intelligent scene detection, so it should maximize the clarity of each shot, depending on light and other conditions.
This will get decent pics, it's easy to use, and even can go underwater. I think it's perfect for a child! I would have loved it as a kid!

I would say your best bet would be Leap Frog Explorer... but this comes from reading other people reviews online not from actually owning one!
It is cool that the Mobigo has the keyboard, but it seems to me (again, from reviews I read) that kids prefer the Leap Frog Explorer because it is just more entertaining. You know, more stimulating with sights and sounds and stuff. It seems like Mobigo might have a more educational feel to it, where Explorer is more geared towards entertainment.

This is a great phone by Samsung. It's great for people for me who want a great phone but don't think they will use a smart phone enough to justify purchasing one.

Definitely look into these North Face gloves. They designed to help facilitate dexterity. They even have an 'e-tip' as they call it, which enables you to use your touch screen devices while the gloves are being worn. Very cool!

However, I have also heard that the low price is sort of reflected in the build quality. I guess it feels a bit like cheap plastic. But I have also heard that it works quite well and the actual image and resolution is great. Definitely worth a look, and it seems to be well worth the price.

Oh yeah this is a good time for you to get yourself some Bose speakers for sure! I see that Lance also recommended Bose to you, and we both have the same thing to say about them: they are incredibly accurate, and not super loud. They won't 'bump' at all.
I, myself am a musician, and much prefer accurate sound reproduction to high volume capabilities. If you were to listen to these speakers and then a same size speaker that costs $20 you will notice an incredible difference. The difference is clarity. With good speakers you can hear every note that every instrument plays, individually. With crappy speakers it all runs together and gets muddy.
Any way, long story short, these are really good and I think you will love them.

I HIGHLY suggest this weight training book (sorry, it's not a video!) by Joan Pagano. This lady really knows what she is talking about. All you need is some weights, some space, and some determination!
This is like the Bible of weight training for women. It's a comprehensive guide to everything weight training. There are so many routines and workouts in here, you will definitely find some that work for you.
Pagano is incredibly thorough with her descriptions, so you will find that you are gaining knowledge as well as burning calories. She gives you health information you can use across the board, rather than just exercises.
The book is put together in a well organized fashion that makes it very accessible. It is well written and interesting, and the explanations are very well thought out. Also, the pictures really show exactly what you need to be doing.
I love this book, and think weight training is the way to go!

This is a great beginner telescope that will give you some astonishing images. Set up, though, is a little tricky. It involves a compass and a level, and for max results it has to be more or less perfect.

This is a wonderful recorder that I have used for a few years to record my voice lessons in school. For this purpose it is perfect. It is easy to set up in my lesson and start recording immediately. Afterwards it's easy to put the material on my computer and work with it.

I think the feather hair extensions are super cool. My friend just got some, and they are not the super thin kind, but more like a normal bird feather, but it's actually clamped into her hair with a little metal clasp. Crazy stuff!
It's cool because she can pretty much treat it like it's her normal hair. She can wash and dry it.... she can even straighten/curl it with her flattening iron. Makes sense that you can do all that, because i would guess a feather is made of similar proteins and stuff as your hair is.

I would say Rosetta stone. I know you've seen the commercials! I only suggest it because my friend used it to help her learn some french before a trip to France. She worked on it for about 4 or 5 months and she got some good results!
I remember what she said about it, because I was thinking about doing it, too. She said that it's really easy to set up and get going, and that the technique is quite effective and she learned a ton of vocab right away. She also said it got kind of boring after a while and it became a chore to do after a few weeks..... slowly she began doing it less and less frequently.
She did learn quite a bit of vocab (although is no where near fluent, like they claim she should be...) and said getting around France was pretty easy, mostly because almost everything is in english.
But it did help her to communicate with some French speaking people and she even had some short, simple conversations in France.
I believe the Rosetta Stone program works. However, I don't believe in paying $400 dollars for this software. That's ridiculous! If you can afford it, DO IT!

I prefer this type because they don't just muffle everything, they make everything quieter but still audible. They don't distort sounds, they make them much quieter, but still with the same frequencies.
Ideal for concerts or any time you want to hear something clearly, just not as loud.

This has become one of my absolute favorite merlots. I read about it in an article somewhere (i forget now exactly which magazine), but it was an article about the best budget wines, and this was # 2 or 3. I tried it when I saw it at my grocery store and was pleasantly surprised by its rich flavor and full body.
I like merlots and this is one of the best I've had!

This is a beautiful piece that I just purchased for my small living space. I noticed I had too much clutter (i just have a lot of STUFF to begin with) around me and all of a sudden felt claustrophobic. i've been watching too many of those hoarding shows on television!
so to help me organize and tidy up a little bit i splurged on this handsome wooden shelf. I wanted something functional AND pretty to look at. here it is.
it is very attractive once you have it assembled. assembly is QUITE tough indeed and it took me and my boyfriend a solid hour to have it up and ready to go.
but now it's done and it looks wonderful, and it does exactly what i want it to do: hold my randoms in a somewhat organized fashion. perfect!

This is a great quality ski pant ruined in the reviews by its poor sizing! The pant itself is great.... completely waterproof, and the suspenders offer that extra mid-layer weather protection. I love the quality and performance of these, but come on, Arctix!!! get your sizing right. these run really small, so you'll need at least a size smaller than you think!

This is a really good option for a beginner for one real good reason: they have breaks! A lot of intermediate skates don't, which would be bad for someone just learning.
you can see how comfortable they are just by the pics - it's like a shoe on wheels. looks like a shoe and ties down like a shoe, with support coming from the ankle and back.
you're going to want something like this that is comfortable and decently high quality so you get your best possible skating experience!

this will be very comfortable, but only if you are small like me. you can actually kind of tell in the pic that the neck hole is too small! but i am a small person so it works out well for me.
i like the buckwheat because I am able to put it in the microwave and heat it up for a few seconds and then put it on and it is like a hug for my neck simply amazing

This stuff works pretty well, but oh man is it dark. maybe too dark for legal reasons? I don't know how to measure tint darkness... but this might be too dark. but i like it like that! i need my sun protection here in AZ.
the stuff works as advertised. if you follow the directions and do exactly what they say (don't worry, it's pretty simple) you should be able to get some nice results like I did. take your time so it comes out right.
I would recommend asking a friend to help with putting it on because it can be tricky, only because manipulating the sheet of tint is awkward.
I only have mine in the back seats because it's so dark. i don't roll down my back windows too often, but I have with the tint on and it worked... no peeling.
I think it's a fine product, and I would definitely recommend it to you!

AWESOME shoulder pad! A nice mixture of padding and soft exterior material, so it protects and feels good on your bare skin.
I especially like it for long trips in the car. Actually, it has become a necessity to me along with my neck pillow.... this combination = ultimate comfort.

This is a great poncho. I like that it's lightweight but still has the fisherman jacket look. very thin but waterproof and breathable, too. i keep one in my car and one in my house because i hate walking around in the rain!!!

This is a wonderful product that is easily adjustable, should fit just about any vehicle. It's well made almost all the way around... but if you read some reviews online you will find the same story: great product, terrible installation hardware.
The barrier itself is easy to use, easy to adjust, and adequately creates a solid feeling barrier between the seating and cargo area in an suv.
The problem, as I mentioned, is that the hardware sucks. The nuts and bolts that come with this thing are hard to assemble and barely even fit together. cheap cheap cheap. So I would recommend using your own hardware...any bolts with wing nuts should do the trick.

I would say if he's able to jump into the back you ought to teach him how. Any opportunity to teach your dog should be used to your advantage!
Try coaxing him with a treat. Let him know you have it and try to get him to follow it up and in to the back. Then of course give him the treat... this will reinforce the fact that getting up there is a good thing!

I like the size of this one...perfect for organizing the crap in the back of my jeep. I hate having loose items bouncing around the back, so one of these is essential to my sanity. this is just the right size to hold my jumper cables, big flashlight, extra blanket, a couple of my son's baseball mits and gloves, and interior cleaning supplies like armor all wipes. it's great!
the sides are reinforced with plastic so they're static structures and won't fall over. one bummer is that there is no anti-slip technology on he bottom, so the thing is free to slide around. I have it sort of jerry-rigged with a bungee cord, which should come with it! Works great once you get it set up right!

I think it's important to find clothes that fit you properly, first and foremost. This will make you look thinner than baggy or tight clothes.
Find some dark blue jeans that fit like pants are supposed to fit. Avoid large patterns on your shirts - this is a good rule to follow. Also avoid anything with unnecessary bulk, like cargo pockets, and extra pockets anywhere. They just add to your size. Stay away from pleated pants for the same reason.
A fitted button up shirt will go a long way, but only if it fits you right! It's important that it's not too big and long, but it's also important that it doesn't pull tight against you anywhere. Get a pattern or a solid color... ask a sales associate at a nice department store to help you find something stylish that will fit... that's their job after all!

This is an awesome lumbar support, but be warned - it's on the soft side. Not super firm or anything. Nice for me because I am a petite lady, but might not be enough support for a larger person.

I wash my wools in the kitchen sink, making sure first off that the sink itself is clean.
Fill it enough to submerge the sweater in warm water, using a small amount of dish soap to get some bubbles happening. Not too much soap! Gently place the sweater in the sink and submerge it... not too much rubbing or scrubbing required.
Drain the sink and lightly rinse the sweater out, using your hands to disperse water over the entire sweater.
You have to air dry it, but you don't want to ring the water out, as this may mis-shape the wool. a good trick is to put it in a towel and roll up the towel nice and tight, ensuring the sweater keeps a proper, non wrinkled shape.
there you go! let it dry over night in the shape it should be in. don't hang it because it will get funky shoulder points and make sure it's in a ventilated area where it's going to dry and not mold!

but the real benefit from getting vitamins in your body is the food itself that contains the vitamins. It has so many other necessities and goodies for your body, and just the straight vitamin is certainly not a replacement.
If you have a well balanced diet, you will get all the vitamins you need.
i can't say it's a bad supplement to your already healthy diet, though. there is no proof that it's bad to take vitamins, so go for it... just don't be tricked into buying something really expensive. it's unnecessary and won't do any difference.

I would say make sure you don't try to rub it at all with your fingers or anything, this will definitely make the problem worse. If it just happened, try to lightly brush off the pieces of ash with a light brush of some sort. or vacuum it.... yes i think that would work well.
then some soapy water, luke warm. not a ton...just enough to saturate the area, then try to rinse it out with some plain water.
I think this would work quite nicely.

If you're serious about it you should buy this assortment. So many colors to chose from its almost frustrating. Ha not really it's awesome this paint works really well and is completely permanent and washable - it will not come off. Not for a while, at least.
You can paint on just about every fabric and material. Great to have around for crafts or even fashion.

I personally don't like anything more than a little simple stud. These black ones are pretty cool...maybe the right guy could pull off a diamond stud... that might be cool. But only on the right guy! These are nice under the radar type studs that won't interfere with your outfit or lifestyle.

I would also say you should pay a little extra at the car wash and get an undercarriage wash a few times during the salty months. It can wreak havoc on the machinery down there. This is more important to keep an eye on than your paint job, because it involves your safety and the functionality of your vehicle.

have you ever tried clarks? they are the comfort kings of shoes. their first priority is comfort. everything they do with their shoe is designed with comfort in mind.

pretty good cup holder, too small though. i mean, it can hold small bottles and cups, but even a coffee mug struggles to fit in there. it goes on pretty easily and stays put well enough. the cups that do fit in there stay snug, though. i like that. no play at all.... no spillage.
the other thing you have to remember with one of these is that it's going to take up one of your vents if there's a beverage in it... this can be problematic, depending on your vent status (like how many you have, and if they all work).
